I'm also wondering if there's a way to add music to specific environments? Like when the normal music would play, indeed it would play a song that you added yourself depending on where you are. Like you could add some songs for nighttime, some for day, underground, nether, ect.
Hmm… well, you could just adjust the saturation or lightness using a photo editor. And when you say lumber, do you mean the logs or the wooden planks?
EDIT: Yet more new textures. At this rate, I may finish Buildcraft Core in the next couple of days. Added gates. Also got some lamps for Redpower, using some of the alt wool textures. Hope whoever is doing the redpower textures doesn't mind.
Pipe Gates
Lamps
Tried, looked bad in game. I'm not good at this stuff. Maybe I'll just steal one from another 32x pack
You can always swap it out with one of the many alternate textures. There are currently 4 full sheets of alternates, and a 5th is being worked on. Just find a texture that you like and copy it over to the texture sheet using a photo editor that allows for transparencies (ie. Photoshop or GIMP).
Looked through alternates and none of them are bright like the normal lumber.
I am so glad you put up a paypal button. I've sent you 25 EUR/Approximately 27.00 USD. You, sir, are a wonderful person and you deserve the ability to do your work.
Now, to address everbody else:
My dear fellow Minecraftians,
Those of us who love this mod, we are aware of this extremely dire situation. I for one cannot sit idly by and wait for someone else to help. Therefore, I shall be rendering my services in an attempt to raise funds for Hurricanaaane. I am an artist. I'm not the best artist, but people have paid me for my work in the past. This time, I do not want you to pay me... I want you to pay Hurricaaane.
If you like what I do, send me a note with your artistic request. I will attempt to draw it for you. In return, please make a small donation to Hurricaaane's Paypal button on the first post of the thread. It is my hope that a hand-drawn (via tablet) picture at 1024x1024 resolution will be worth at least 10 dollars to you; therefore I will strive for 25. In the end, you decide.
TL;DR: DONATE TO HURRICAAANE, GET FREE ART.
With love, tolerance, and many brohoofs, ~Stonehawk/Cyclone Dusk
Yes it is.. However... I built a tree farm and used some leaf blocks as trim around it as it was inside a cave.. The outer leaves of the growing trees connected up with some of the leaves I had placed and when I farmed the trees, those leaves decayed.
I build lots of tree houses and other leave/wood related buildings, and I've always followed this that I read on the wiki. "leaf blocks decay unless they are within 4 blocks of a log block, and connected to the log by other leaf blocks."
So I'm going to farm some more wood and leaves to finish my massive tree and I see my brother built a little tree house on his roof. I go to check it out and I notice the leafs are not following the rule, and I'm wondering why they haven't decayed.
So to test this I went to to the top of my massive tree I'm building and take away some wood blocks and call it a night. The next morning I get up to check on the leaves and they're still there.
Confused and slightly frustrated because I probably could have saved a lot of wood, I've come here to ask you guys what's going on.

Hope to see some jungle ambiance in the future.

Would like more confirmation before I start remaking my city.

I already use ovo's rustic/misas, I don't need a texture pack.
You really don't know what I'm talking about here do you now?

Nature overhaul and mo creatures effect gameplay and are not cosmetic.
I might look into the water shader though.

So I'm wondering if there's a list of cosmetic mods (only effecting visual and/or sound)
