Transparent, Or translucent?
Transparent is completely see through, with no color pigment at all (e.g. Glass), while translucent is see through, but does have light pigmentation. (E.g. Stained glass)
Also, just wondering, what ever happened to the Texture Support I made, that Forgotten Lands one?

Here's a screenshot I took with GlassCraft back in MC 1.1. The item pics for the stained glass have solid colors but you can see through the actual glass blocks that have been placed. I don't recall which of the included textures this was.
A pic showing the translucent glass blocks desperately needs to be added to the OP though.
Ahhh, thank you and this is because of the texture pack, not the coding. The opacity of the texture has to be set to a lower standard. When it is remodded I can guarantee a better mod :))
Looks nice, really like how you put the perspective of dying. It's not necessarily a bad thing, but the story does move a bit fast, and it sometimes makes the story not quite as easy to get into. But it has alot of potential and could become a really good fanfiction.

I’m just an average person. I have long black hair that curls at the ears, black eyes, a regular nose, and an imperfect smile. The name is Darren. I play videogames and I wear skinny jeans. I fool around with friends and get B's in school. I am 13 turning 14 in 5 days. My life was usual, up until a few hours ago. I was at home, watching some nature show on Discovery Channel. Bored as usual, and no homework - at all. I sat on my red leather couch staring at the blue walls. I heard a noise coming from the television and then suddenly, on TV some refined stone was falling down to hit the camera, I blanked out. A few seconds later I saw myself, in third person, lying down in an all black room. Here I was thinking about myself. Then, everything turned white.
Thinking about what happened in the past few hours, I'm going to write about what happened each day or night. Just to keep records of what's happening. Well onward with the story.
I woke up, dizzy, and tired. I was fatigued for some weird reason. I woke up with about a few trees, and some grass surrounding me. I was super confused and I didn't know what to do. All I had were my bare hands and some clothes. I also had a satchel of some kind; or was it a backpack? Who knows, or cares? I got frustrated at not knowing what happened so I hit the ground, hard. Suddenly the dirt popped up in block form. I knew this couldn’t really happen so I assumed I was in some kind of video game. I decided to take some of the wood from the trees. I could barely get some sticks using only my bare hands. That plan was a failure so I decided to get some dirt. After I destroyed about 50 cubes of dirt, it started to become midday. Using the knowledge I had learned from other video games like Maplestory, Dofus or FortressCraft, I created a shelter that was about 3 by 3 by 3 blocks. That night, I blocked off the entrance using another block so that there was only a small hole for someone to barely crawl through. I made a small bed by molding dirt together and took a quick nap.
I woke up in the afternoon to the noise of pigs and cows. I didn't know what time it was. I thought I was still dreaming until I heard the chickens and sheep. I looked outside my lame, little house and saw the sun setting and a few animals wandering aimlessly. I saw some more trees and thought I should see what I could do with it. I scratched at the trees again but this time I got a log and no measly sticks. I went back inside my “house” and looked inside my satchel to put the log away and I saw a small plank with 5 boxes carved into it. Four of them were arranged in a 2x2 square and to the right of the square was an arrow leading to the last carved block. I put the log of wood in one of the carved squares because they were the same size and in the box near the arrow appeared 4 wooden planks. I picked up the planks and the log disappeared. I put 1 of the planks in each of the 4 carved boxes to see if I could trade 4 planks for 1 log but a brown, white, a little bit of blue object appeared. I picked it up as the planks disappeared. I placed it in my house and in it happened to be a 3x3 square instead of a 2x2. It looked like those boxes were meant to make things so I decided to call it a workbench. It was becoming night so I decided to go to sleep.
I woke up in the middle of the night to some crazy noises. I looked outside and saw some LIVING SKELETONS with bows and arrows; I also saw some big green things walking around who I decided to call creepers because they crept me out. I decided to put all of my stuff down, including my backpack, to walk out there. Right when I got out the skeletons immediately spun around and the creepers started to walk to me. I just stood there, frozen with fear. Then it all went wrong, the skeletons started to shoot arrows at me but I luckily I had enough sense to dodge the first few, but one did manage to hit my left hand. I pulled the arrow out quickly and threw it at the nearest skeleton hitting him just hard enough to knock his arrow out of its hand. I dashed behind a tree a stood there looking at the gash in my left hand. I quickly ripped some of my shirt off and covered the gash with my shirt. I was feeling better after some time and decided to look around the corner of the tree. I saw nothing, just the night sky and the bare image of my house. I walked slowly to the house trying not to disturb anything, and it was silent. I was about 10 paces away from my house when I heard a hissing sound. I quickly spun around just in time to see a creeper exploding. The force of the explosion flung my body across the floor. I was fine until I hit the ground; then it all went red. I was dead. As soon as my vision went red, I went into a third person perspective and I saw my body laying there in a huge crater created by the explosion of the creeper. I watched for who knows how long, not knowing what would happen next.
