    and another question: is it possible to activate the slime-chunk-overlay on my SMP-server (obviously i've got the seed, thus manual input would be possible). switching back and forth between SP with same seed or 3rd party programms annoys me, thus i'd love to have it intgrated into the minimap.

    Prettymuch this. Where is loginmessage.txt supposed to be located? If we edit the CLASS files (In theory) can we override the default string?

    I probably get this error, because Java is like everything else, you can't decomple it very easily...
    "The Class File Viewer cannot handle the given input ('org.eclipse.ui.ide.FileStoreEditorInput')."
    There goes my notion of editing the class files...

    posted a message on [1.4.6] BC-IC2 Crossover Mod v2.0 (For BC 3.3.0 and IC2 1.112) [SSP/SMP]
    Running the latest available versions of IC2 and BC2. The Petrochemical Generator in Single Player crashes the game, Black screen.
    You literally need to remove the Petrochemical Generator with a map editor to resume. And with MC, that's not quite easy. Here's what I've got installed.

    EDIT: The crash occurrs after you place it in the world, but before the item is removed from inventory. Removing the block from the world, I noticed I still had the petrochem in my inventory.

    Hey there,

    I love the mod. We'd probably kill for SMP support.

    I've been playing with the mod a bit in Creative, as I have IC2 and Buildcraft installed as well as Redpower and the like. I'm not really expecting things to work 100% A-OK, but with all of the vanilla stuff, aside from bad collision, The Air ship mod works pretty amazingly well.

    Great job man!! This mod is absolutely amazing! Don't stop working on it!

    I'm also letting you know, as well as anyone else interested, I'm working on an idea for a tanker, it looks like Buildcraft tanks (as well as IC2's Iron furnace, but no GUI) work, along with Buildcraft Pipes (Buggier tho) The only major problem with them is that the textures are way off, but again, considering the complexity of the mod, this is totally understandable. However, when trying to create a craft with a redstone engine, the game crashes, and the zeppelin is lost.

    I'm not asking to support the slew of Mods I'm running, as that's going to be an insane amount of work, but perhaps, as an idea, to save the potential loss of work when creating a zepplin, perhaps save the blocks in Minecraft's format before it creates the ship. If creation is failed (exception is thrown) Stop creation, replace the lost blocks (whichever they may be.) And then do what comes naturally next. (Either black screen or an error message)

    Just so you know The airships work great in creative. There is no reason to worry with the exception of the player being able to fly.

    Oh!! Also, I'm running MC 1.2.3, so I'm using an older version.

    False, while you need to be an op to change blocks in the spawn, you can still make/break blocks without.

    You need to maintain your PC, check the manufacturer's website to download the latest version of the drivers.

    I'm also saying this because your in server support... This has nothing to do with your server, and the server should run fine provided it's needs are met.

    We decided to go a bit crazy installing mods so we can build crazy complicated contraptions as a group, like a fully automated auto-quarry using IC and Buildcraft's tech. My roommate always wanted to make really crazy redstone logic gates and stuff, so, naturally, Redpower got included.

    As for the problem:
    After we went ahead, installing RedPower World. I can't remember what it added, but I felt that the additional structures, as with the inclusion of marble and Basalt would be pretty cool. However, now I'm noticing that there's no BuildCraft Oil now that Redpower world is installed. Before you could walk for 2 minutes and see quite a bit of oil. Now, I'm pretty sure we only saw it because I missed a chunk when deleting parts of the old world.

    Is there a conflict with these mods, RP World and Buildcraft? A reason to remove redpower world is nice, as it is missing an option to stop generation of sliced in half trees and volcanos. (Both of which are getting up there in "annoying") I'm aware that removing this mod from the server can cause quite a bit of damage to the world as well.

    All in all though, in terms of Disk Space and map height, the height of the world is plenty fine for me. I'd rather they take the time and get it right if they choose to do it.

    Well, ****. When you don't have a Mod API, this typically happens. Most modders are on the ball, and mcpatcher was out before I even knew there was an update. Suck it up, buttercup.

    2.ladder fix not really fix ruins all custom maps because of hitbox
    Boo ****in' hoo. While this is bad news for the modders, removing the hitbox fixes bugs. Squishing bugs > Mappers. As harsh as that sounds, it's true. So deal.

    3.sheep regen there wool (there is a mod like that (i use it)
    4.super flat cool and helpful but u could have just used mc edit
    5.eggs useless u could use single player commands (Which i have)

    So, Instead of having it already there, you'd rather EVERYONE have to go through this process? Why? Are these features too good for everyone else? Do you really need to go up to people and say "Well, my sheep can regrow their wool, so I'm better than you!" I can't possibly imagine ANY OTHER ****ing reason why you could ever possibly complain about new features and bugs getting fixed. Hey, I generated a flat world too. But mine came generated with a massive castle wall around it. Blow me you shallow ****.

    6.enchanting bow (mod for that)
    7.golden apple recipe (mod)

    ****, I seriously didn't lop these two in the stack above? Really? You know, we could just install TMI and fix the whole golden apple and wool shebang anyway. I almost gave you the enchanting bow, but do we really want to bog down the game with another now useless ****ing mod?

    But my point is there is really no reason to update.
    Bugfixes, and the ability to watch the game develop. Reason enough for Tent. If you don't like the update, then come up with a better complaint, or shut it. Nobody's forcing you to update, so if you want to miss out on new useful content, stick with 1.8.1. Meanwhile, I'll stick with my updated textures.

    With all this in mind, I thank the modders and content creators. Having you guys step in to fix bugs before the dev is actually pretty neat, and you should never consider your work obsolete. Everything you do is an amazing learning experience.
