Is this server still alive? I can't tell if anyone still plays on this or not. I'm not able to log on to the server, Minecraft prompts an error message saying "Unkown host "retromc.beastmc.com". I am using the provided IP (retromc.beastmc.com:25589), so maybe you should just give out the numerical IP address? Or is it just because the server is down?
Age: 15, however I am mature for my age, though I still know how to have a good time.
Skype: I do have a Skype, and it is allegedstarbucksthief, however, I prefer to use Discord.
About yourself: My name is Mason, and in real life I go to a high school for the arts as a musician, and I have been playing Minecraft since August 2011. I tend to be overall nice, unless met with stupidity or an ass. A lot of my friends say I'm funny.
Why do you want to join? I have always loved participating in an up-and-coming server, and I love playing in a small community (even if it ends up becoming big). I would love to be a part of Force SMP because it would be great to be surrounded by other dedicated and mature individuals who all have at least one common interest.
What can you add to the community? I feel I can bring the community a well rounded, mature person and lots of laughter, and I am pretty sure I am quite friendly.
Anything else? As I am in school, I probably won't be able to play every day, but I will try to play as much as I can, but sometimes I might not be able to play for a few days on end if I am too busy with real life.
A minecraft Tekkit server I am trying to connect to keeps telling me that the server has an unknown hostname. I have manually tried entering the IP to no avail; I still have the same error message. I have been connecting to it the past hour but now all of a sudden it's doing this. I have been able to connect a couple times but when I've had to leave, it does it all over again. Now it's not letting me in at all. I have checked for a space in the IP. There is not a single error with the IP. I've even attempted de-capitalizing everything in the IP address.
I know that a Tekkit addon for this resource/texture pack used to exist and I was wondering if the addon would be made for Minecraft 1.6.4 (version of Tekkit) and time soon, if at all.
Hello! I experienced a crash while playing Minecraft. I am able to start the world and actually play in it, but after a minute or so, my client crashes with this (100% straight from the report) crash log below and the exact error code is: java.lang.IllegalStateException: Already tesselating!. I have searched up this error code but have found no resolved cases or explanations of tesselating easy for me to understand.

The problem is some sort of incompatibility with one of the mods and Optifine or its current settings.
The modifications and their versions I have installed at the time of this report are as follows:
Millenaire 6.0.0 for Minecraft 1.7.10, Tinker's Construct 1.8.5 for Minecraft 1.7.10, Backpacks 2.0.1 for Minecraft 1.7, Dual Hotbar 1.6 for Minecraft 1.7.10, Glenn's Gases 1.6.2 for Minecraft 1.7.10, Glenn's Gases Framework 1.1.2 for Minecraft 1.7.10, Telepads v2 for Minecraft 1.7.10, VoxelMap 1.5.13 for Minecraft 1.7.10, Lucky Blocks 5.1.0 for Minecraft 1.7.10, Mantle 0.3.2 for Minecraft 1.7.10, and OptiFine HD_U_B7 for Minecraft 1.7.10.
If Lucky Blocks is causing an incompatibility, I don't mind removing it.
I am using Forge 10.13.3.1408 (the recommended Forge version for the version of Minecraft being used) for Minecraft 1.7.10.
I am also using LiteLoader for Minecraft 1.7.10.
When the crash occurs, I am not doing any specific thing that would trigger the initiation and follow-through of the crash. Before the client closes and the launcher along with the crash report pops up, my client and visible gameplay freezes up for....ehhh...5 (Mississippi-length) seconds.
Please note I have tried and tried to figure out this error myself numerous times, duplicating the crash multiple times. This started last night whenever I ran Minecraft with Optifine for the first time alongside with Forge, LiteLoader, and all mods labeled 'available' (and about maybe 10-15 or so minutes after I opened my SSP world, it crashed for the first time).
Every since the first crash, I have been trying to tinker with the options and settings and see if the settings is incompatible with one of the other mods. I have read that setting the chunk loading process to Multi-core can likely crash a modded client. I have not changed this to Multi-Core; it is set at Smooth. I have heard that having your Advanced OpenGL set to 'Fast' can cause this crash. I have no way to verify this, but it doesn't pertain to my problem, as the error still persists.
I have tested minecraft with the same OptiFine version with the exclusion of Forge, LiteLoader, and all mods I have, and no crash results. When I remove OptiFine from the mod list, the LiteLoader with Forge and their mods do not constitute a crash.
You need version 4 or higher for the mod to work. Find where the mod page is and download the version 4 or any version compatible with the minecraft version used by the modpack. Find the place where the mods for the modpack are stored, delete the previous Origin jar (or folder, whichever one it is) and replace it with the newly downloaded one.
Banned for not understanding my point which is that that title only means 42, and at 43 you should change it to a different title until you get a new one. Also for not understanding my joke.
Oh, and BTW, this problem is with the launcher, not any of the modded aspects of Minecraft, but I didn't put it in the unmodded section because I would get yelled at rather than helped for having a modded client that doesn't even pertain to the situation at hand.
Make sure your firewall and antivirus are not blocking Minecraft. This can be done by going into your antivirus/firewall and checking the list of programs blocked/allowed. There are plenty of tutorials for every antivirus/firewall program on how to add exceptions that allow certain programs to run. What antivirus/firewall are you using?
Well everything was running perfectly yesterday, last night even. I was able to login, play online, connect to servers. So, why would any of my security and virus programs or the firewall disallow Minecraft Launcher?

Every time I attempt to start up Minecraft, I get this error message:
I am currently running Forge 11.15.0.1655 and I don't know how to fix this.

Okay, the problem seemed to have SOMEHOW fixed itself overnight. I didn't even mess with anything. I am able to login and connect.

Can someone please help me?
Oh, and BTW, this problem is with the launcher, not any of the modded aspects of Minecraft, but I didn't put it in the unmodded section because I would get yelled at rather than helped for having a modded client that doesn't even pertain to the situation at hand.

Banned for having 45 posts, though your title is called The Meaning of Life, the Universe, and Everything, which is 42 posts, so you CHEATED.

Well everything was running perfectly yesterday, last night even. I was able to login, play online, connect to servers. So, why would any of my security and virus programs or the firewall disallow Minecraft Launcher?
