Just wondering, is the server difficulty set to easy? It seems like there isn't enough mobs spawning at night. Would be nice if the difficulty could be bumped up a bit.
It's set to easy, but I feel the server is more about getting resources, trading, and building with others. Also, difficulty doesn't affect quantity does it? Not sure.

Q: Why would you like to join this server? Looks interesting. I'm not big on whitelists, but it happened to have everything I want from a server. These perks exist in others, but I'm just getting back into MC.

Q: Any other things that might help us accept you? Not really. I'm pretty enthusiastic when I meet new people. A form isn't exactly the perfect method of measuring someone up. Follow directions well if I don't feel I'm being ordered around.

The entire top-level domain .tk is down for some reason. You gotta use the direct IP to connect. The server is still up. Try 80.202.254.124 instead.
