Hope that works for you. I've been up all night trying to learn how to connect to servers online, and this finally worked for me. I didn't realize after changing the server IP that you had to go back and patch it as a mod. I did that and it worked!
Your 10.x.x.x IP address is an internal address and cannot be access by anyone online. Please use http://www.whatismyip.com to get your external IP address so people can connect to your server. Also, please do not bump your topic multiple times in an hour..
A 192.168 address is an internal IP address. No one is going to be able to connect to that over the Internet. You need to use http://www.whatismyip.com or something similiar to get your external IP address to give people.
Also, please use the correct forum (here) to make a MCPE Server topic.
Also also, please don't make more than one topic for the same thing within 1 day of each other. Per the rules, "Creating more than one thread per server is not allowed."

The Atari ST has a mouse and keyboard, I expect a port then seeing as no one cares about memory or graphical limits.
I see what you did there..
But you're saying that as if people are talking about porting it to a system that can't support it. I'm sure this game can be created an optimized to be playable on a DS or DSi. Given the current specs of the DS and especially the DSi (though not all of the DSi's functions can be tapped into yet), I would say it's definitely possible.
Many people here are trying to compare the DS/i's specs with the PC specs of the game, which honestly makes no sense. Minecraft would indeed need a rebuild to work properly on the DS, not only because of the graphical and memory limits, but because of what it's coded in.
This should be stickied. I'm in a server right now that has probably 8 people in the spawn jail, OPs in the server, and no one is being let out. This is getting ridiculous. Make your server private, or don't have one at all.
Right now I think I have the full list on my server. I'll be sure to edit that list once you purge yours. :smile.gif: Do other servers actually use this? I don't see anyone else with [TOL] in their server name...
I just put the finishing touches on my server, which is going to be up (almost) 24/7. It's running on a server at home that's always on, but I can't speak for the reliability of my ISP, which is why I say "almost".
Right now I have a decent-sized guest area, and the outside is restricted to builders (admin level 20). Builders are given this status by building something worthwhile in the guest area, and showing maturity in the server.
I am the only one with Server Owner status. Admins are close friends of mine, so that won't be given out probably ever, and Moderators are everyone on the TOL list.
Also, I honestly despise digging because of how messy people can make it underground without you even knowing, so I'm considering blocking digging on the whole map. It's currently just blocked in the guest area.
So let me know what you guys think, and have fun building. :smile.gif:
Well I'm just new to this, so I'm not exactly sure who all of the custom server owners are. I knew about JTE, though, and hopefully I'll catch them in IRC sometime soon to ask.
What custom server software is currently available, for either purchase or just download? I don't mean things like server scripts, but complete custom software. I'm currently using ServerOPConsole (I believe it's called), but I'm looking for something with more control.
