Going near bedrock level (120-100) puts you inside the ceiling, presenting very little to no risk of falling. If you dig at surface there is risk of:
- Getting killed by mobs
- Having hidden lava blocks scattered across the nether pour all over you, killing you along with your stuff
- Walking into lava without trying.
Slime farm troubleshooting tips:
Make sure that ALL caves, strongholds, mineshafts, dungeons, and other dark spawnable areas within a 300 block sphere around your slime farm are lighted up and filled in. Double check.
Make sure you build your farm in an area that can spawn slimes -- e.g: in these little 'slime' chunks which you can find by inputting your seed into a slime chunk finder tool.
Make sure you are NOT on peaceful mode.
Make sure the room is high enough and there is enough area for slimes to spawn but not wander around and not fall in.
Make sure your farm is lighted up with a nice amount of light from jack-o-lanterns, to prevent other mobs (zombie/creeper/skeleton/enderman) from spawning. Glowstone is transparent, and torches look ugly and take up space.
I lost interest to Minecraft a long time ago, back in early 2013, and got interested in pretty much nothing, gets interested in mid 2013 to something else, then i got interested to minecraft on late 2013 again, and in early 2014 i got interested to something else, and now interested in minecraft again So start finding yourself in minecraft again.
Skins don't corrupt the worlds, they do stuff to the player, not your worlds. Mods can, so be sure to duplicate your minecraft 1.whatever folder and install Forge/modloader and some mods on that, and test out the game, be sure to create a new world so you get the structures, dimensions, and mobs; old worlds will NOT WORK.
As you know, in the recent snapshots, the Endermite mob was added to be included the future 1.8 release, the dots around the silverfish were removed and the color was turned to purple, they ocassionaly spawn when "ender" teleportation happens (e.g. an Enderman teleports or a player uses an Ender pearl). Well what about a Nethermite, another silverfish-like mob that spawns only in nether fortresses.
Of course, this will not be the texture forever, they are working on another endermite model, and they will also provide some purpose to the endermite.
No this is not a cheap copy of the Endermite, it is a mix of the endermite and the magmacube for 2 reasons: they emit fire particles (like the magmacube), and you can see it has glowing eyes (like the magmacube). They have a rare (10%) chance of spawning when a big Magma Cube is killed. These mobs don't spawn in the overworld without killing a magma cube. They drop 0-1 xp, and have a 25% chance of dropping 1 magma cream.
They deal 1 (half a ) of damage, and will temporarily set the player on fire for 1 redstone tick.

Worst idea ever... this is redundant (suggested several times before) and is already partially in the game, cacti leaks toxic water, there are no wounds in minecraft, adding them would be pointless other than to annoy players, and holding a water block? This idea is a mess, No support
I think we should be able to get an extremely rare chance of a golden carrot drop from zombies, or from carrot blocks, and then we can plant the golden carrots just like regular carrots.
I think my most hated one is the Ghast. They are annoying, they shoot fireballs and destroy your netherrack shelters, and they easily knock you back into a lava sea when you are at that moment when you are just 1 block away from death or are building a bridge.

A floating end portal room in the middle of nowhere in the ocean. Digging down from the end portal, you get to a library, and digging forward you get to a jail cell. There are actually 2 libraries.
Hey world. So, you probably know that basically the only fruits in minecraft are apples and melons, I'm thinking of a new fruit: Strawberries!
It can only be obtained in dungeons, making it kinda of a later-game treat in minecraft. When a strawberry is eaten, they restore 2.5 chicken sticks.
It could also be used to make a potion of health boost, which brings 2 extra hearts for 2 minutes. Adding glowstone would increase it to 4 hearts, and adding redstone would increase the duration to 6 minutes, adding gunpowder would make a splash potion with the same timing, and finally adding a fermented spider eye will corrupt the potion to make a "Potion of Health Decrease" (which doesn't exist yet, but removes 2 hearts from your health that don't regenerate until the effect ends).
