I tried making a mob, but something appears to be wrong with the texture.

I need help as soon as possible. My sister's birthday is next week and I'm trying to surprise her by adding ducks into her game. I really don't want to sound pushy or rude by asking so many times, but I don't have much of a choice.
Same problem here. The game runs with the Custom Mob Spawner in the mods folder, but it is not appearing in the "mods" tab in the startup menu, leading me to believe that it is not actually installed. Once I install a mod that depends on Custom Mob Spawner, Minecraft will reach the Mojang splash screen and freeze, never display the menu.
Hello, I was wondering if it would be possible for you to make an option in the config file to change the button you use to open the controls. I am on a laptop and I would love to use this mod but when I press F6, it won't work because I am on laptop.
Hmm, that's really weird. Did you try increasing their spawn weights?
I think I just found what I was doing wrong. I was unaware that the mob settings are specific to each save, so I had adjusted them in a flat-world and expected the changes to apply when I created a new save with default generation. What I've done now is copied the spawning configuration file in the flat-world and replaced the one in the new save. This should work, yes?
EDIT: It works.
DOUBLEEDIT: One more thing: Monsters that by default only spawn at night have been spawning during the day since I installed this mod. Is this a bug?
I have a question. I'm using Davidee's Mob Spawning Control mod in conjunction with the Twilight Forest mod to make Twilight Forest creatures such as deer and squirrels spawn in my over-world forests. Unfortunately, this does not seem to be working. I'm not sure if this is caused by the Twilight Forest mod (Are the mobs specifically coded to not spawn in the over-world despite another mod trying to make them?) or Davidee's Mob Spawning Control mod, so I've made a similar post in Davidee's topic.
So, my question is: What is causing this and how can it be overcome?

If you are going to add some big mammals. Lets say, Elephants. How about tat they only spawn in Savannas from ExtraBiomesXL for example? So that all mobs that you can't find a good vanilla biome for only spawn in ExtraBiomesXL biomes(configurable).
Exactly what I was thinking! There's nothing wrong with having Extrabiomesxl exclusive mobs as long it can be disabled and enabled, and I'd much rather have that than African animals spawning in my plains. (I feel the plains are sort of like a pasture for cows and such, not a savanna.)

Will beaver-griefing/building be toggle-able through a configuration file, at least?
