Supreme Leader of The Assassin's b0wz3r gave his first speech since the crushing defeat yesterday.
"We must remain strong in dire times, the war effort is nowhere near end. I promise my citizens, my people, my followers we are destined to be victorious. You and I are both witnesses here today for the sky cry's for us! With our allies the enemy will die and crumble beneath the heels of justice, and freedom!"
Crowds cheered as the King spoke but there was gloom in the air for 8 men died that day for a noble cause after 2 Admiral's assaults on DWA base after a failed war strategy separated the host to be destroyed. All died, all was lost. However moral remains to lift and hope is not lost.
The Admiral attack was in retaliation for the lives that The King and The Walrus took earlier that day with the slaughter of two admiral scouts.
Sky Keep Delta lit a blaze after flurry of arrows penetrate the incomplete fortress to reach the Koopa.
The Admirals coordinate a second storming of The Assassin's ancestral seat and come out empty handed. Late at night all appears silent until The King Koopa himself lets out a beckoning cry for blood, it is answered. Waves of Admirals in light blue storm the castle as b0wz3r lies between the East tower bridge. As he appears surrounded he manages to get the kill in on xMattyx who was sliced clean in half by the turtle's blood-stained blade. However due to the injury's the turtle sustained he was only able to get away with the breastplate and leggings.
Unsatisfied, the reckless and untamed Dragon once again conjures his teleport ability however no fool is the King of the Sky Keep as he allows him to succumb to the grinder tramp a second time only to be humiliated by b0wz3r yet again. Now space is short and it is hard for the wise king to find storage for all of his obtained goods.

However as the Admirals of the sea began their landclaiming they occupied the land directly east which further stirred the pot. As the two structures face each other in constant stand off the Admirals Rangers Of Power began their first true assault on the Koopa's legion. Then using his cunning he swindled two Admirals to return his lost goods and by doing so he caught one off guard and made him traverse the plank. Full out war ensues.
As the Koopa's primary tactic prooves fruitful the Seamen grow angry and hungry for more so in search of revenge the Dragon manages to summon his teleportation ability to Teleport to the Koopa's secret base, however he was prepared. He ensured that all who teleported were sent directly down his mob shaft resulting in the end of WebbyBubble, xMatty, and the Dragon himself. Surely this is total war with the first battle being claimed by King Koopa himself.
Meanwhile on the northern front The Dark Brotherhood most trusted allies of the Koopa have been barraged constantly by the Major League Crafters of the east resulting in nightly pillages and rapes claiming lives on both sides.
In a diplomatic move to focus efforts against the largest military force the King Koopa has cemented a military alliance with MLC to secure strength in numbers, however how The Brotherhood will take this is unknown. This new alliance dubbed The Double Entente between DWA and MLC have come together with a universal goal, to send the Seamen back to whence they came; a watery grave!

I think I'm done with Minecraft aswell as a server as good as Darkwood, Infinity Gate and Stonewall are hard to come by. I would like to know if I could procure a map download.

things that i think will help the server grow..
1) A new starting area -- the maze is nice and all but i think new players find it boring and annoying which makes them want to leave. we need to find something more eye catching.
2) A starting kit -- not a bunch just maybe some stone tools and leather armor and food and a rule book
3) different biomes -- unfortunately we have been cursed with the same three biomes and the only way to change that would be changing areas already rendered or expand the map.
4) we need to be on more often -- this weekend the highest the server got up to was about 5 players. and im sure most of them were alts. making it seem more populated will make people want to stay. so its not like just playing single player which kinda sucks.
5) vote -- People need to vote. like really, it only helps
i just dont want this server to go the same way as IG did because it feels like it is.
I agree with you, although I think StoneWall is going through the same thing Infinity Gate was going through in 1.2. I don't think any of you guys were playing at that time besides me abd and ele (yes even server admin againstme quit for a little bit there) the server hardly got any players on even at 7 on a saturday the most on was 2 or 3. but after dreaded 1.2 ended and 1.3 launched things started to get a little better. Once 1.8 comes out this server need to be ready and also votes help a lot and they do bring on lots of new players. If I recall IG got a lot of members from The MC forums because it was very active. Perhaps we could liven up this forum without bumping. Maybe posting that new redstone invention you made or showing off you're farms. Also I noticed that on the various voting websites the IP is s17.hostsomethingsomething.com if you guys could maybe update that it should look more professional n' such also the forum home page could use an update maybe make it more colourful or include the donation button/show off some of the player builds.
Just dropping in to say I miss you all and all your posts lately have seriously brought a smile to my face. Myself and Element still hang out from time to time and of course talk about IG (and how much we would love to bring it back,) and we end up missing the server ourselves. Maybe one day soon we can get another server going, but at the very least I know some of you guys want the IG map for personal use, and i'm going to do my best to make sure you guys can get your hands on it. Just let me know here what the interest is like for having a copy.

Hey guys, sorry for being missing. The last day of the server running will be November 27 I believe. We still have no official word on the plans, but at this point, we don't think the server will live on past that date.
I'll be there and who knows maybe spellsword or abderus who may be reading this may come on aswell....

Alright guys... its been such a great run and it has been so much fun I really want to thank the admins for a very fun year and a bit It's sad to see it go even though i wasn't around for the lat month or so... We are beginning something new for Infinity Gate! A building competition! We have laid out a large area with plots available for players to claim and build a structure over the next month or so. When the competition is over, a winner will be chosen and will receive Tier 3 VIP! Of course, there will be runner up prizes and those will be announced soon.
The theme will be loose where we ask only that your build be "old timey." That can be, wild west, medieval, steampunk, if you are unsure ask an admin before beginning.
All builds will use items provided from survival by the player and plots are to be used by one person, although supplies can be donated to anyone. Ask an admin how to get started online!

I had a good idea that I may have pitched to the admins I know with citizens you can have mobs go in a track so I thought it would be awesome of the horses would just loop around a fence and they good joust sorta or just go in a track behind obstacles etc
