Is the ghost mode glitch (shown here: ) still present in 1.9? Are there new ways to perform it? What kinds of wacky shenanigans can you pull off while in ghost mode?

Should I move this thread to another subforum? It's not technically Redstone related, but this seems like the best place to put it.

Add a large "I have no idea what I'm doing" button to the Workstations that, when pressed, will pull up the crafting recipes for the guide books. I'm tired of seeing Youtubers trying to make Manyullyn Shortbows and such.

    Inspiration strikes!

Everyone is really not liking the loss of the Repair enchantment, right? Make the Recharge Pedestal repair items that are placed in it (using energy from the local aura). Mending would still have a use (you won't have to go back to the Pedestal as often), but players could still use Thaumcraft to repair their tools!

You can optionally charge the Vis amulet and Thaumastatic Harness in the Recharge Pedestal - but there is no point really as the Vis Amulet recharges when worn, and charges the Thaumastatic Harness when worn.

So I understand this mechanic less after the latest improvements than ever.

Idea: the recharge pedestal "supercharges" items for ten minutes or so, giving whatever is placed inside of it double the normal recharge rate (even if it is removed from the pedestal and placed inside of the player's inventory) for the duration of the supercharge.

The recharge rate could be replaced by some other buff (possibly even a permanent transformation into a different item) for certain items.

Odd idea for charging the Dragonbone Spear. For those with a pet dragon an optional alternative to having to strike the killing blow with the spear could be having your pet dragon charge it up with their breath. You command your dragon to breath on it.

Shift click on your dragon with the normal Dragonbone Spear and if they are old enough they will perform a breath attack aimed at the spear in your hand and instead of damaging you and your surroundings the spear absorbs the magic being released by the attack.

If they aren't old enough to perform the necessary attack they just grunt or growl at you because you're telling them to do something that they can't.

After a number of uses the fire or ice Dragonbone Spear's charge will drain away and it will turn back into a normal Dragonbone Spear. The spear can then be charged again.

Maybe both methods could be possible, so that both dragon trainers and hunters could use the spears.

Idea: Instead of using durability, the DS's breath attack uses food from your hotbar (more filling food is drained slower; Dragonbone Armor and Specialized Dragonbone Armor also make the food drain slower). If you don't have food on your hotbar, it applies Hunger VIII (reduced by one level for every piece of Dragonbone Armor or Specialized Dragonbone Armor you have on) to you while you use its breath attack. If this interpretation is used, the DS might not actually need to have durability. As an added bonus, this would make the DS an unbreakable melee weapon (put in in a Killer Joe?), which is a nice buff.

Actually, I think that the Breath Rods and the Dragonbone Spear could be made into the same item (with a Fire and a Cold version). A Fire Aspect or Slowness rider effect could be a distinguishing effect between the melee attacks of the two kinds of Dragonbone Spear (DS). The DS would likely have to be upgraded by a non-crafting method, though.

Ooh, new idea: You can only craft normal DS's. You turn the normal DS's into their Fire or Cold versions by killing a dragon of the appropriate type with them. Once you've attuned a DS to one type of energy, you can't reattune it to a different one. A DS's breath level is based on the strongest dragon (of its type) that you've killed with that particular DS.

posted a message on THE TITANS MOD: The most dangerous bosses in all of Minecraft, even attacking your pc!

I just wanted to pop in to ask if you could add a configure option to disable to weapons and armor that this mod adds and to reduce the Wither Turrets' anti-Titan extra damage.

How do Titans deal with forests and such? Do they just walk through blocks like the Ender Dragon?

When do you think that the hitbox issue mentioned in the OP will be fixed?

posted a message on Ice and Fire: Dragons in a Whole New Light! - Build 1.1.0 - 1.11.2 Update

I'm liking the concept of this mod so far!

    Ideas:

If an older (and thus smarter) dragon hasn't taken damage since its last swoop, it will attempt to circle strafe its targets. When (and only when) all of its enemies in a nearby area are dead or it is under 1/4 health, it will quickly swoop down and pick up the edible (perhaps the Dragon will have its own "hunger bar", and gain the effects of foods that it eats, allowing you to poison younger (and thus dumber) dragons with Pufferfish and the like) drops of its foes. Once it has eaten, the dragon will fly off to its cave with any non-edible items that it has collected, and deposit them there.

Don't fall into the trap of making super powerful invincibility armor. That way leads to Orespawn. Instead, make the armor unique. Perhaps the Draconic Armor will have the protection of Iron Armor and, but reduce the amount of damage that you actually receive by half of a heart per hit per piece of armor and have the enchantability of Golden Armor. Fire Armor could regenerate durability in high light levels and passively lose it in low light levels, while Ice Armor could regenerate durability on snow and ice and rapidly lose it whenever you're set on fire (even if you have fire resistance).

Craftable Breath Rods could duplicate draconic breaths by holding right-click while they're in your hand (rapidly reducing their durability). By crafting unused Breath Rods together, you could get the breath effects of older dragons.

A Dragonbone spear could have a melee range of six blocks and have the enchantability of a Golden Sword, but only have the damage of an Iron Sword.

Some specialized pieces of armor (with the protection level of Leather Armor and the regeneration abilities and enchantability of the standard set of armor) could also be interesting. A Skull Mask could increase the effects and range of Breath Rods and make them slowly regenerate durability while they're in your inventory. A Winged Chestplate could function like an Elytra (true flight is really OP; see my Flightless thread) with the ability to get a speed boost once per 30 seconds (this should be significant, but not large enough to let you fly indefinitely). Slam Leggings could increase the melee critical hit multiplier and let you deal more damage and knockback with melee attacks while flying with an Elytra or Winged Armor. Lift Off Boots could allow you to jump much higher by remaining still, crouching, and holding the spacebar. When you release the spacebar, you jump up a height determined by how long you held it down.

I want Vanilla armor to also be affected, so that progressing in difficult mods like Draconic Evolution gives you a reward at the end instead of something equivalent to what one could create with 24 diamonds and a crafting bench.

I know about TC's anti-flight code, and ideally, this mod would copy that code if Azanor permitted it to.
