After a doa motherboard, OS problems, and the wrong disk drive, my new build is finally done!

Your phone works for other outgoing calls, right? Not everyone goes straight to voicemail?
Do you know where your dad landed? Maybe call local businesses, hotels, etc, maybe a nearby mechanic to see whether they made contact with him. Maybe even call the police station there to see whether they know anything.
There's no harm in looking into it.
I called my friend yesterday, and he landed at the local airport in Lake Charles, LA, where he lives. (in the city, not at the airport)
Are your dad and brother in the same place? Like, do they live together, and would it be normal for one's happenings to affect the other? Does your dad pay for your brother's cell phone, and maybe they're both not working or something?
Or is it some really strange coincidence that both of their phones are unreachable?
They don't live with each other, and my Dad pays for my phone, so mine would be out if he forgot the bill.
A few days ago, both my Dad and my Brother's phones started going straight to voicemail. They also stopped answering any of my texts. It is still happening. I haven't been able to contact either of them for 4 days, which is unheard of, considering my dad basically lives on his phone. I could call him at 2:00am and he would answer. My brother not so much, but it never goes straight to voicemail. I can't visit my dad, as he is an 8 hour drive, but I am going to stop by my bro's house tomorrow. The last time I heard from my dad, he was flying a (small) airplane up to visit me, but he had a coolant leak, and had to turn around and land. He called me then, and that's the last I've heard of him.
I really needed to get this out. I can't sleep or do anything at this point.
Anyway, so I want to create an HTPC (Home theater PC) for my Mom, because she keeps bugging me. Budget: $600
What it needs to do:
-Tv Tuner
-Windows 7
-Large HD (1-2TB)
-Pretty case
-Light gaming (low priority)
-Very quiet
I have experience building PCs, but only a big ass gaming rig. I don't have much knowledge of lower end parts, so I'm asking you guys. The only thing I could find on google that was up to date was using a nettop, which doesn't fit our needs quite well enough.
STFU ROMAN. And before you ask NO I do not want to go to a titty bar, NO I do not want to go bowling, NO I do not want to play darts. LEAVE. ME. ALONE.
Now back on topic, it looks fine but it looks a tiny bit pixely with movement in dark areas. I'm not sure if that is from youtube's encode or yours.
It's from my encoder. I did a little bit too low quality on the h.264 settings.
I got Fraps finally (as in legally) since I got my new PC. Can you tell me what you think about the quality? I messed up the encoder a bit though, so it's a bit grainy at 1080p.

It really is. I usually end up teaching the teachers more than the teachers teach me :sleep.gif:
Internet learning ftw!

Ouch. Mine didn't get stitched right, so I could still see inside while it was healing. Not very fun to look at...
