posted a message on Why does Minecraft keep Closing?
Mine locks up about 30 seconds after loading the world. I renamed my .minecraft folder and re-downloaded the whole thing so it's a mod-less install, but my saved world still crashes. I have some mod items in a chest somewhere, but nothing on my char.

I'm not sure if someone posted this already (I didn't read all 22 pages) or if this is intended, but the preacher and hunchback appear to be immune to lava.

posted a message on [MAP] Large pre-built castle
I've seen posts before from people asking about downloading maps when they've lost a save or whatever, so I thought I'd share this. Includes a large castle (spider/monster-proof), a 50x50 two-story monster grinder, a large enclosed greenhouse (keeps trees at a height where you can harvest them from the ground), a stable, lots of mines, a nether portal with a small fort on the nether side, tons of chests filled with materials, and more. Sorry the file is kind of large, I went shark hunting one day and ended up wandering a lot, so there's quite a bit of map.

posted a message on Mo' Creatures - v12.0.0 for Minecraft 1.12.1!! Now Opensource!!
After updating and reinstalling the new mod manager, audio mod and gui api, my game runs fine, but no longer seems to have any of the creatures from the mod in it, including my tamed horses.

I can open the gui to change the settings, and I made sure to restart the game after I changed settings.

    Any suggestions?

Just wanted to ask about a couple things that I've seen others ask but never answered.

    1. I've tamed horses, put them into a secure, well-lit, fenced area, and gone mining to come back and find them gone. It's happened multiple times, with different kinds of horses.

    2. When an animal attacks and kills you (mostly happens to me with boars), it eats all of your dropped items. I think I read somewhere that predators will eat drops from prey animals, but I'm thinking that losing an entire pack of items to a random piggy isn't supposed to happen.

1- The most probable thing is that something killed your horses. Even though is is a fenced area, maybe something jumped inside and kill them. Another option is that horses can jump over fences, since they jump two block high, but I've never tested this myself. You should make a full room with cobblestone, so the horses can not go out and another animals con not go inside, and that way they are safe for me.

2- That never happend to me, but I think (at least before this update) that predators do not eat prey's drop, since I found in my world a lot a feather/porkchops during the day. Maybe this was modified in the last update.

Just happened to me again. I was killed by a wolf right next to my castle and it destroyed my entire pack of items, other than a few items than landed on the other side of a low wall.

Try putting the - in front. Also if you have mobs already spawned you need to wait for them to despawn or kill them off.

Here's the exact copy of what my notepad says:

    Horse
    1Ogre
    1FireOgre
    1CaveOgre
    Boar
    Bear
    Duck
    LionK
    Wolf
    PolarBear
    1Wraith
    1FlameWraith
    Bunny
    1Bird
    Fox
    1Werewolf
    Shark

    I use 1 instead of -

    thanks
but the place is right?? must the notepad file stay in the MO''s creatures mod folder???

The properties file goes directly in the .minecraft folder, not in any of the subfolders.

Painterly is another good one, it allows you to customize your texture pack from tons of options.

Generally your texture pack folder will be somewhere like c:/users/*yourname*/appdata/roaming/.minecraft/texturepacks

The AppData folder is a hidden folder, so you'll need to show hidden folders to see it.

You can copy 16x16 texture packs to the texturepacks folder (don't unzip them first) and use them from the button in the Minecraft menu. If you want to use higher resolution packs, you'll generally need to use a patcher to modify the default texture pack.

Edit: The patcher is here ( viewtopic.php?t=46173 ) in case a link isn't included along with a pack you want to install. You should only need the patcher if you're using packs with higher resolutions (32x32, 64x64, etc)
