You're thinking of Antialiasing. AA makes edges smoother. AF has a similar function, but not the same. It affects things further away.Quote from UnhandyFir9
Anisotropic Filtering is the level of detail the textures have. The less the amount, the more pixelated textures will look around the image, the more amount, the more smooth/realistic it looks around the edges.

The [V1.0] in the title is very misleading. You should the version the mod is for in the title rather than the version of the mod itself.
Great mod though! Very original ores, and the salted food adds an interesting spin to the normally boring food. 's to you my good sir!
EDIT: Why is copper green? Is that an oxidization thing?
Yes, it's an oxidation thing. I personally didn't make that texture, though. Also, the mod's tag shows the version of Minecraft it's for. (Very outdated, I know)

Yeah, we really have not forgotten about the mod, it's just that the Mod API will make everything much, much simpler for modders.Quote from mekakeisei
Aww, this was exactly what I was looking for and I just came across it, and am really sad to hear that it will be switching to forge as not everything on our server is currently [1.6.2] forge friendly.
Sep 5, 2013Just a notice that, since 1.7 Snapshots are being released now, we will be updating the mod shortly after the release of Minecraft 1.7. It may also be an ideal time to migrate to Minecraft Forge. Once again, sorry for the ridiculous wait, and thanks for all your support.Posted in: Minecraft Mods
Aug 17, 2013Hey guys, I know it's been a SUPER long time since we've updated or said much about the mod. However, we have NOT forgotten about it. I had a busy summer, with my job, and such, so time was minimal. Second, I got a new computer, so I need to grab the code and get it all prepared. Lastly, Jeb has been tweeting about the upcoming 1.7 update, which changes a lot of how biomes generate, along with adding new biomes. We'll have to make loads of changes to the code, no doubt, and we would simply like to wait until the release of Minecraft 1.7 to update. My apologies for not updating. On the bright side, you can use the launcher to revert back to Minecraft 1.5. Cheers.Posted in: Minecraft Mods

Glad you found sapphire and endium. Its endgame stuff, so it's gotta be a bit tricky. Anyhow, I'll see what I can do about the Exp Ore. (I may have derped and deleted the spawning code.. xD)Quote from orlandok
Hi again! Here's another update with what I've encountered since my last post!
I found sapphire! This was my first mod gemstone!
I noticed that when you mine salt you get a lot more xp than anything else, that's not bad, though.
I still haven't found experience ore...
Noticed that endium is really really hard to find
Anyways, thank you again! and I'm very excited for the forge update!

Yes, I suppose so. As long as you include a link back to this topic (NOT a direct download link, please.) Just make sure you give all credit. If we think it's good, we may even post it here on the OP. Post back when your review is done!Quote from Cassteal
Can I make a ModReview for this, please?

I thought that fortune was supposed to work like that... or that's how you made it work..Quote from GLaDOSguy
I'd like to apologize for Awesomelf's state of denial. Do you know exactly which ores are the ones that are broken?

Wow, thanks a lot. It means a lot to get support. As for the fortune pickaxe, we spent hours and hours fine-tuning it, so it does indeed operate how it's intended to. Experience Ore should spawn, but I'll have to check the code and make sure nothing is wrong. Thanks for the support!Quote from orlandok
This is an awesome mod! It's currently my main mod, I use it as with nothing else. It works like an absolute charm! I have also fooled many people by saying this is beta version 2.0 haha! Just want to say keep up the good work! I have ran into a few hiccups though, as using it all the time.
With most of the mineral blocks, you can place it, mine it with a "fortune" pickaxe, then you will get more than one. Doesn't seem right.. haha. Also, you often get more than 1 ore block when mining tin, copper, witherite, etc ore with fortune. And one last thing, I'm not sure that experience ore has spawned... I can't seem to find it anywhere, and I have probably spent 15+ hours looking.
over though a tremendous mod! Keep bringing those updates! I made this account so I could express my gratitude

The ores are fairly rare, and the gemstones spawn in specific biomes. See the OP for more details. And I'm not sure why you're having that issue, it hasn't come up before. We can see them when we install. The only advice I have to give (for now, at least) is to make sure you installed all of the textures properly. Glad you like the mod.Quote from Bella458
I installed this mod and loved it although I can't seem to find sapphire or amethyst (even in creative) Am I just being stupid or are these ores just very rare?
Jun 18, 2013Hey everybody, just wanted to let you all know that the next update to the mod will indeed be Forge compatible. This, however, means dropping all Modloader support in favor of not having to write the mod twice with each update. I doubt anyone will really miss Modloader, since you all have been begging for Forge for a good while now. Anyway, I just wanted to say that development on the Forge version has started.Posted in: Minecraft Mods
