So I remodeled each of the mobs to look individualized, but animating them is still priority number 1.
I need help with that. I got some amazing tips from Bob Mowzie, who created Mowzies Mobs. He has been incredibly helpful in leading me in the right direction, but unfortunately its all too technical for me. I need to start from the basics, and I haven't been able to find any tutorials.
SquatchFever is my first ever minecraft mod. The idea for the mod came about yesterday at 3:20pm when I saw a video on youtube about Sasquatch in minecraft. I became very interested in it, and soon found out that there was no updated mod about the Sasquatch. So I, with absolutely no coding experience, decided to make the mod.
What Is Included So Far
In the current build of the mod, there are 4 mobs that spawn around the world:
The Sasquatch, a neutral mob that spawns in forests. It spawns in packs and attacks sheep.
The Skunk Ape, a passive swamp dweller that emits slime particles. I plan on making the textures more individual later. Done and done.
The Genoskwa, a total tank that spawns in the tiaga. It has the zombie AI, and I need to change that. Very aggressive.
The Yeti, basically the extreme hills Genoskwa. Super aggressive.
None of the bigfoots....bigfeet?....whatever....are animated yet. I don't know how to do animation, so if somebody would like to, or has a tutorial I could watch, I'd be down.
The Items
This picture below shows all of the items currently added into the mod
The four items on the left, obscured by the idiot player (me), are furs dropped by each type of Sasquatch. They can be used to craft the four masks on the right. The masks are only for display as of now, but I want to learn how to give them unique behaviors. The last two items are the Squatch Beef and the Squatch Steak. The Squatch Beef is a rare drop you can get from killing one of the mobs, and the Steak, as you'd expect, comes from cooking the Beef.
The Gugwe: Also known as a type 3, an aggressive bigfoot with a snout
The Yeren: China's bigfoot
Wood Boogers: Chimp-Like bigfoot that lives down South. Very mischievous.
Bigfoot Hunter: Villager who wanders the world and trades bigfoot items.
So, What Is Broken About This Mod
Here's the fun stuff. First of all, I need to fix the Genoskwa and the Yeti. They have the zombie AI, so they burn in the day and can infect villagers. They also spawn too rarely. Meanwhile, the Sasquatch spawns way too frequently. None of the models are animated, and all of them are too slow.
I decided to make the zombies more gross looking and more distinctive. The real reason I went crazy with this was because of the female zombie, which I redid because of this picture:
This is the female Zombie model from Shangri La on COD, and I was terrified by it as a kid, so I decided it would be fitting to include it.

Thank you. I try to update regularly if I can. School has gotten in the way recently, so that is why it has been a while.