I was still staring at my body then suddenly everything turned white. I woke up, in same place as where I started. I looked in the distance and saw a faint resemblance of my old house. The sun was barely rising and I saw a skeleton and zombie on fire. I realized that skeletons and zombies burned in the sunlight, just like vampires. I also realized that I couldn't die or at least I had more than one life. I ventured out to see what was left of my shabby house, which unfortunately, was the whole front of the house. I walked though the gaping hole that the creeper had left and saw a few on my things on the ground. I picked them up and went off to find materials to build a new home. I looked in my satchel and all I had left were 9 blocks of grass and the workbench. I decided to start to grab some more wood, to make a fire, as it was turning to late afternoon. I got some wood, 10 blocks to be exact and put them in my satchel. It was becoming late and I need to find shelter, fast! I quickly dropped the wood in my workbench and got 40 planks. I put two planks on top of each other and I saw 4 sticks. I decided to make 40 sticks. I now had 40 sticks and 20 planks. I rushed to the nearest wall I saw and started to dig the dirt away. I quickly ran into stone. It took forever to take out the stone by hand. So using quick thinking, I pulled out my workbench and put the plans in the shape of a pickaxe. It didn’t work. I used sticks as a handle instead and it was a success. I took the pickaxe and carved my way through the wall about 20 blocks before my pickaxe disappeared. I looked in my satchel. I had 22 stone blocks, 20 planks, and 35 sticks. I needed a door... I thought to myself. I quickly pulled out the workbench and arranged 6 planks all next to each other in the shape of a door. Voila! A door! I grabbed it and placed it at the entrance right as the sun was about to set. Soon I would have to hide. I started to realize that everything I need to make I could just make the shape of it and I would get it. I thought of what to do next, and then I thought I need light! Wood makes light doesn't it? I ran outside, grabbed 10 blocks of wood, and came back inside. I rubbed this small black stone I got from some gravel against the sticks and wood and boom, I had a small fire. I took two sticks, conjoined them together, and lit one end, creating a torch. I placed it on the wall to have some light. I blocked off the rest of the entrance with stone and decided to lie down. It was cold but I felt accomplish. I reviewed what I had done that day; I made fire, a torch, a door, sticks, a pickaxe, a new shelter and figured out how the monsters worked. A great day. Now I have to rest.
My line of sight turned white once more, as If I was hit by a flash-bang from Call of Duty, but this, was reality... or was it… Once again, I had just ‘respawned’, as it's called by gamers, and I was in the same starting position. But there were three things wrong. The land. It was flat and all grass. Just. Grass. No clue why. MY HOUSE. Was it gone forever? Me? Forever alone? I saw I had every item available to me. Anything. Rock, cobblestone, dirt, wood and a bunch other I could not comprehend. The last thing that was amiss was this giant dome shaped building in the distance. I started to walk, then run, faster and faster. It got closer over time but still impossible distant. Then it got hazy. This blackness closing around my eyes. BAM. I fell back. Repelled by a force. I landed terribly wrong. I felt paralyzed. Couldn't move nor get up. Stuck. In this ground. But something happened, but was it for better, or worse? The black screen came once again. I saw my body in third-person. I waited to respawn but nothing happened. So I waited and waited. Nothing. Then I see it shimmering in the distance like the haze off the road on a hot summer day. That man that horrible looking man! Crossing this mysterious river ever so slowly... closer and closer...
I woke up. STARTLED. In front of me was the person who shook me awake. He was young, a bit short, and stocky. He looked to about my age but his muscles were so defined that it looked like he could survive alone. He had a small mysterious scar thru his eyebrow. His eyes were green to match his light brown hair. His hair was short and spiked up in the front with water.
Me: AHH. What happened?!
Him: I don't know?! I woke here this morning and the saw you falling out of the sky. I heard an explosion from down here though. But you were asleep and you were going crazy so I woke you up. My name is Spike by the way.
I guess that explains the hair, but what about where we are. I finally took a good look at my surroundings. All sand. We were covered with water on all ends. There was a few small trees in the center with my old house to the side. It was remade with planks but he covered the door with one block, like how I did, so he must have also been new. There was a boat on the shoreline and a mountain to the left.
Me: I just woke up from a HORRIBLE dream. I woke up in the middle of nowhere. There was a huge dome in front of me! But this scary ghoulish man was walking towards me and then it all turned white. I've been in this world for around 3 days now. When you die you usually come back alive but this time it took a bit longer cause of that strange dream.
Spike: *Humph* Weird. I fixed that house over there with these planks I found lying around near a crater. Then I went bed last night and found you over here. What now?
I then explained to Spike about wood, planks, sticks, doors, pickaxes, crafting, fire, skeletons and creepers.
Spike: Whoa. That's a lot for just 2 days! I’m glad I found you!
Me : Yeah. Well it seems to be about noon so let's go hunt some pigs and get some food for tonight.
Spike : Sure thing Darren !
We crafted another boat and headed to the mountain. We got about four pork chops from the pigs and some leather from cows. But somehow peculiar happened. We reached the top of the mountain when Spike exclaimed -
Spike : WOAH! What's this?!
Me : Let me see! One second!
I reached the top and there was a massive dark passageway leading to unknown adventures. Using a technique I've always wanted to try, I took some dirt and built straight up, to create a beacon of where the passage was. (reword<---)
Me : It looks quite scary down there. I created a signal to show us where to go when we would like to explore it.
Spike : Smart idea. Well, it's around sunset now, let's head back.
So, we took our boats and sailed off toward the orange haze from the sunset.
