Oh really? I'd like to see you explain it. Go ahead, do it. Your turn kid. You're just butthurt.
If you cant do a better job at explaining it, you have no right to tell me that I have no idea what I'm talking about.
I will quote you a post from ELI5 in regards to clock speed since they explained it so well
newer processors are more efficient think of it as gas mileage. Clock rate only tells you how fast the processor is stepping but tells you nothing of what the processor actually gets done with each step. If processor A does 2 instruction per clock cycle and processor B can do 4 per clock cycle than processor B can literally be ran at half the speed of A and still be faster in terms of doing work. That's why newer processor are faster than your laptops. Yes increasing the clock rate is a way to increase performance but it's the lazy mans way and it comes with draw backs. Increasing clock rate increases heat / power consumption and decreases stability. So the real goal for the processor companies is to make their newer processors more efficient.
Lastly, it is likely that a newer processor has more cores than your 7 year old laptop and programs that are coded to use multiple cores will run much faster than they do on a single core." -HeavyDT
this was an answer in regards to why an old laptop with 3GHz is slower then newer laptops with 1.5Ghz processors
So, unless you know the actual inner workings of how the WiiU runs, you can't just compare the clock speed of one machine to another and say which one is better.
Also, the PS3 had 256MB of ram for everything and the WiiU has 1GB for games and 1GB for system functions so I dont see how that works in any way towards your point.
Comparing specs between two different pieces of hardware isn't very helpful because each system uses their resources differently. That's how the PS3 can have 256MB of ram and play games that you might ned 2-4GB of ram for on the PC, they just aren't comparable.
When you are making games for a game console, you specifically design it for that hardware, this means you can get away with a lot more quality with a lot less resources.

you do know that different people work on different things, right? So what you are saying is "have the guy who designs new and interesting things sit there and play wow all day until the game is done!"
I'm pretty sure no more or less would be done in terms of polishing if they didnt add the pointless things that keep this game interesting

I follow him on twitter and this is so true... I'm surprised you're the only one to say this.
"Just got done adding a new flower... I really need a vacation! Guess I'm going on a cruise! but don't worry, I'll have my laptop with me and work on the game more while on it!" 12 hours later) "Well! looks like I forgot my laptop! oh well! *plays 3DS instead*"
