Extreme Survival Pack creates a new way to progress in modded survival, and is packed with drastic changes to recipes, item tiers, and basic mechanics like hunger. Progressing is a lot harder, and requires starting multiple mods simultaneously.

MineTweaker, ContentTweaker and ModTweaker. Info on all the mods can be found below.

WARNING: This modpack is recommended for experienced Minecraft players. It is challenging, and you may experience anxiety, rage, and depression if you are a noob. We are not responsible for any damage caused to personal belongings by creepers. No previous mod experience required, but some basic knowledge is recommended.
Main Features:
Thirst is now a thing.
Hunger goes down fast, and creating food becomes harder
You need a variety of foods to stay saturated
Mods have gained a serious AI and HP buff
Vanilla tools and vanilla-like tools are disabled
Ore processing can only be done via the Smeltery, Infernal Furnace, or the Redstone Furnace
Added 5x5 crafting for machines and such
Botania and Thaumcraft nerfed and need to be progressed together
Nether has become extremely late-game
Changes to recipes from many mods and vanilla minecraft to make things harder
Unzip the modpack in any location and copy the folder address (the folder you need contains folders like "mods", "config", and "scripts")
Open a new minecraft profile by clicking "new profile" in the launcher
Check "game directory" and paste the address you copied earlier
Under "version", choose the forge version you installed earlier
Check JVM arguments and paste something like these (works only with 64-bit java)
Recommended for 8GB RAM: -Xmx3G -XX:PermSize512m -XX:MaxPermSize1536m
Recommended for 16GB RAM: -Xmx6G -XX:PermSize512m -XX:MaxPermSize1536m

Server Files Download and How-To:
Open a new folder and remember its location
Download forge server from the 1.7.10 installer here (v10.3.4.1614). Make sure you install to your server folder.
Download the modpack server files from here and extract them into your server folder (Make sure you extract them directly in the folder and not in another folder called "Survivalmods" )
Run Start.bat and wait for it to crash
Open eula.txt and change the "false" to "true"
Run Start.bat and enjoy
(If others cannot connect to your server, you need to setup hamachi or port-forwarding)
