1. No doors of any kind.
2. No barricading yourself in. There must be an open way in and out of everywhere you go. If one does not exist it must be made immediately.
3. No bed.
4. No meat.
5. no torches or jack o'lanterns
6. no mods (except Optifine, since it doesn't put anything new into the game), cheats, etc.
7. no living underground.
This is going to be fun... I think. Gotta move quickly to devise a safe house with no doors and secure food before I starve.

Been wandering around my world for the last few days just seeing the sights and I found a really high mountain in the savannah (world generated originally in 1.64 but I'm exploring chunks that are new in 1.74).
I climbed to the top of the mountain, and then to the top of the highest tree and my Y is about 213. That is the highest point I've come across in my world. I'm wondering what the highest point YOU have found in your standard non-Amplifed world.
After I'm done exploring, I think I'm going to go back and build something on top of that mountain.

so I've been playing single player survival mode for a little over a month, and as I'm sure ALL of you are aware, this game is very addictive.... Just so many different things to do, some nights I have trouble deciding on my mission.
So, found a new cave system earlier this week that seemed to have an inordinant number of creepers (more than I've come across in other caves). So I switched and restarted another uncompleted mission, to tame an ocelot...
I must have spent at least 2 hours trying to find and tame an ocelot. Got me a cat, built him a house, transported him through the nether to get over to my new cave....
Less than 10 minutes back into the cave, I was surpised by a creeper that blew up my cat!
Stupid creepers... I thought he was supposed to run from the cat!
