    Plus peaceful.

    Pretty sure it affects how much health they have and damage you take from everything(including falling)

    Its broke right now, definently needs to be more then it is right now...though this rate might be ok for SMP.......definently not enough for SP though

    Oh yeah, I should have added I still want mobs to be back at least the way they were, I mean, with a 4 hour session, I saw no pigs, no skeletons, no spiders, no creepers, only sheep and zombies, and even then it was the same group of sheep the entire time, and a zombie spawner(though there was some stray zombies aswell, only about 4 of them).
    Heck, I thought it was kind of broken before, now its really broken D:

    I have figured out whats happening, not seen it mentioned anywhere yet, but the mobs are now persistant
    In a new game I made today, I didnt find anything for ages(as I mentioned already), but then I found a whole bunch of sheep over a hill which I decided to make my base, so the first thing I did was punch all their wool off, then after digging under the hill for awhile I noticed across the water a really interesting piece of terrain so I explored it, found a cave with some iron and a bunch of zombies, and a zombie spawner! I was about 3 blocks below the room which was completely sealed, so I dug out pits around the perimeter of the room every 2 blocks, so the zombies can fall in but cant get to me, I found the chest and looted it from below and dug to the center up under the spawner. So; infinite feathers :biggrin.gif:
    Anyway, so I went back to my base, to find the exact same sheep were there, with their wool still missing, which means its properly saving them instead of having them despawn.
    I know "saving" was in before this update, but only those surrounding you when you exit, I am fairly sure.
    And when I was working on my farm I had a sheep fall down and stare at me through my door......


    I tell you though, hearing the zombies is much creepier then seeing them, if I can see them I know where they are, if I cant, you start to think they might be sneaking up on you and keep looking behind you :tongue.gif:

    Yeah I am disappoint.

    I spent an entire day and night in a freshly generated world, on Normal difficulty, no sheep, no pigs, no monsters, anywhere! I then tried it on Easy, saved and reloaded and walked around a bit, still nothing, did the same for Hard, still nothing.

    Oh, and this has happend to me...but only once, in indev, playing in the "Hell" theme, never has happend to me in infdev or /game/, kinda makes me sad :sad.gif:

    Honestly, creepers to me now are fluffy little green things...that give gunpowder, zombies are the second least harmless, skeletons and spiders...those I try to avoid, spiders are almost impossible to kill with a sword without taking damage, infact, the last treasure room I found...I had it on EASY, I couldnt even see the treasure room before I saw like 4 spiders crawling at me from the darkness, I got surrounded and died, I think I died twice more before I set it to peaceful, sealing up the room, setting it back to easy and opening a gap in the room to kill the newly spawned spiders, then rushing in and destroying the spawner, though that was after notch disabled getting the spawner so I didnt get it :sad.gif:
    And yes I know I could have just destroyed the spawner with it on peaceful, but thats not how I roll

    Furnaces are easy, since they place predictably, and never change their facing once placed, essentially, if you are placing it out in the open with no blocks around it, itll face you, I believe if you place it against a wall with no other blocks, usually it faces away from the wall, if its in a corner(or against a wall beside something like a chest or workbench), it could face either way(and usually not the way you want), so just make sure you have 3 blocks around it, with the missing direction the way you want it facing, then delete the unwanted blocks.
