Forge and FML is fine - its something related to how the Technic/Tekkit launcher works. It works fine with a vanilla install, so I'm not concerned as I do not support Technic/Tekkit.
Optifine has actually caused ALOT of errors with thaumcraft, including previous versions I think

Azanor did not give them permission to publicly distribute the mod as far as I know

drama? no drama about it. The Technic pack outright stole the mods. They didn't have permission to re-publish bascially anything when it was first posted. Last I knew they still lacked permission for some of the mods they use.

The major forge modders have basically all been pressured into acceptance of the technic pack by the community and enticed by small donations. It sets a bad precident, and I for one won't use it either, but I won't complain if they won't.
1. I would like to see a quote from Eloraam saying she "supports" it and not just that she accepts it.
2. Even if El does support it, many of the other forge based modders don't, such as Sir Sengir of Forestry and Alblaka of IC2. It's rediculous to say you should drop all forge mods because one modder is ok with it.

Ok, to be honest I am not sure what is going on there. There are a couple of things you can try though:
The first thing I would try is to set the game to Peaceful before loading the world. There is obviously somethign gone wrong with one of the slimes, and hopefully Peaceful mode will cause the offending slime to despawn. You can switch it back to Easy/Normal/Hard after.
Another option is to update Thaumcraft to the newer version which is 1.1.1 atm (You have 1.0.2). It is fairly simply to do. Simply downloadthe newer version, and replace the old zip file in .minecraft\mods with the new one.
is it compatible with any of these mods:
- Balkons weapon mod
- Tale of Kingdoms
- Okushama's friend mod
- Okushama's okutlis mod
if they are please tell me

You can check them yourself fairly easily. If any of the mods require to you install files directly into the minecraft.jar, AND any of the mods replace the same files within the minecraft.jar chances are the mods will not work together unless they state otherwise.
You are likely to run into block id conflicts when working with several mods together. These are normally easy to fix, but the process can be tedious.
If you have some other error, then the answer is certainly no.
Look man, if you're not even going to do a decent troll, just leave. If trolls had colors, yours would be beige plaid. Take some lessons, ask around. You want to be offensive, seemingly oblivious, but very deliberate. It's not that easy, put some effort into it.

That would be true for any mod or group of mods including this one. It is hardly proof of any sort of collusion.
it is absolutely no secret that the Yogaboos (who, to prevent mix-ups, are a BAD group of Yogscast followers who bug FC about including it in Yogsbox even though Flower has stated several times that he absolutely will never give permission to anyone), not to be confused with the regular, nice, sensible Yogscast follower (have not seen any of those here), have a grudge against this mod.
Still, this is no proof that the Yogscast are in any way involved in trolling this forum/mod/author.
the reason they have a grudge is because Flowerchild said no to including it to Yogscast. and since the Yogaboos apparently take that as deep insult (based upon the average yogaboo response here), them holding a grudge is not some strange leap.

It wasn't me making the Yogscast/Kaker connection. I have been refuting it. That theory/suspicion was brought up by another.
If you're curious about the reasoning behind it, why not look back 50/100 pages ago and listen to his reasoning. Also, have you seen FC's interview with Battosay? That gives you a pretty good reason. I understand you may feel disappointed that this mod doesn't have compatibility, or isn't part of a mod pack, but that doesn't mean you should harrass the modder who makes this entirely off his own back.
