Just a question i cant seem to figure out.
The plugin runs nice had no lag whatso ever from it but i have the following issue:
Everyone can see everyone leading to hunting/killing of each other. I would like it so they can only see themselves.
How do i set this in the config file?
Do i need to use the login area for that?
Can you NOT use the login screen to limit vision, or to allow see all on admins thru permission?
I cant seem to get the login registration thing to work even when i did try it. It would give me the number in game , but when entered it would just say invalid.

Feb 8, 2011Geesh, the past month has all but killed my server with all the down time at prime time playing hours..Posted in: Discussion
We either need better, and more servers to handle the load, or a change in the verification method.
I be more then happy to be able to store skins on my server for the main players to call it from, and what ever verification information might be needed. As in once someone is verifed on your server it saves a packet or something that knows they are legit and lets them in... Been rather silly lately.
Feb 8, 2011Just an idea, but can you list the plugins you use? what wrapper? bukkit?mcadmin? none?Posted in: Minecraft Survival Servers (archive)
while the info is not absolutely needed, its nice to know in ahead of time what sort of set up your have going or plan on using.
I am more interesting in knowing.
-do you need to buy land by earning your way thru shop use?jobs?
-are protections in place (asking this mainly cause with a whitelist i often find no protection.)
-any specific themes you are going by? medieval, middleeastern, or what not?
This information might catch more peoples attention then just waiting for a whitelist on a server with no idea as to what it is all about.
Hope to see meetcha soon.

Dec 20, 2010Fast overview: mobs=yes pvp=yes/in wilderness trade/money=yes easy place to become rich=noPosted in: Minecraft Survival Servers (archive)
Well you can pretty much do anything you like. The world is Pvp, and not a very easy place to excell. You have the choice to just live off the land out in the wilderness, or try and amass enough money to have your land protected.Or go the cheaper route and buy land in city.
Our money is iConomy based, and the coins are called Trade-Bars. Player shops will be avialable when iConomy finally supports them and they work correctly.
Titles are mostly land owned/protected area presently although new titles/groups are in consideration for the loner who wants nothing to do with "civilized lands"
Griefing is frowned upon, but if you live in the wilderness expect it! City life is so much easier.
You can make money by selling certain items to shops, or to other players. Maybe even get hired to perform a job for someone. Sever stores presently always buy iron, gold, coal, redstone, diamonds and sell them, and bread, fish, apples, and other food related goods. Soon as player shops work there will be more shops then you will know what to do with.
You do not have to buy land, you can wonder out in the country and build if you want. DO NOT BUILD huge monolithic structures near cities or other settled lands or there is a good chance they will be griefed/removed.
With enough time invested in the server, you can buy enough land to start selling it. forming a small village, with more land and population you might even make king at some point! its all up to you. Be the best Farmer ever! or wheel and deal to become a Baron.
Hope to see you there!
Player shops, player run towns, cities, money orientated land protection, Not a server for the weak at heart. oh and always carry food cause you know you gotta eat.
