posted a message on Daylight Cycling Issue

I've been developing a server, and never have I seen this happen.

The server is for 1.12.2 Spigot, using via version to support the older version. [1.8x]

Essentially, the sun (daylight cycle) on the server world (there's only a single world) get to the point of dusk.

I'd say practically the center of the dusk/dawn cycle.

As soon as the sun hits dusk, it RESETS to noon. This prevents night from occurring.

Is there an easy fix for this? Do I need to allocate more ram to my server?

    Any ideas would be appreciated.

posted a message on Older Version Support, please. (1.5.2)

I've been trying to get onto an older version of Minecraft in the most recent launcher, specifically 1.5.2. I really do enjoy the launcher, but many people, including myself, are having problems loading previous versions of the game through this application.

From what I have read and seen, the launcher still works similarly to the old one. It looks like it's installing 1.5.2, but for some odd reason, I get this error upon the game [almost] finishing its launch cycle.

    Minecraft has crashed! ----------------------

Even with everything in the .minecraft folder checked and reviews to defaults, I cannot seem to get the game to launch,

Has anyone figured this out, yet... at all? This is bugging me because 1.5.2 was the very first version of the game I ever played and I wanted to go back to it. Please give me some insight on how I can fix this, I really do NOT want to revert back to the old runtime launcher.

posted a message on PS4: help needed: does anyone have all 16 colors of wool?

Wrong section, fam. But, anyway, it's really not that hard to get all the wool colors. Just take an hour to get all the materials necessary (or less, to be honest.)

posted a message on "Update Aquatic" (Now 1.13): All Information We Have So Far

I am super excited to get my hands on this update! They are adding tons of stuff to do which is absolutely amazing.

The ocean was definitely a bland place before, even with the guardian temples.

It really does suck, though, that I just started a new world in 1.12.2.

posted a message on Multiplayer Options + Additions [Friends List, "Join Server" option, world host, etc.]

Minecraft Multiplayer is cool and all, but it could be expanded upon in many ways. Some of these suggestions are not necessarily huge changes, but they are little quirks that I think would be cool additions to Minecraft Java!

    1. Friends List -

I feel as if a friends list would be the next step for multiplayer in Minecraft Java. Some of us go through the struggle of having to use multiple applications to talk amongst several friends while playing the game. This is not a huge problem, but being able to send text chat messages across to Minecraft friends through the Java client would be really cool. Some will argue that this is not needed, which is true because to ask some friends to download another platform really wouldn't be that hard. Many people have reasons not to do so, though. It's definitely worth looking into.

    2. | Join Server | Option! -

Along with the Minecraft friends list, a simple button or option on the Minecraft Menu could allow players to quickly join their friends game without having to interrupt them from what they are currently busy working on or doing. This is especially useful if you, at the time, don't have any form of communication with that player or friend! However, this does come with some advantages and disadvantages, which will lead us to the next suggestion.

    3. World Host -

I didn't know the exact words to put as the title for this suggestion, so I think using "World Host" will do. As we all know, Minecraft, at the moment, has Realms. Realms are really cool, but it costs money that players a lot of the time just aren't willing to pay. This is why I think we should have the option to host our Minecraft World from Mojang's Servers to friends. This would allow players to set their world to private, open, etc. (Sort of like the consoles and Windows 10 Edition of the game.) I'm not saying this would be easy for Mojang, but considering the money they have, I think it'd be possible to one day add to the game. I also don't want people to think that doing this would give you as much accessibility and freedom as realms, or even setting up a server of your own. It would simply be an easy but limited way to allow friends to play online together without the need for port forwarding and paying for a realm, both of which are very nice options.

Please do tell me what you think of these suggestions. I find that these suggestions would be very possible for the somewhat distant future! I'd like to hear people's similar opinions on this.

Will yall quit judging? All I want to do is be able to mine the bottom blocks in skygrid without dying and losing them right after, all i want to do is be able to fly. By the way that server I play on? No one else plays skygrid. Maybe if you guys actually knew me you would know that I wouldnt ruin another players experience because I know how annoying hackers can be and the risks that come with hacking.

BraveQueen#5859 heres my discord if you actually want to get to know me ^-^

In my opinion, that doesn't matter. If you are using a hacked client, especially on a SkyGrid server (even if no one plays on it), I despise it. If the server allows people to use the client, so be it. If the rules of that server state that you should not use the hacked client, though, please don't use it. It's still unfair to others, even if other players don't play "often" It ruins the experience for people who want to play the game normally and fairly.

posted a message on Minefaire time?

I know I'm posting about Minefaire again, but this section of the forum seems the most appropriate for it

Does anyone know about this convention, and do they release times of when the convention opens closer to the event?

posted a message on How do I enjoy this game again?

Take a break from the game for at least 5 months, when you return to the game you should be more interested in it again. I got bored of minecraft in 2016, I took a half year break from it, and when I returned I was much more into the game.

    Also, 100th post!

It's been about 6 months by now. I'll get back into it soon, hopefully.

posted a message on How do I enjoy this game again?

I suppose I could try mods! But I've never been interested in the machinery aspect of modding. I'm more into farming and stuff that's similar to Vanilla Minecraft, but still adds more to the game (a lot more, preferably.)

Either way, though, I'm planning to go back and play older versions that I started Minecraft with.

Please, if you can, recommend some modpacks (or list of mods) that I might enjoy!

Nice! One more thing, if you managed to add some features that no one has done yet, this could be a lot cooler. (Not to offend you, I'm just assuming your the one with the knowledge to be coding this.)

posted a message on Have you ever NOT done something in MC and realized it later?

    All the time!

Sometimes I go into mineshafts to later lose the location and forget completely about collecting the rails. Rails are not hard to make, but they are a pain in the butt to create enough of non-stop. It angers me sometimes that I forget to collect them.

Even in other scenarios, like collecting chest items from the mineshafts, I forget to take the minecarts with the chests. This forces me to use my iron ingots to create more minecarts!

    But, yeah, all the time.

posted a message on Potionpedia - Recipe Book Of Potion [Windows]

We don't need a new program to help us with finding recipes for potions in the game. The Minecraft Wiki and many other sources have all the info we need. And the fact that the program would even be detected as antivirus in the first place should be fixed before it's downloaded by anyone.
