You said you kept track of where you found the books. I've searched everywhere... or nearly everywhere... and haven't found 4, 14, 56, 58, 78, or 90. Any chance you still have the locations written down anywhere?
I love this mod but the laser gun needing ammo is lame. I'm playing with the Space Astronomy modpack and I've been laboring hard to get the gun... only to find that the crossbow I've been using most of the game is more than twice as good, it does more damage, aims more reliably, and I don't have to make ammo for it because my bolts have moss on them. Kind of a letdown.
So here I am thinking "I love Ars Magica 2, it's one of my favorite mods, I wonder who's been updating it and all that." And so I come on here to find Robijnvogel... who's also been doing work on Dimensional Doors... another of my favorite mods. Dude, do you sleep?
I have a more pertinent question. I was playing a 1.7.10 modpack (Tolkiencraft II) and really enjoying Ars Magica 2 until I maxed out my armor experience and infused my pants with the dispel ability. Then my game melted. So now I'm playing a 1.10.2 modpack (Sprout) and I'm wondering if I should stay away from the dispel ability. I mean... I love it in theory but if it makes my game unplayable it isn't so great.
Anyone have any insight? Was that a well-known bug and if so, was it fixed?
Okay, so I'm playing the old 1.7/10 space astronomy modpack. I built an optimized suit (weighs around 10 kg) and it won't fly. I think it has to do with the keybinds. It's weird though because the last time I played this modpack I didn't have to mess with the keybinds at all (I didn't even know they were a thing in game) and the suit worked fine.
I can't fly. I'm really bummed. I spent two or three days making this suit because I wanted to be able to fly and now I still can't. Anyone have any ideas?
Edit: Finally figured out... you have to set the power you want to come from your jetpack and boots at the tinker table. I don't remember that at all.
Hi, I just downloaded this modpack and am excited to try it out but I'm bugged by the screen being crowded. On the right hand side there's a bunch of information I don't know how to turn off: day/time, biome, light level, xp, fps, entities. What mod is doing this? How do I turn it off?
I wanted to play TFCraft so I tried to install it, which requires forge. Forge requires an updated java. I had lots of complications with java. Now I can't even run regular minecraft.
When I try to run the launcher I get this error:

What version of minecraft are you guys running on this server? Maybe I missed it somewhere? I tried to connect while running the most current 1.8 and it says your server is outdated.
Does this mod play nice with other mods like Thaumcraft 3 or 4? And Ars Magica 2?
I remember a while back I enjoyed playing this mod alongside the dimensional doors mod.
I'm using minecraft 1.4.7 and have tried many versions of forge up to the most recent one applicable for minecraft 1.4.7.
even with no mods loaded my game will crash after a few seconds or a minute, as soon as i start wandering around.
here is the crash report:

what i find exceptionally perplexing is that i've gotten forge to work for 1.4.7 before and i don't know what's changed.
it doesn't make any sense.
i've seen folks say that forge doesn't play nice with mcpatcher but doesn't mcpatcher come WITH forge? i've tried removing mcpatcher and it's always there again when i install forge. i also remember mcpatcher working fine with forge before.
i've been at this for a couple hours and am pretty frustrated.
controlling and vicious ladies/girls... complicit lady archetype.
What an interesting (and to me frustrating) shift of perspective... you went and took the word supportive (a positive trait which I expressly desire to see in myself and those around me) and rewrote it "complicit," a demeaning description with which few, if any, of us, male or female, would be pleased to be saddled. And then you prefaced it with the assumed opposite "controlling and vicious," as if to say "here are your options ladies, be pushed around or angsty and manipulative."
Though you did end your post with that bit about female lions and so, it seems, made it clear that this isn't necessarily your position.

Also, anyone find site 112 or Area 341?

I think it's pretty clear that we're speaking in generalities.
