Name?: Oliver IGN: gubbenmedhatten Previous works(NEEDED): Admin on a server http://tinypic.com/v...?pic=4htctu&s=6 but they dont have prefix's. I also tried making my own server a couple of times but the permissions failed Timezone, Hours a day you can play: Public Holidays/Weekends UTC +12 hours Little about yourself: A have played minecraft for a few years now and ive gotten both my sisters into it. I play whenever I can Age: 13 and extremely mature
You wouldn't be on enough to even consider. Sorry, but not accepted.
I'll have the server back up tomorrow if you'd like to get online. I'll whitelist you in the morning. Can't garauntee I'll be on all day, but hopefully most of the day haha. We have an area set up for people to "compete" so to speak with their building. Looking forward to it!
Alright, sounds good. I hope my style is appealing enough.
IGN: Sheathed Age: 17 Skype: alexis_rawr_rawr Time Zone: CST Hours per week you play: Varies, but oft a LOT. Hours during which you are active: 6PM-??? CST for the most part.
Servers you play on or have played on: Ravenkraft
Previous server experience (staff/build/etc.): Owner x1, Co-Owner x3, Admin x7, Mod x4 (or so?), Builder x2
And sadly I have no references seeing as I quit a year++ ago and with that lost all contact.

I can easily start building if wanted to give examples of my styles. I don't have much else to say because I don't exactly believe that someone can be proven through what they write, but rather how they act in-game. What looks good on paper might be a catastrophe in the real thing.
Builder Application- *Needed

*Age (It doesn't matter to me, just be mature.): 17
Previous Work (Pictures): N/A, last time I played was over a year ago and I since then wiped all pictures
Extra Information: ty computer right now, so I'll have a low FPS. Unique building style, so I'll have to know what style the server will be. Natural leader.
A way to communicate off of Minecraft that is available to you: Skype (alexis_rawr_rawr)
Plugins you will want: Depends on the style, but possibly DirtShovel.
Server Experience: Been Owner, Co-Owner, Admin & Mod many times before I quit a while ago.
Job Applying for Experience: Been Admin around 7 times in my MineCraft career.
(if applying for mod, admin, dev. Tell me how having you as a major staff member on the server will benefit in short term progression, and long term progression): I'm active, have good leadership skills and can lead both factions & projekts, and have a level head for the most part. Mature & patient, I'll be able to keep the server under control almost single-handedly. Not to mention I'm pretty well-off at building (and collecting -cough-).
(If applying for Mod, Admin, How would you handle a raving mad racist user spamming in chat and in ventrillo): Give a warning, if they don't heed it then simply temporarily ban them. If that doesn't work, permanent ban.
Was looking towards applying for mod, as I've currently been lurking the server (it's so lonely Dx) but apparently your site doesn't exist (Craftville.us). :/
IGN: Sheathed Experiences: Mod x4, Admin x7, Co-Owner x2, Owner x1 Skype: PM me for it. Time Zone: CMT How much hours are you able to play a day?: Varies. Would you call yourself a happy, over achieving, nice, fun, and able to handle little kids (not banning an annoying kids)?: As long as they don't spam or grief, I could care less about hanging with little kiddies. Why should I pick you?: Lots of expierience as both a staff member AND as a builder, I'm on more often than not and I can lead projekts with ease.
Modern, partly-above-ground-mostly-underground house. Have the wall upstairs facing the drop be sheer glass, from the pictures it looks like it has an illusional effect of just being a small hole.
Yeah I didn't think about that. That's a really good idea but it's a bit late now xD The way that I am doing it is fine and quite quick!
I'm not sure because I am planning to put districts into this and I want the poorer districts to have leaks and stuff but the rich ones not to so I'm just going to make the richer ones two blocks thick so that no water leaks through! But thanks for the suggestion!
That sounds great. I'l see what I can do with the blocks you have suggested! and I agree that it just looks tacky right now but could you say where I should put detail like these? I don't really know where these would fit in but I will try my best to do it!
I kind of like this better but I have a feeling its a bit too much netherbrick any opinions?
You got the right idea, but... let me try to give an idea:
Cut off with all the Redstone Lamps. There's way too many. Instead, try this:
Where there are doorways to other sections, put a potted plant there (Dirt Block with Trapdoors on all sides but top, Oak Leaves Block on top), then place a Redstone Lamp next to them, facing either away from the doorway or in the entrance to the doorway. Then replace the Redstone Lamps that (were) on the ceiling with something light. Black Wool, Dark Blue Wool..
Replace the Redstone Lamps that're in the Blue Wool and use something that has an "Ocean" colour to it. Dark Green Wool, Dark Blue Wool, even Glass if it's just water underneath, with the current Blue Wool.
In larger areas that allow the space, place some fountains made out of Lapis Lazuli with a Glass flooring. Underneath, perhaps place a layer of stagnant magma - it looks nice, gives an effect and gives off a faint glow that makes the fountains look that much better. Outline the fountain with the Netherbrick.
Another suggestion is perhaps, where you believe there is too much glass in a room, replace a specified amount with Netherbrick and then put a painting up, outlining the painting with Netherbrick.
My final current suggestion is getting a texture pack -- you will honestly see a HUGE difference and it will make everything look a lot better. Suggestions for 'packs would be Dokucraft, Loafcraft or even JohnSmith. All have their advantages and disadvantages, but all make your builds look 600% better compared to 'nilla pack.
EDIT: One last suggestion: In areas where there are huge spots open, use Sand Blocks to make a multi-storied decoration, then cover the top of the blocks with either Sugarcane or Oak Leaves Block. When, make a outline of the first level of it with White Wool. It makes for a cute yet modern decoration.
1. How long have you played Minecraft?: Few months? Don't remember... 2. Location: USA. 3. Age: Sixteen. 4. Amount of time you spend playing weekly?: Too much to be considered healthy. 5. Do you have a mic/use TeamSpeak?: No. And I never plan on it, either. 6. Have you ever been banned or kicked from a server?: Twice, once due to questioning the Owner (Owner turned out to be extremely immature), and once due to telling somebody off for completely disregarding the rules. 7. Pictures(if any) of your greatest builds and/or any other info about yourself you feel like sharing!: I don't keep pictures, however I am a skilled builder and will often build Island Houses. 8. Finally your IGN(In Game Name): Sheathed

Same with the inside, only real defining colour is the translucent-blue from the water.

Since you aren't using a texturepack, it'd be better to use Redstone Lamps. They look better overall and can be controlled if wanted.
For block suggestions...
