Reading... you might want to do that once in a while before posting based on something that was said many moons ago.
The amount of people who do not even read the last posted comment, yet alone the last page of threads in forums (especially in this one) is insane. No, they would rather just skip everything (this includes the OP), post their question "when is the update released?" or wrong statements like the one above, annoy everyone else with the capability to read, and wait for the suck-... the poor dude that always will come and post the repeated answer for their convenience. Again and again and again and again and again. Too many times dude, too many times.
Integrating lookingglass into DimDoors? I have no idea how to do that. (and this is what I was taking about
Installing DimDoors besides LookingGlass and running minecraft Forge without errors?
1. Install the recommended version of Minecraft Forge for 1.7.10
2. download both the latest LookingGlass and DimDoors for 1.7.10
3. put both mods in your mods folder
4. run Minecraft.
LookingGlass is written as an API, meaning you need to know how to Java and integrate that API into DimensionalDoors. As in, you need to change code in DimensionalDoors. Right now, just running both of them in an instance does nothing, DimensionalDoors doesnt really know about LookingGlass and is ignoring it (figuratively). Thats WAY more than just a few clicks. ^^
I recently learned Java and tried to update DimensionalDoors to 1.7.10 when CannibalVox didnt release his/her update yet, but i had to realize that modding Minecraft is still above my expertise.
I find Binding Projectile Light to be cool, but is it intentional to have the Projectile Light to Proc when Mining something with the Pickaxe as I find it annoying.
Also are Moonstone Meteors bugged? I haven't found any on my current world and I'm mana level 12, the config is set to 10.
Thats why i suggested Self - Light, try that. And no, i dont have any problems with Moonstone Meteors, i have plenty of moonstone. They do only spawn when youre around, and only on natural terrain. When they land they sound like a tnt explosion.
I am running Ars Magica 2 version 1.4.0.008 and I am having a problem making the spell recipe book for tool binding.
I've tried placing Binding into the first of the five squares in the Inscription Table, I've even placed it in the row down below the four squares.
I've even tried placing a Binding shape in both the first of the five squares and the row of the Inscription Table.
Every time I do this I get an Unfinished Spell Recipe "written book" that's completely blank.
What's aggravating me about this is that I got Binding to work before on this exact same version so WTF?!
I know you add the Binding Catylist of the tool you want when you actually throw items into the spell crafting altar, but my problem is making the stupid book to be able to use the crafting altar.
I think I'm just going to blindly throw in a blank rune, followed by the items needed for the binding spell and see what happens, most likely EXPLOSIONS.
But anyone know how to get the Inscription Table not to botch up?
Here's some Images (contained in spoilers in-case anyone's still using Dial-Up these days)

I've made a binding spell before, but for some reason now I can't.
My configuration is Self in first box, Self followed by regen in the bottom box.
Did you say you used Self, followed by another Self in the bottom grey box? If thats the case, you only need one Self in one of the brown boxes, not another one in the grey box.
The downsides of endermaging seem crippling. What is the main benefit as you see it?
I tend to avoid affinities like the plague. The negatives seem to far outweigh the benefits in most situations, it seems to me like. That said, I am eager to see arguments to the contrary!
The mainbenefit and sellingpoint (for me) is permanent nightvision at night. Problem right now is, that at the moment it is seizureinducing, because that automatic nightvision switches on by just touching blockes with your body, even when its midday and youre outside with nothing above you, and after that the nightvision does its typical fade in - fade out before it runs out.
All of that gets fixed in .009 though with a fixed hotkey for nightvision, and the rest of enderaffinity gets turned into a save-me-from-that-fall teleport. When you reach 90% or 100% enderaffinity (dont remember when exactly) you lose the negatives (because you "mastered" enderaffinity).

Is it just in my instance or are some vanilla items missing aspects in the newest update beta16, most notably coal (but not charcoal)?

What do you mean by that?

Heres your solution:

Theres a big fat topic in the first post regarding modpacks. Exactly like almost every other major mod has that topic in its first post...

More like a joke. ^^
