There are many mods that allow you to interact with smaller parts of a single block already so I don't see why it couldn't be implemented.

posted a message on Minecraft Will Not Open (Possibly Larger Issue)
My Minecraft Launcher will not open anymore. Neither will my Technic launcher. The only things that have changed since the last time I played is that I installed Avast!, and I tried to install the ATLauncher to use the yogscast pack.

When I tried to install the ATLauncher, nothing happened. And now, nothing happens when I use any other minecraft launchers. I thought it was Avast! at first but it still does not work after uninstalling it. I also tried reinstalling Java, but that has done nothing.

DOES ANYONE KNOW WHATS GOING ON

Both Avast! and mbabm returned no virus.

No error codes, nothing. No idication of any problems or conflicts, I have no idea hwo to fix this. Might be time for a system wipe and reinstall.

Bought a server a few weeks ago, haven't been able to connect once yet. Have tried with multiple computers and ISPs. I asked for a refund and you guys told me to wait until it was fixed, I assume just so you could get past the refund time-frame. Won't be recommending your service to anyone, or ever using your service again.

posted a message on Need helping testing if game runs on XP/Vista
I'm testing my programming abilities by remaking Asteroids and I want to make sure I know how to build a program that runs on all Windows platforms.

I have been able to run it on 7 and 8, but so far my friends have had issues with Vista and haven't tried it on XP.

    http://www.mediafire.com/?79pxv2dr9c54kai

You most likely need to download http://www.microsoft.com/en-ca/download/details.aspx?id=30679 first. Choose the x86 one as the program is 32bit.

    Thanks in advance.

(The game is not even close to complete so don't expect it to be)

posted a message on Let's bring Halo 3 to PC

Would be cool, but it's not likely to happen any time soon since the Halo franchise is a Xbox 360 system seller.

Halo 3 isn't even being manufactured anymore and hasn't been for years. Halo 3 doesn't sell xboxs.

The label looks nothing like mine. Also, there is no line around "Nintendo" inside the cartridge.

The board is also completely different.

posted a message on Why the hate against usernames with numbers?
    Quote from Leostereo

Because I see a nickname as something that should be like a real name, but still not, it should also be somewhat short and easy to remember.

A good nickname in my opinion is something like Notch, Alanay, Croco, Squip etc.

Adding numbers will ruin the easy-to-remember and nameish look to it, and therefor ruining my point of view on a good nickname.

IMO, a nickname is entirely different than a forum name.

I feel that forum names should not look like real names, and when they do, they look boring or they look like they were trying to hard to sound cool.

It's hard to explain how I feel, it's just that when I think of forums, I think of "NomCats42", not "Joe".

I also don't see how adding numbers to a name increases the difficulty of remembering said name. If anything it makes it easier for me to remember them, since I can just look at the number.

posted a message on Why the hate against usernames with numbers?
I don't care. My cousin made my first email for me when I was 10, which was axman10. It just stuck. There was no creativity on my part, as I didnt make the name.

It's the xxXX XXxx that es me off.

Numbers in a name isn't unoriginal. It's only unoriginal if a persons name was taken so they added numbers.

I found a save of mine from alpha and I was wondering if there is anyway I could convert it up to the current version to play it. I know that it will get all messed up when I load new chunks, but I had enough loaded in it that I would be fine, I just want to revisit my first real big build.
