posted a message on Why I don't use default textures.
    Quote from Boundegar

That texture isn't too different from Default. It looks nice.

I don't use textures because, for me, it makes the game unplayable, Suddenly I don't know what anything is any more, and even my chests look all weird inside. When my life depends on split-second timing, it's just too distracting.

But I downloaded Jolicraft for adorable screenshots.

That is exactly why I didn't use texture packs for quite a while, but then I found faithful 32x32 and I fell in love. It's basically the default textures in 32x32.

posted a message on Minecraft SUCKS
Wow, I'm surprised people STILL don't realize that nobody cares what you think of the game. I have no problem with you thinking that the game is an rpg, we are all entitled to our own opinion. What annoys me is that everyone keeps posting it all over the forums. Please keep your thoughts to yourself, it is getting old and we are sick of it.

It would be great if you could leave some feedback on what you thought of the story, and vote on the poll above.
    Thanks!

    Prologue:

The iron bars creaked and groaned as the beast tried to escape. It had nearly broken though, soon it would escape and terrorize the land. Warriors surrounded the beast, trying to fend it off with their swords. This only made the beast more angry. Soon cracks were appearing in the bars, It had nearly escaped! The warriors screamed in terror, and started to run away. But it was too late, it had already broken free. The men had no chance.
    This was the Enderdrake

    Chapter 1: The Enderdrake Srikes
I woke with a jolt. All around me I could hear people screaming and crying in terror. Then I heard a noise that chilled me to the bone, a deafening roar. My room shook wildly like I was in an earthquake, and I was thrown out of bed onto my cold stone floor. I slowly managed to get to my feet, shaking all over. Stumbling over to my window, I gazed out at the horrible scene before me. Buildings around me were crushed and destroyed, with what was left of them burning to ash. I quickly realized that I could be the next victim to whatever was causing this destruction. I grabbed my stone sword and rushed out the door, trying to find some sort of safety. Frightened Men and women ran around me, obviously not caring where they were running to, as long as it was anywhere but here. Another roar rang out through the night, followed by a flash of bright light that I figured must have been fire. I turned my head towards the source of the light, and my heart stopped. There, standing in front of me was the most destructive and feared monster in all of minecraftia, the Enderdrake. Time stopped as I stared at the monster, I couldn't take my eyes of it as the dragon turned its head at looked straight at me. It seemed to look right into my soul, I couldn't breathe, I couldn't see anything around me except for the Enderdrake's horrible form. My brain was screaming "RUN!", But my legs just would not move. I was in a trance, staring at the dragon as it stared back at me. Then something caught my eye, amongst a group of men trying to fend of the dragon, was my father. "DAD!" I screamed. He looked at me and shouted "Jim! There is no time to spare, you must get out of here!". I watched as he jabbed at the beast, I could tell he did not have long before he would loose his life. "I cant, not without you!" I shouted back. Dad looked at me with a look of terror and sadness in his eyes. "Don't worry about me, I'll be fin-" He didn't even have time to finish his sentence before the Enderdrake snapped him up in his sharp jaws, gone forever. I turned away and ran into the darkness of the night, tears welling up in my eyes.

