I have installed mods before using mod loader and have gotten them to work. Ever since the 1.3 update I have never gotten them to work. It will just give me a black screen right after I sign in. I have narrowed it down to either the mod it's self or the. I can play minecraft with the modloader and audio mod. But if I add a mod the way that I know and/or is in the read-me I cannot play. If I add just the mod its fine. The only mods I have tried to use are v5 mods from Risugami's mods. Nothing else.
So I was working on my server yesterday and the power turned off. On my server I had a giant statue of a two giant buildings, a giant tree, and my home. () So back to the power turning off. When I rebooted my computer it said "windows did not shut down properly." And wanted me to choose how to start it. This has happened to me before, but I would always be on that world but I would just be like if I died. I loose everything I had and go back to the spawn point. But with this world it started my in an entierly new world. Is there any way to fix this?
I am trying to make a mod for a backpack but I need to wait for an updated version of the mod creater. How I want to set it up is so you put it on your torso and press B to get a 6x9 or a 3x9 storage storage space. Would I be able to do that or is it not possible? I have windows 7 and have been working to get a working server made from hey0's mod. I have successfully made several servers just to screw around on. I tried to have a friend join the server but he just gets some error mesage saying something like "unable to connect. Timed out." I have port 25565 forwarded, have wired high speed internet, and have made my ip static. (note: I have not tried to get him on after I made my ip static.) I have a great computer, just got it a few months ago. It has a 2terabyte harddrive and the latest nvidia graphics card. So I doubt it could be my computer. I also have an at&t/2wire router which I use to connect to the internet. If you know how to fix this some help would be much obliged.
I have an smp server made by hey0's mod and have recently gotten the newest version. I noticed that a few of the commands have either changed or dissapeared. To get items I now have to type in /give [player] [id] [number] instead of just typing in /i [id] [number]. I also noticed that I can't set my home or change the time of the world. If I try any of those in the actual server command it will say unknow consle command. How can I fix this?
