    I have a few good ideas that I thought I should put out there:

    Burning (or flaming, or fire) Swamp:

    A biome with pools of lava, dead trees, ash, maybe some exposed stone, and special blackened trees that don't burn. There could be different lava source blocks that randomly spawn in the lava that have the exact same lava texture, but every certain number of ticks, has the chance to spew embers everywhere nearby lighting nearby players on fire. Plus there could also be tar blocks spawning either randomly in the biome, or in tar pits. Tar would be like mud, only you would sink deeper, and move slower.

    Sinkhole:
    It would be similar to a normal forest/jungle biome, but at the borders, it would slant steeply downward and the entirety of the biome would be at least 20 or so blocks under sea level.

    Extreme Mountains:
    It occurred to me that there was a massive map height increase in one of the past updates, and I didn't know if it was possible, but I would like to see mountains that extend to that upper limit. Starting out like extreme hills, and ending like crag.

    Collision (or impact) Site:
    A field biome that could be similar to any of the flat biomes in the mod or vanilla minecraft so far. But it would have multiple craters scattered across it with flaming netherack and other hellish blocks in them. Some of the craters might be bigger than others with ores inside or some of the bigger craters could have monster spawners. It would also have an ominous blackened flaming sky. The more interesting spawning system for these biomes could be that any biome spawned has a very small random chance of becoming one of the bombarded biomes, so a maple forest might randomly spawn with flaming craters and lava as if it had been bombarded. But that's not a specific biome, so I don't think it applies for the contest.

    Man, I've been waiting for this mod to update. Okay, well, could you send me a link to this other mod with both planes and vehicles, I'd rather like another one.

    About the broken version, it's very likely that Flan knew that this version was broken but had a goal to release a Christmas update and was busy in his university (which incidentally happens to be what prevented him from updating to 1.3 and 1.4 until now), if he was having that much trouble, then going from 1.2.5 to 1.4.6 flawlessly could never happen and getting it done with such time constraints also could never happen. Plus, bugs are hard to fix, and college comes first. So, cut the guy some slack.

    Hmm, I was thinking about the view you get while in the train, in a steam locomotive, the view really leaves a lot to be desired, so you go into 3rd person view, but what if you wanted to see everything from first person perspective and still see where you are going, perhaps Spitfire could add a front facing cam-shot from the side of a train, as if you were leaning out of the train to get a look around the massive boiler and/or smokestack (like the real engineers of that time). Who thinks that this would be a good idea?

    half blocks of nearly every material
    quarter slabs of every material
    thinner slabs of every material
    cover slabs of every material
    corner plates of every material
    bigger corner plates of every material
    smaller corner plates of every material
    plates with holes for every material
    covered wires of '' ''
    four different wires with [see above]
    colors of wires '' '' color
    four different kinds of wires with [see above]
    anti-covers of every material
    bigger and smaller anti-covers of every material
    corner panels of every material
    60+ assorted machines logic tiles and bluectrics
    pnuematic tubes of every color

    and much much more, if you really want to understand how much stuff there is, get recipe book, and have fun scrolling through (I believe it's close to 300-600 pages, but I don't use it anymore, so I'm not positive, may be less).

    Conclusion: Redpower uses 1000+ blocks

    Well, I was giving examples as to why it isn't updated, and it does say that you need modloader mp and forge, so it was a simple misunderstanding

    Now, I'm not really positive about this whole modding business, but I BELIEVE that this mod uses forge and (if I'm not mistaken) forge was released for 1.3.2 as of 6 days ago. As I have stated before, I'm no modder, but I'm pretty sure that with a big mod like this (and being in college and all) that it would take more than 6 days to update it completely. (plus, modloadermp hasn't been updated to 1.3.2 as of what I have seen, so flan would either wait for it, or update it himself) I think that these are grounds to stop wondering, or complaining about not updating.

    Edit:and turbomodelthingy hasn't been updated yet either

    HHmmm, so it seems that forge may have updated to 1.3.1, sadly, just as they have done this, the people at Mojang have begun to near the update of 1.3.2, it's a shame, really.

    Thank you, that should solve my problem, perhaps on bigger locomotives going on the sharp turns would derail them? Also, as a side note (as I still don't have minecraft access), last time I checked about trains going on the curves like that, they would zigzag, which looked terrible (sorry), has this been fixed?

    Well, while I think rail guns are pretty cool, I believe that (as helldiver stated) it would look rediculous going around turns, imagine... a 100 ton rail gun, with at least two thirds of it sticking off the edge of the rails over a cliff.

    FMC modeller kept crashing on me (that's why the rear hand-rail is selected). Seems like it can only handle so much...

    I'll be sending the files off to Spitfire tomorrow. I will do repaints of other Major railroads (more than likely BNSF, Northfolk Southern), once this locomotive is in game.

    Repaints to other liveries is very difficult since the cab is very complicated. So I may only do the major railroads so long as they are simple.

    I've gotten two requests for 4-8-0s and 2-8-0s. That's too many wheels, and in order to represent them right I'd need at least 6 Blocks in length.

    That means that in a turn, up to 4 blocks of locomotive will stick out. On tight curves near cliffs 60% of the locomotive will stick into the cliff.

    If an n-8-n locomotive is reversed, the front half will clip into the tender, which looks wierd.

    no offense to DAYDiecast, his locomotive and cars are extremely beautiful! :D

    Note the locomotive on the left and how far it extends. The three issues are: track curves, track curves over cliff sides, and when the locomotive reverses.

    Note the locomotive on the right. It has a shorter wheel arrangement (0-4-0). Note how it doesn't overextend beyond the track curve as much.

    So, it's not that the other modellers and myself don't want to make n-6-n wheel arrangements (or larger), it's just that currently the minecraft code and system does not support 2x2, 4x4, and higher curve grades.

    Now I'm not sure about you, but for a locomotive that freaking amazing I'd be willing to deal with turns like that (though I think wide turns would be a great implementation in the near future)

    I totally agree with your description of the steam shovel, and I agree, there should be a mucker, but what use would it be with the rail builder?

    It's flan's WW2 mod, I'm very interested in world war two and his mod just does a great job with it. (though the vehicle roll controls need work)
