Yeah I thought of that after I made the post. (sadface) It would be wicked cool tho, huh! lol Anyways, I gave ya props for the props file but i'd like to suggest making a small readme included in the package telling people to put it in the /.minecraft folder. It took me a sec to figure out why I still had an ID conflict...hehe. Some of the "less-experienced" out there might have a hard time trying to figure it out.

No, actually the torch block is my third, and the puff block is my second. I made another mod that made ores light up, but now I think that's a bit too simple. :tongue.gif:
The torch block look pretty cool. It has the potential to be absolutely incredible I think. I'm looking forward to trying it out. Suggestion tho; add a simple txt file or props file to allow the ID to be changed. Especially if you add more textures (hence more blocks). (just checked, you already did this. for being a step ahead) Also, maybe sometime down the road, you could possibly make a "space-saving' version that doesn't add the torch to the top, but "inside" the block. Picture glass, and when you apply redstone power to it, a torch appears inside and it lights up. That would be epic! As for now, I think its a great lil addition. Keep up the good work and I hope to see this expand in the future.

CARPENTERCRAFT
This is my first mod to actually add more than one block/item.
So this adds a couple of new blocks:
Sanded wood
Exactly what it says it is. It's wood that's been sanded using sandpaper. Drops SawDust.
Turned planks
Again, exactly what it says it is.
Turned logs
...
Birch+Pine planks
Yep! Time to create a better looking floor!
And a couple of new items:
Wrench
Used to turn planks and logs.
Sand paper
used to sand wood.
SawDust
Again... exactly what it says it is.
I know there are mods out there that add this (minus the wrench and sawdust maybe) but mine are unique. You don't CRAFT sanded wood, you right click on wood with sand paper and it automatically sands the wood! The same with the wrench, you right click on planks/logs and they are turned.
SawDust can be crafted by putting planks in the crafting grid. it gives you 4 sawdust, and you can craft 2 wood back if you take 9 sawdust and put it all on the crafting table.

This is the most complex block I have made so far. When you right click it with seeds, it will eventually give you an item back! ALTHOUGH it has limited uses(10) and requires a diamond to craft, as it's basicly an item spawner and I needed to balance it out.

TORCH BLOCK
This adds a new block to the game. You know some of those blocks that light up when you apply redstone to them? Mine's like that... exept... it makes a torch appear above the block whenever you apply redstone to it! Images
This block will emit a puff of smoke when you right click it!

Where = Redstone, and = coal

look at the video for an example of a chimney. I put a redstone torch right behind the puff block (if you saw that one block that didn't have snow on it, if you dug that you would reveal a redstone torch.) so that it emitted smoke contiuisly.
here is a picture of my clay and brick factory.
also, could it spew just a tad more soot partials? It seems to be putting out the same as fire.
I liked the way it worked in you 1st demonstration video.

Well, the video is actually way outdated, that's my fault for not uploading a new video. It's been fixed to emit smoke more like the torch.(I'll probably have a video uploaded soon)
