Raynestorm server just opened on February 14th 2012. We have a dedicated staff and are looking for players to enjoy our server. Keep in mind we are new and the server population will start off low. We are currently capped at 50 players but that can change assuming we hit that limit. No Whitelist at this time. Anti-greifing tools are implemented. Please read rules carefully.

Mob Arena - Group together with friends to slay waves of monsters. Kill bosses and swarm waves! Earn rewards!
Castle Wars - Our massive pvp map that features capturing points at each castle. First team to 500 points wins.
Catacombs - Group together with friends and explore the dark depths of these dungeons.
Spleef - Classic Spleef matches.
Faction Wars - Create a faction and fight with others to gain power and glory. Also have a Faction Wars event we run.
PvP Arena - A free for all brawl to the death. Will you come out on top?

A reminder.. I have already seen a few people try to login. THIS SERVER IS RUNNING 1.5 STILL. IT will not be updated until 1.6 is more stable. Probably this weekend.
Hey all. I started hosting my own server about a week ago. THIS SERVER AT THE MOMENT IS NOT ON LATEST PATCH. Due to tons of multiplayer bugs I am waiting until Notch puts out another update. According to him he is going to be in the office tomorrow checking it out. We shall see.
In anycase I really want to open my server to the public. I have some mods installed and am open to any suggestions from the players once they are on. PVP is turned on but as 99% of the servers on here I ask that there be no griefing. If you are reported or caught griefing.. to the blacklist you go.
I am willing to start the server with NO WHITELIST for now. If to many douches get on the server and cause issues then I will move to a WHITELIST solution and ask people to sign up.
I am looking for players who want to play an RPG. I am working to make the server as RP friendly as possible.
Here are my current MODS on the server. These will likely change as more people get on and ask for new things. I am pretty flexible and if I feel it doesn't break the game then I will most likely try to implement any mod that is suggested by more than one player. I also have a specific feel for the server so if someone requests a mod that makes things go to far off that feel I will likely decline.
MOD LIST:
Appletree - This mod allows apples to spawn on tree's when your cutting them down. I have it set pretty low. You may get an apple here or there. NO GOLDEN APPLES.
Bandages - This mod allows you to use a "paper" as a bandage. This heals you for one heart and takes 4 seconds to apply. You cannot move during this time or it will cancel the effect. You can also heal others with it.
BedHealingAdvanced - This mod allows you to heal UP TO 5 hearts when you sleep. I emphasize the UP TO .. if you have 6 hearts this does nothing to heal you. But if you are under 5 hearts this heals you to 5.
KeepGrowing - This mod allows your crops to grow when you are not around. I am sorry but I would rather be stabbing monsters or creating something cool than watching plants grow. This is why this is implemented :biggrin.gif:
NaturalGiants - This just allows for giant zombies to spawn. It is a really low spawn rate and they are really hard to take down. Do not attempt solo.
Rifts - I use the Rifts class/level/spell system. I do not use the 3 separate worlds that default rifts use.
SimplyAwaySleep - This mod allows users to sleep at night when other users on the server are AFK. This way if someone has been gone for hours people are still able to sleep. Pretty self explanatory.
Interesting Places - This mod gives you a /who and tells you who is on the server and where... It also allows you to name areas. Please use this responsibly. Only use around your buildings. DO NOT MARK STARTING AREA.
I have almost finished the setup so that you can look at the worldmap off the website. This just will let you see where other stuff is built if you want to explore. With the new patch there is in game world maps now which is nice but as I said.. right now still running old version.
