    A little something I made in about 6 hours. I guess I could take requests, but please don't give me anything TOO large or outside the colour scheme too much (this was tough enough to manage as it is, If my texture mod didn't change clay to a salmonish colour I wouldn't have been able to shade their skin). Feedback is Appreciated!

    I'm pretty sure this is my third time writing this.... maybe you're the retarded one... God gave you eyes... SoF*CKINGuse them....     I like the idea of a stalking mob, but have you noticed the pattern all mobs share? They won't attack you if you're too far away because of their programming. It would be a lot harder to program a mob that can think for itelf with strategic movements (Instead of just chasing when you get too close), as well as knowing whenever you're looking directly at it...

    But a guy named Hamsterboo commented on my forum post with an idea that actually would be pretty cool. Have sunken ships underwater, with a Shark-Mob Spawner inside :tongue.gif:

    Number two: Oh you found one? cool, it's just that i read somewhere that they were removed because of the whole "attack on peaceful" contradiction... i thought they spawned near bedrock, i basically live down there, and and never saw one...

    It was rumored on Minepedia's Mob page that Notch has considered inputting Shark Mobs to patrol the waters. This got me thinking, "If Notch is introducing water-borne Mobs, all the players will stay as far away as possible from the water, won't they?" My suggestion to Notch would be to give players more of a reason to explore the waters and oceans of Minecraft, perhaps by adding new underwater blocks such as Coral, SeaRock, etc., and new materials and items such as (re-introducing) Sponge, Luminescent Plants, etc. The only way to get to such materials, however, would be the creation of a Diving Suit. It would be made the same way as armor but instead of the helmet design, put a glass block in the very center of the Crafting Box and surround it with the material (this would also finally give glass a use besides being decorative). For weaknesses, have an (extended) oxygen bar that slowly goes down over the period of, let's say, 20 minutes (ie. a full day) as well as a certain amount of damage taken before the helmet's glass cracks.

    HamsterBoo recommended flippers instead of boots, and these would regulate the movement speed underwater so that they would match above-ground mobilty. Other reccomendations include Sea Urchins (underwater cacti), Seaweed, (like trees) Clams (like mushrooms), Fish (standard sized Mobs) and Air Pocket Caves (similar to dungeon rooms). Shipwrecks with Shark Spawners (awesome idea, BTW) for enemy creation.

    I just found out I could have read the Oceancraft forum instead of making this...I feel pretty dumb...
