I think I'd prefer a server enabled version in multiplayer -- one where each player picked their own model and everyone else saw it. That ways I could see other how other players wanted to be see / the identity they chose for the game.

posted a message on Twilight Forest Server?
I was setting up and play-testing one last week, but ran into some hosting problems -- Twilight Forest, Atmos Mobs, and Jammy's Furniture, actually; I may try again later with what I've learn. Post if I do.

two words "bad idea" cuz I hate Twilight, but still good luck

This gets its name from the time of day / light conditions twilight, like between night and day or the edge of night -- its a basically a dark fantasy faerie world, full of wild animals, wicked gnomes, various skeletal creature, ruins, etc. -- it has nothing to do with the twilight books / movies. There are no vampire, werewolves, and mentally unstable young girls in it.

How can I get this to work with other dimensions besides Overworld? -- so far it doesn't even seem to be generating The Nether (which I would like), and I'd really like it to be generating Twilight Forest (because some of its structures are slow to generate in-game). I love being able to generate my main world this way, avoiding world-generation lag during play, but really want to generate all dimensions that go with it. Thanks.

Source code, wow! Thanks -- I've been wanting to see more about how these mods really work, play with some of the code, and maybe learn to mod some of this kind of stuff myself. =D

posted a message on Mo' Creatures - v12.0.0 for Minecraft 1.12.1!! Now Opensource!!
Liked the mod but had to uninstall because it slowed my slow antique even more (reverse the gains made from optifine). It does seem to have a bit of a bug in the settings controlling how "vanilla" mobs are spawned -- if set to "not change vanilla spawns" it doesn't spawn vanilla hostiles at all, while not changing the spawn systems seems to prevent spawning the new neutral / animal mobs (even in new worlds)..

Also, not sure how or if it interacts with AtmosMobs -- minecraft runs with both, and some atmosmobs appear, but not all types or as many (hard to tell since there is overlap in the creature types and you can't always find the mob of your choice naturally spawned quickly or one demand anyway).

If I ever get a computer that can handle Minecraft in all its glory I'll being playing with these creatures.
