There are both good and bad things about these new mechanics, more specificly and worst, there will be new hacks/mods that'll make hackers more annoying and more powerful than they already are. Not just for their opponents but also to servers as they'll need to find a way to combat any new hacks.
Also, attack speed, to me is making fighting mobs more boring and not enjoyable, same goes for PvP too, when fighting a player its just like fighting a creeper. attack > retreat > attack > repeat this sequence every 0.8 seconds :/
I feel bad for all mapmakers since balancing maps to these new mechanics will be annoying. I mean, I'm fine with potion arrows and shields (thought I still don't think we need an arrow for every potion) but attack speeds make the game more like Runescape or something where you just stare at your opponent more than fight. Take that out and I'm perfectly fine with everything else.
Also, why the hell are shovels more powerful than swords?

So there are many mods that have no plans to update above 1.7.10...but there's new stuff in MC versions 1.8+.
This got me thinking, what if there was a mod for 1.7.10 that added stuff from 1.8+ (and no, I do not mean the combat changes)? Now, idk if this breaks any copyright stuff of Mojang but, if it doesn't, I think it'd be cool to at least have some of the blocks and mobs from said versions.
This is just an idea though, but if this breaks no copyright stuff of Mojang, it'd be something cool to have for those stuck in 1.7.10~

So I love playing mods but I like to use only the ones that I like and not public packs or stuff like that.
This being the case, I have a question about the various mob launchers.
So far I see MultiMC is best for what I am looking for but then I saw AT Launcher (which I'm assuming works the same?)
I am sorry if this doesn't go here but I'm curious what launcher I should be using for this stuff.

If your asking how expensive it is for a ticket, they're all gone already.

Hi there, I am really wanting to play your maps because they look so interesting but, as someone who doesn't know how to work with .rar files, if there a way you could upload the maps in zipped files?
If you can't then I understand^^

As cool of an idea as this is, I think it'd be better suited as a mod than the vanilla game.

So I know tickets are linked to a full name but I have a question about that.
I, myself, do not have a personal ID (driver's licence, etc.) so how will they know the name on the ticket is actually mine (since people have the nerve to just buy the tickets just to sell them for a higher price on other websites)? That brings me to my question I do have an ID to show at Minecon with my ticket to get in? I do have an ID from school but idk if that's enough to cut it.
I'd like to get an answer as I don't want to have bought a ticket only to not be able to get in over something like that.

Ah, thanks for clearing that up for me^^ I have now completed the map and I must say I've thoroughly enjoyed myself Sad that it had to come to an end though but, that just means I have any other maps you put out to look forward to :3

I'm loving CM4 so far, the areas and are just stunning and the lore gives a nice little bit of insight on where you are and stuff :3
I'm currently at the Green Wool but I noticed something. The command block in chat gives the area a different name than what's written on the sign so I don't actually know if the Shard amount shown in the chat matches the area itself due to the different name.
Just a little think I felt I should point out as it confuses me^^;

Just finished WInterhole Arena and had a blast with it~ You're abilities never cease to amaze me^^
Loved the names of all the monsters too, hated the firebats but luckily I'm a marksman with a bow.
I'm happy you found another site for your maps, more people need to know about the epicness that is them
