What is your favorite/preferred base/building style? I gravitate toward medieval the most. I really adore medieval / fantasy and usually stick to that. What aspect of vanilla gameplay draws you towards SMP? I really enjoy participating in group events such as dragon fights or wither fights. I also love collaborating with other people to make farms or large, beautiful builds. The building of friendships is important and I'm happy to have made the friends I have made over the years I've participated on SMP's. I have friends that I've had for years now because of them. How would you describe your ideal community/server? One where everyone respects each other and respects their builds and farms. One where people collaborate when possible to achieve big projects together but especially one where there is a whitelist and random griefers don't just come in on a whim and blow up your nether tunnels for no reason, pop in at your base and steal things and disappear. I think another aspect of a great community is one where if you're in a jam, people offer to help, whether that be from being in trouble or just stuck on an idea. Reaching out with an offer of help is a beautiful thing and one I like to do when I possibly can. Do you have any experience with Minecraft communities? I certainly do. I was on here for a bit back in the day, also on a few other servers and then I opened my own server with the advent of 1.13. That community was amazing, I first invited some old friends I had played with in the past and then recruited with the caveat that the players had to be 25+ preferably, but 21 was rock bottom minimum. That went really well for a number of years, then we had a slump where I ventured out and just allowed the server to be dormant for a bit and just played elsewhere, but eventually went back and opened the server back up with a fresh map and finally found that players didn't want to play past the point where they had all the end game gear and had gotten their wings/ killed the dragon. That's when I consider myself ready to really play. It just got tiring to fight the slumps in players being online, so on July 2nd this year, I shut my server down officially. I now have no home. Outside of Minecraft, what kinds of activities/hobbies do you enjoy? Oh my, let's see..... I love fishing, camping, chess, a few other video games. I'm much more a mountain person (I live in the mountains) than a beach person. I love a good hiking trail, especially if there's a great view to see. My movie and TV watching is limited, but I am a fan of the Lord of the Rings , Hobbit, etc. Also, I love my Star Wars.

Tell us about yourself: [/b]I'm a middle aged guy and I work in a fairly stressful environment. I enjoy Minecraft to de-stress at the end of a crazy day. I actually had a server for a period of 3 or 4 years. It was fun, but I got tired of the endless emptying of the server and constant need for recruitment after players got kitted out and considered that the end of the game. I officially shut the server down on 7/2, so I'm looking for a good home to play, explore and build. I also enjoy chess, fishing, hiking and love National Parks.
What's your favorite thing to do on a Minecraft server/world (Ex. Building/Redstone): [/b]I love to build. I really enjoy making medieval villages where there is an element of lore. It's great to have certain villagers in builds that make sense, so for instance an armorer shop with my two armorers in it. The trick is always making it so the villys can't escape lol.

Hello and welcome to Adventure Craft. This server has been open since 1.13 dropped, but was recently reset in 1.19. It's only been open about a month. We have a great group of folks from many different time zones. What we are looking for are mature players who love the game and respect other players and their builds. We have a few datapacks that allow minor tweaks, such as having a chance at a mob's head when you kill them. The server is always set to hard difficulty. We prefer to get players of 25 or older. Less than that may be discussed but 21 would be the absolute minimum. If you're interested, reply to the thread and we can chat quickly on Discord. The use of Discord is a good way to pass along information, but you don't have to be active in chat. I do want to have a quick talk with applicants in Discord and after that, how often you are in voice chat is totally up to you. All the usual applies, no hacking, griefing, stealing, etc......you know the drill. All those things result in a ban.
Why do you want to join Junicraft? Looking for a chill place to build and mine, escaping the stressful work world. I would love it if we could collab on projects. This server seems chill, I hope to find out!
What sort of player are you? (redstone, builder, explorer, etc) I would say Exploration is my main game until I find "the" spot. It's gotta be perfect, so I move around a lot til I find it. Then builder. I enjoy building but I like to make redstone farms, though with redstone I'm a start and stop YT tutorial kind of person there. Mining is my zen, when I am super stressed, mining helps and is very cathartic.
What is your main style of playing? [/b]I like to adventure until I find the "perfect spot"... then it's a matter of doing the grind until I am geared up properly. After that, it's build, build , build. I do a full villager assortment, usually at my base. Gotta have those trades. Zombie discount, etc.
What is your building style? [/b]I usually enjoy medieval builds more than anything else. Landscaping is important...... gotta make the whole area look nice.
What are you looking for in an SMP? [/b]I really enjoy camaraderie and collaboration. At the very least, I hope for people that I can talk to and have a laugh while building and enjoying a frosty adult beverage. Really, just a friendly atmosphere and hopefully a lack of huge ego and/ or annoying young folks begging for materials.
