    OOC Information
    Name: Bananahalla
    Age: 15
Why do you want to join us: Kickass server it seems like :biggrin.gif:
Did you read the application rules: Yes.

    IC Information
    Name: Desmond
    Age: 74
Character Appearance: I dunno I was too lazy to make an arctic suit from scratch so I just used the Isaac Clarke Winter suit.
Character Personality: Sympathetic, outgoing, friendly, tough-fighter, Organized, survivalist.
    Character History: Described Below.

I woke up in a pool of water. Actually I didn't know if it was water, or something else, perhaps my own blood. I didn't remember much about who I was, or why I was here. All I knew was that there was an intense buzzing in the back of my head, telling me to get the hell out of the cave that I had woken up in. I started running in a direction I couldn't fathom, crashing into walls and tripping, probably caused by the dizziness and the throbbing headache. I kept running, and heard a faint noise, a noise similar to a fly flying around the room, that faint buzz. I made it my goal to find the source of this buzzing, as I really had no incentive otherwise. Still blind in the seemingly never-ending darkness, I pushed on, drawing ever closer to the noise. I rounded a corner, or at least It seemed like I did, and I came upon a far away light, blaring and beckoning me. It was enchanting, calling out to my inner soul, like the sight of true love. (horrible analogy, I know, just bear with me).
I ran, no, sprinted to the light, as if not even my own life mattered anymore, just that I had to reach this light. I drew closer, and with every step, that buzzing grew significantly. As I was mere steps away from the light, It consumed me, basking me in it's imaginary arms. I was relieved that I was here, but the buzzing kept me focused. I had to find the source. I looked around me, unsure as to where the buzzing was, and, also, unsure as to where I was, for the light was still blinding me. As I became accustomed to the light, the setting became clear to me. Spread in front of my very eyes were towering mining drills and wonderful vistas, showcasing a magnificent ice covered canyon. I was captivated by the sight, but still the buzzing persisted.
I looked down upon the ground, and close to me I could see a helmet buried in the snow, as well as a bag. I picked up the helmet and turned this way and that, inspecting it. I found the source of the buzzing to be a seemingly overcharged battery in the back of the helmet, used to power the heads-up-display and air conditioning system. As it seemed to be in good condition, I donned the helmet, and it instantly came to life at my presence. I felt a short pinch at the back of my skull, and then realization. The memories of past months and events became clear. This man that once wore this armor was an escort for an expedition to find an artifact buried deep within this planet. He was escorting a group of scientists and engineers, who, by all means, had no way or experience to defend themselves. One of these engineers, the computer in the helmet identified, was me.
This planet, I also found out, had been hit by a massive comet after my group went underground, shrouding this planet into ice and cold. The caves we had been inhabiting had collapsed on us, and most of the team had been killed, save me and the man who once wore this armor. Apparently, the man had discarded the armor for god knows what reason, and left to fend for himself in this cold, brutal wasteland. Understanding, finally, my current situation, I looked to the bag, picked it up, and in the bag were devices that the helmet computer identified as electrical torches, as well as a device to harvest raw materials and re purpose them for building matter. Seeing these things as significant for survival, I slung the bag over my shoulder and began walking along the cliff that overlooked the canyon.
Not a minute into my trek, I found the rest of the armor the man had discarded. I knelt down to inspect the armor, and it came to life at my touch. It was in relatively fine condition, and the front opened up, splitting from the middle. The new voice in my head, coming, I assume, from the helmet I had equipped, instructed me to enter the suit. The voice was friendly, but also had a sharp computerized tone to it. Having no reason to object with the voice, I entered the suit. When I was, comfortably, fitted in the outline of the suit, it closed on my body, encasing me. Immediately, I felt two things: I felt sharp stings around my body, like I was being stung 30 times by bees all around my body. I also felt immediate warmth and comfort. The air conditioning system had already become accustomed to the outside conditions, making it seem like a warm spring afternoon, contrary to the current snowstorm around me. The suits limbs began to succumb to mine, and I took a step. I walked. I ran into the barren forest, braving the new unknown, emerging, brave and willing, to this dangerous place.

Underworld: where most of the action takes place. The giant tunnels the worms carved out.

Overworld: Icy desert with dead trees here and there, there is holes in the ground used to access the underworld from here. All that can be found on the overworld is mining equipment at abandoned rigs, and iceworms.

Ok I understand. If you manage to keep this server on a serious role play it would be amazing awesome and fun. Just sayin' xD

Also, let me show you how the server is gonna be like.

At spawn there is going to be giant mountains surrounding you, with a large, broken mining rig over a hole which will be used to access the overworld from the bottom. In a small gap in the mountains you will be able to see the flaming comet (which will eventually be a quest) and you will be able to get on the mining rig to look for supplies.

Factions will not be able to attack when everyone enters the hole.

The overworld will eventually get larger and larger and will be accessible at any time.

Sounds pretty awesome, but I'm a bit confused with this "overworld" You access it from the bottom of a hole? I this world above or below the spawn? I are confuse.

And I changed my skin to Isaac Clarke Arctic, with a bit of my edits here and there.

Sadly we still need a host :sad.gif:

And thanks, it's a work in progress hehe.

Did download the map we'll be playing on?

Haven't downloaded the map, as I'm not to fond/its caused me problems in the past when I've tried to download maps. I'll just play it safe and say cool. :biggrin.gif:

    ACCEPTED.

Now you need to make your skin a suit XD

    Yeah, THAT'LL be fun. xD

So are we still looking for a host/is there an IP for the server?

I downloaded the TP, looks amazing btw, and I'm all set. :biggrin.gif: (except for that suit part, probably just going to be lazy and use the Isaac Clarke snow armor lol)

    Accepted.

I'd flesh out your story a bit more, personally.

Banana, this is a roleplay server. I mean your roleplay characters backstory.

    OOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Well ok then. Dammit it'll be better to tell my story if I change my skin.

Ok: Warning! Massive Wall of text!

And there's my story. Hope you enjoyed it! :biggrin.gif:

Became almost like a short story anyway. Lol I had fun writing it regardless.

Uh, like, do you mean myself? Or my character skin? Uh... Well I can't say much about those except that I found Minecraft through The Flood (:biggrin.gif:) and my skin is Tobuscus (Speaks for itself). So that's that.

Also, The Flood was here. Saying it, officially, right now.

posted a message on Annoying launcher problem
Hello everyone. I'm coming to you today to address an issue that is really starting to get on my nerves. Whenever I try to start up Minecraft Beta, I log in, it, very briefly, flashes the 'Updating Minecraft' page, then just stays at a blank screen right before Mojang Specifications logo. No matter how long I wait, it never loads. I've tried re-downloading MInecraft, deleting everything minecraft in my computer, then re-downloading it, and playing it in browser. Nothing works. I really would appreciate it if someone helped me figure this out!

posted a message on 'Updating Minecraft' Launcher Freeze
Hey everyone, my name is BananHalla, and I have a bit of a problem on my hands. Whenever I launch Minecraft, whether it be In Browser, or on a downloaded version, the browser every time seems to freeze on the 'Updating Minecraft' page. To be more specific, The bar loads instantly to a point that's very close to the end, but no matter how long I wait, it never finishes. I have a hunch it is a problem with Java, but I honestly have no idea. Can anyone help me?

    Thanks.
