I know I recently stated the mod was not abandoned, but it now is. Sadly, I have decided I don't have the time for such a huge project right now. If someone else would like to make a destiny mod and use this name, you are more than welcome to. Sorry for not being able to make this mod, I know many of you were looking forward to it.
I'm fully aware of flans mod, and i love it. However, i would rather build this from the ground up as i want this to be it's own mod, not a flans mod content pack. Once this releases, if enough people request it, i may make a flans mod version, but for now, this will be it's own MC mod.
Glad to aee you're excited, and while i don't have Alpha 0 ready yet, i do have the planned features. Just keep in mind, that this is nowhere near everything in the full release, Alpha 0, is just that, the first dev build with limited features. Development hell is part of the reason this got abandoned for a while. So was lack of motivation and losing hope in ever completing it. now that the taken king changed destiny a lot plus with the second attempt gone like the first attempt, i'll be starting from scratch now that this mod has been resurrected. As for release, you can expect a very early "Alpha 0" version with a few primitive items and possibly primitive features soon. The full version will likely take much longer than I'd like it too, but such Is minecraft modding.
I am so sorry this isn't out yet, sadly, the hard drive this was on broke so I have lost all my work again. after that I abandoned the project, but after the release of the taken king, I think i'll make this mod after all. You can see update feature list on the O.C. soon. thank you for your patience and support. Also, one last thing, this will release for 1.8 likely a while after the release of 1.9. If that estimate is correct, work on a version 1.9 will begin shortly after the initial release.
Glad to hear that! Also if you like this, i'm also giving Gjallahorn wolfpack rounds when i start coding! BTW wolfpack rounds is an upgrade for gjallarhorn in destiny. When you have them, the rocket explodes into a cluster of grenades.

after about a few days work i finally have a screenshot of one of the models. this model is not in-game yet and is shown in MCanimator. also, this model is using a placeholder texture meaning that the texture used for the screenshot will be replaced. click the spoiler below to see the model for the Truth rocket launcher!
cool, i was going to work on it today, but I've been attempting to troubleshoot my Xbox One all day (not that it has anything to do with the mod, it's just i enjoy playing on it.). finally about to fix it though and i'll be doing modeling and texturing once again tomorrow!
don't expect a download anytime soon and initial release will be for 1.8. however i plan to port to older versions such as 1.7.10 not long after release.
quick update about the last word model preview. it will have to wait as i saved the model in the wrong format. however in the next few days i should be able to post a model preview of the truth rocket launcher.
