All you have to do is point it to the folder in the server.properties under "level-name," but it has to be a relative path. For example, I have a Test Server in a folder on my Desktop:
level-name=../../AppData/Roaming/.minecraft/saves/New World
"../" will go back a directory, if you're unfamiliar with this sort of thing.
Is there any way to change the directory for the world used by a server? I'd like to keep my singleplayer world in the same path (.minecraft/saves) to use for the server so I don't have to manually update the multiplayer world.
I spent the whole day collecting flowers because I thought they were gems to level up. When night came I was freaked out by all the monsters and quit. Nobody had told me there were things that could kill you..
What's stopping you from hosting your own server? It's surprisingly easy. http://wiki.bukkit.o...ing_up_a_server
Edit: Didn't realize this was moved into the hosting requests section.
It's a sand wave. Here's a full video:
This was way back before pistons were put into the game and there was just a user created mod which could launch mobs, players, items, and other physical things. The current pistons cannot do these things but this up to date mod fixes that. http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1469574-132-enhanced-pistons-v10-launching-pistons/
