Is there a way to spawn a normally hostile mob as neutral? The angry tag will spawn a neutral mob as hostile, but I'd like to do the opposite. Will setting angry to false for a zombie, for example, make zombies ignore the player until attacked?

posted a message on Problems modifying pickaxe progression
I'm trying to create a mod pack in 1.6.4 and I want to modify the pickaxe level progression. I'm using Tinker's Construct, Metallurgy 3, Extra TiC, and TiC Tweaks. (There are others, but these should be the relevant ones for this problem.)

I want to change the progression to be Flint, Copper, Bronze, Iron, Steel, Adamantine. I have successfully changed the harvest levels of all the ores, but the levels of the pickaxes stay the same no matter what I do. I'm pretty sure I've updated all the relevant properties, but the picks always end up as the default harvest levels. Any help would be appreciated.

    I've made updates in:

    1. TiC Tweaks\Harvest Level Config.cfg
    2. TiC Tweaks\Iguana Tweaks.cfg
    3. TiCTweaks\MaterialConfig.cfg
    4. Metallurgy3\MetallurgyBase.cfg
    5. Metallurgy3\MetallurgyFantasy.cfg

I'd like get your permission to use Underground Biomes Constructs in a private FTB pack. If things go well, I intend to make it a public pack.

@BLAMM67, that info is on the CurseForge page

    Excellent. Thank you.

First, great job guys. It's good to see this is staying around.

Second, I'm assuming you'll maintain the permission to use this in mod packs, but could you update the OP with a note? I'm building a private pack for FTB and I want to dot all my eyes and cross my tees. The FTB permission spreadsheet lists this as open, but with new authors the permission should be coming from you.

This looks great. I'm going to add it to my mod pack. Any update on getting the dolly to work with it? That's one of my favorite features of JABBA.

    Nice and all, but...

a -recipe- for mossy stone? Ugh...

At best it could have simply gathered moss (bringing possible use for a sponge tool crafted from sponge blocks/sponges to clean off), but to simply craft it just seems kinda silly.

Hate to be that guy that finds something about the update to complain about, but I had to say it.
I think that's referring to using mossy stone *in* recipes. So we can have mossy slabs and steps.

I'm looking forward to the adventure mode updates. I want to put players into a world that limits their activities so I can tell a story.

Plagiarism is the sincerest form of flattery. Go for it.

You've got a good start though. And you have a lot of open space to expand into. Don't be afraid to tear down and rebuild. I built it the way I did because the local terrain required so much work to terraform that I got to the point where I just wanted to stop destruction and start construction event if it wasn't adequate space.

    Iron Age complete!

Took forever to slash and burn the jungle and dig out the mountains. In this shot you can see:
    1) the keep. I had to completely tear down the old one and rebuild to get what I wanted.
    2) the outer wall. Making room for this is what took most of the time.
    3) the inner wall. The inner area isn't nearly big enough, but I didn't want to tear that down too.
    4) guard towers. Each tower has access to the top of the outer wall.
    5) my colors. The flags look like the Austrian flag, but they're actually representative of a dynamite block.
    6) the tree farm, barracks, blacksmith, well, and farm. Closer shots of these are below.

    Materials and Treasure

    Barracks and Armory

    Blacksmith, Farm, and Well

Animal pens: sheep, cows, pigs, and chicken coop

Tree farm and Courtyard. The courtyard is on the keep's rooftop because there's just no room inside the inner wall.

Great Hall. Views from the entrance and from the throne. The iron block in the floor front of the throne is the spawn point.

    Kitchen and Bedroom

    Storeroom and Treasure room

Phew! That was a lot of work, but I think I'm over the worst of it. The other ages should just be about adding to what I have instead of building from the ground up.

You guys with your spawn points in relatively flat lands and zero undergrowth make me jealous. I'm still working on my Iron Age, but the landscaping has been brutal. I should be posting soon though. I just have to finish off my keep.

You don't have to build another wall, you can simply enhance the one you've got, as long as there's enough place for the building required inside...

    Nice job, btw!
The requirements for Iron Age specify a 5m tall, 2m wide main wall around your keep and _inner wall_. Regardless, I've already planned for it and have cleared the land, so I'm not going to change it now. :)

Completed the Stone Age. had to clear a lot of jungle, but not as much as I will for Iron Age. (*Another* wall? Really?)
Here you can see the keep, guard tower, and court yard. As soon as I get a bucket, there will be water in the fountain.

Here's my treasure and materials. I'm using a single chest for all the treasure, since there isn't much of it.

    My store room and workshop.

Bedroom on the second floor. It's sparse now, but I'll be enhancing it later.

The spawn room, upgraded from wood.

The mine shaft. I managed to dig all the way to bedrock without hitting a cave.

    Farm and animal pens.

I'm to lazy to take pictures at the moment and still need the 2nd guard tower. And if you play this challenge on hardcore, the spawn block is completely useless, not to be rude. But good luck not dieing on Hardcore Mode!
The spawn useless in hardcore? It is the point from which life itself poured forth into the frail shell of my blocky body! To lose that most precious of gifts would be a travesty! Should I continue my pathetic existence after having allowed it to drain away through neglect, stupidity, or carelessness? No, I say! I will return to the sweet darkness of oblivion instead!

But seriously. The spawn has as much use in hardcore as it does in a standard game after you sleep in a bed. The point of the challenge is to protect the point of origin, not the point where you will respawn. Otherwise the rules would outlaw beds and sleeping, which they do not.

At any rate, I wanted to add an extra level of difficulty to this and the decision has gotten my heart racing twice. Once when a creeper snuck up behind me while I was hacking away jungle brush and reduced me to a single heart, and once when my newly tamed cat almost pushed me off the top of a jungle tree.

If I hadn't been in hardcore, neither event would have meant very much. Instead, these made survival a very real, and very urgent, priority.

    Stupid cat.

I decided to take on this challenge awhile ago, but only started yesterday. Made good progress and finished the Wood Age already.

I spawned in deep in a hilly, jungle biome on the edge of water, making the floor plan difficult. I have a lot of hacking and digging in my future as I increase in size. You can also see my farm and animal pens here. (Snapshot taken at the top of a jungle tree, just before I hacked it down.)

My treasure requirement. (A single sapling is rather trivial. I expected more.)

    Materials requirement.

Spawn room. The log in the center is the spawn point. I was happy to discover jungle trees create a darker colored plank allowing me to have a parquet floor. I think I'll keep that detail as I progress through the ages.

Second room with bed. This will change significantly in later ages.

I look forward to taming the Stone Age! (And using stone tools, phew!)

Edit: Oh, and I forgot to mention. I'm playing this on hardcore. No second chances!
