Anyway, I'm going to make a deal with my mom when she gets home. If she gets better internet, I will pay half of the cost for it each month, which would make it cheaper for her then the current internet.

I asked her as politely as I could, I've told her it isn't worth it and I actually have offered to pay about half the cost per month.

I have absolutely TERRIBLE internet. What our provider says it is is around .5 MB/s download speed and 1 MB/s. The truth is that the fastest I have seen it download anything was 256 KB/s. Right now I just bought Guild Wars 2, and let me tell you, it is taking an eternity to download. I bought it last night and left the computer on and when I woke up it was only 18% downloaded. EIGHTEEN PERCENT. Worst of all, I've seen the ping reach 996 during many counter strike games. I've told my mom MANY times in the past how horrible this internet is, and she honestly doesn't give a crap because she doesn't play anything. And yet she still complains about how slow it is from time to time loading websites. I just can't seem to convince her. All she has to do is pay 10 more dollars a month and it will go from the kilobytes per second download speed well into the megabytes. Anybody have advice to convince her?

I've had that game since I was 3 in 2003... Or something like that I really don't remember when I got it but it was a long while ago and I LOVED IT SO MUCH I STILL PLAY IT TO THIS DAY. It practically tells the story of my childhood.

I recently got a very good HP laptop for christmas. HP Envy 15t-j000 Quad Edition. It has a 4th gen i7 processor, 8 gb RAM, NVIDIA GeForce GT 740m graphics card, 1 TB hard drive, and a 720p display. Of course, I customized it for the graphics card. It works well. I got it on black friday so don't go on the website and come back here yelling "HOLY CRAP $$$$."

So I'm getting my new laptop soon and I'm looking to buy some new games for it with the prices I can buy them at while I can. I'm going to buy the games on the computer I have right now and download them onto my laptop when I get it. I have two plans.

Plan 1-Arma III and Portal 2

Plan 2-Portal, Portal 2, Counter-Strike: Source+Garry's Mod, The Stanley Parable, Reus, Terraria, and Counter-Strike: GO.

If you have any suggestions I will openly consider them.

Anyway come back when you are ready to order, prices fluctuate far too frequently, so anything we recommend you now will likely be a much worse by the end of the week by the time Black Friday comes around new hardware will have launched altering things further
