posted a message on Enchanting Horse Armor with Depth Strider
I think you should be able to enchant horse armor with Depth Strider to give your horse the ability to swim.

    Option 1:

Each level would make your horse swim for a longer amount of time. After that time is up, your horse would start sinking and you'd have to eject.

    Level I- 1 minute
    Level II- 3 minutes
    Level III- 5 minutes

If having the effect last that long seems unnecessary, I'd be willing to change it.

    Option 2:
    Suggested by EnderCreeper168
The time limit for all levels of Depth Strider is three minutes, and each level up reduces the amount water slows you by 1/3. Level 3 will make your horse swim as fast as it runs on land, and any level beyond that will have no effect on speed. The increased speed of each level would allow you to go further within the three-minute time limit.

There might also be a thirty-second cooldown after the three minute time limit that can be skipped if you feed your horse.

If you have an idea, please feel free to post it. All suggestions are welcome, except the stupid ones.

    Name: April
    Mob: Horse
Appearance: April might be a bit taller than your average horse. Most of her body is a bright reddish-brown except for a few white speckles and a white comma-shaped marking on her forehead, and her mane is dark and glossy. Most of the time she wears a confident smile on her face.
Personality: April is cheerful and gossipy. She tends to make lots of friends, but she’s terrible at keeping secrets.
Are you also a player of the original LAAM?: Nope
    Other: Kah-whay-ee

Thank you. Those images are already giving me some inspiration to try to make something similar. However i dont know if I will be able to build so good as this skilled builder.

You're welcome. You don't have to be able to build houses like her, just use her images for inspiration and try to expand your abilities.

I certainly see a lot of potential in the house you built. You might want to try adding depth to the exterior of your buildings with transparent blocks, making designs with things like stairs, slabs, and fences.

Here is a helpful guide that I just found. It's a little complicated, but you can kind of get an idea of depth just by looking at the pictures. Try experimenting with block placements and keep in mind your designs that look like what you want to achieve.

I know this guide was really helpful for adding details and depth. It hasn't been updated in a while, though.

This roleplay is dead, you derps :P

((And how were we supposed to know that? If you're so confident that we're idiots, maybe you should provide some evidence.))

I didn't say you were an idiot, I said you derped. I didn't mean to seem like a jerk.

As it is, this seems pretty pointless. Why would we need another easy to kill hostile mob in the game? This,

    Quote fromBadprenup»

This, but phrased in a nicer way.

Edit: To improve the idea, it could drop a second kind of Slimeball, perhaps just called a Blue Slimeball. It could be brewed into a potion of Waterwalking that obviously allows you to walk on water. Then it could be crafted into a Blue Slime Block.

The Blue Slime Block could be slippery instead of bouncy. Instead of bouncing across it you move slower on it at first, but can run faster than you can sprint once you build up speed. Could be useful for adventure maps and general home building, but here is the kicker. Blue Slime Blocks stick to other blocks like regular Slime Blocks, but the two Slime Blocks do not stick to each other. Then you can use it as a buffer in Slime Block mechanisms.

Seems like a really useful idea.