Chapter 2: Dangers of the night.
I ran through the darkness of the night, my vision blurred by by the tears that had formed in my eyes. I was too distressed by what I had just witnessed to think about where I was going. All I knew was that the horrible beast that had killed my father was behind me, and I didn't want to be anywhere near it. As I stumbled into the dark, mysterious forrest, I started to notice strange sounds all around me. Bones clatering, Groans of pain and hissing. I urged myself to run faster, thinking that I could escape from the creatures surounding me. I kept running and running through the forrest, leaves whipping against my face, leaves crunching under my feet. Then, all of a sudden I felt a horrible pain in my ankle as it caught on a tree root, and I was thrown face first down onto the muddy ground. I screamed in agony, the pain from my ankle was extending all the from my ankle and up along my leg. Tears formed in my eyes once more, however the pain in my ankle was starting to subside. I came to a quick decision that I had to find some sort of safety from the monsters that lurked about in the night. I started to dig a hole in the ground, forming a small cove that I could hide in for the night. It wasn't long before I had a half decent base formed, so I grabbed my sword and hopped in. I covered the opening back over with some dirt, and sat in the darkness listening to the crepy noises outside. All I could think of was my father, the image of him being eaten by the Enderdrake was stuck in my head. I sobbed all through the night untill day arrived, the image of my father dying and the horrible sounds around me made it impossible to sleep. When day did finally arrive, I decided that I had to go back too the village and see if there were any survivors. I slowly trecked back to the scene of destruction, easily found by the smoke coming off all the buring buildings. My ankle still hurt a little, but I managed to walk without too much trouble. Once I got back to the village, I looked around me and found that everything had been completely destroyed. A quick scan of the area confirmed that there was no sign of life, either everyone had escaped or they were all dead. However, as I was walking through the wrecked buildings, something caught my eye. I focused in on it and found that it was a small bit of paper flapping around in the wind. It appeared to have some writing on it, and was also half burnt. I walked forward to pick up the note, hoping that it would have some helpfull information on it.

Chapter 3: The note (And some bacon!)

The note was slightly burnt, for obvious reasons. It was tinged yellow and covered in blood stains, I shuddered at the thought of what happened to the writer of this note. I considered that the note must be very important; who in their right mind would scribble on a bit of paper while fending of the most deadly monster in the entire world? The note read:

Dear to whoever may be reading this:
If you are reading this note, I am probably already dead. The enderdrake has escaped, and we are all doomed. It will tear apart the world, unstoppable. Our only thread of hope is that you will be able to find the beast's only weakness, and use that to defeat it. I do not know what this is, however I do know where you might find the answer. You must go north until you reach Clermont Village, and find a book that explains everything about the dragon. Don't worry, you will know it when you see it. The book can be found in the building right across from th-

The rest of note had been burnt off from the enderdrake's fire. "Noooooooo!!!" I screamed, smashing my foot against a bit of rubble in anger. I instantly realized that I had used my damaged foot, and pained flared up in my ankle once more. I fell to the ground and grabbed my ankle, groaning in pain. I looked over the note once more, hoping that there was some small but important detail that I had missed. But there was nothing, the location of the world-saving book was nowhere to be seen. "Why Notch! Why!" I shouted, looking into the sky. "How am I meant to find the book now?!" There was no answer, so I was left alone with the answer to saving Minecraftia so close, yet so far.

I struggled back to my feet, frustrated and confused. I stuffed the note into my pocket and looked around, trying to locate my room. But it was useless, everything looked the same; Destroyed and burnt to a crisp. "What now?" I thought. My father was dead, and my mother probably was too. I had a note telling me to go north and find a book, even though I didn't know which building to find it in. After a while of thinking through my options, I decided on going north and trying to find the book. What did I have to loose anyway?

Barely a few steps had been taken before I realized a suppressing issue, I was hungry. I looked around me and located a lone pig, just asking to be eating. The pig snorted as if to say "Dont eat me!" as I walked up to it with my sword in hand. I thrusted my sword into the pig's underbelly, and it screached in anger. The pig attempted to escape, but I was too fast for it. I brought the flat of sword down onto its head, knocking it unconscious. I looked at my soon to be delicious meal of bacon, and smiled to myself. At least something was finally going right. The sharp edge of my stone sword sliced easily through the pig, and I soon had a few pieces of bacon in my hands. At this point I decided that I would need something to put these in, I couldn't just cary it in my hands all day. I looked around me a located a half burn backpack, which would do just fine. I wrapped the meat in some cloth that I found lying around and chucked it into my new backpack; I would make a new base and cook it later. Now I was set to travel north, to Clermont Village.
