So going beyond what everyone else here said, the OP account was created just 4 days ago. Look it up... it shows 2 posts. 1st post: asking for help in 1.5.2. 2nd post: saying he can't afford MC w/o pirating. Yeah... I think we all know what he's doing.

UPDATE TO 1.7 PLEASE I LIKE THIS PACK BUT ITS IN 1.6 :(

Try actually READING the past few pages of posts about why it's not updated before yelling.
PS: That's what typing in all caps on the internet is: Yelling. And it's rude as [beep].

That is really good news. But i am a little surprised that Misa did not even wrote a single post in months. (even when she is moving) If she just posted: "i am really busy but alive. Expect new update in about five months" ... than i would be happy. But as she is not answering at all, i'm still worried

maybe because she's been moving and hasn't had internet (or if she has, hasn't had time) and unless you've moved before, you don't know how much of a pain moving can be. It saps your free time. (more with next quote)

    Quote from Zuzax
Unless you are in the rugged Alaskan wilderness somewhere, in a third-world country, or in prison, you almost can't avoid getting online. These days, the ubiquity of smartphones, 4G wireless, free WiFi at cafes, free internet terminals at Public Libraries, and many other free or cheap access points makes it seem like a conscious decision to avoid the many ways one can go online cheaply, easily or even for free. Not saying that it couldn't happen at all, but that it seems, well, curious.

or if you're struggling financially (where you can't afford something for internet access) or moving cross country (where you don't know the area well enough) you can't get online. I don't know what the whole situation is, but from what I've read in her previous posts on this thread, a long absence with little to no communication was to be expected.

I think we all know Misa from her posts well enough to know that if she had something she wanted us to know about her health or whereabouts, she wouldn't send in some anonymous person claiming to be her RL friend whose profile doesn't even give their age, gender, or location to deliver the first information we've heard about her for 6 months. I've reported your post and hope others will do the same.

or maybe what I said in reply to the last quote... YOUR REASONS FOR REPORTING ARE INVALID and I hope no one else does the same!

I think you are assuming too much here. For all we know, saotomato could actually be one of Misa's IRL friends. If saotomato isn't shame on him/her but, lets be glad we have anything at all that could potentially point us to Misa's current whereabouts. I really do think we will hear from Misa soon but, patience is key in the current situation. I have always found Misa's work to be amazing and I would love to design an adventure map using her epic resource pack in a completed state. :)

All I have to say here is: totally agree, and good that some people have a good head on their shoulders.

IN SUMMARY: We only know the basics. Speculation and assumptions are pointless. At least we heard something from her hopefully legit IRL friend. All we can do is be patient.

PS: I can't believe so many of my posts are going to saying the same things over and over.

Can I port this pack into PE and upload in Korean MCPE Community and My Blog? I will give you full credit, post link. and I won't upload that anywhere except there

I'm thinking you might need to PM her this question (will also help if she needs to find where she gave/didn't give permission should something come up).

I am sorry I personally offended you and dishonored your family, I am sorry, but I looked at the last page and people were just saying: Great pack! Which it is, I am not NAGGING, I can very much live without it, plenty of other fish in the sea. I can wait. But in the future, have more patience ok? I am sure Misa can defend herself and does not need you. :) Thanks for understanding.
But 5 posts (not pages) before your initial post of this, someone quoted Misa about the moving thing.

Additionally, the requests for updates and the questions about Optifine are the two most common posts I personally see, and a search (or search chain) for what your looking for can answer any posts you might have without having to post yet another post most of us are tired of reading (She will update when a: it's ready, and b: her real life is taken care of (that takes priority)).

Simple solution to these posts (specifically, the "is it ready" post) is to do a search (in this case, first search "update", then, after reading some posts, search "moving" (should be a logical conclusion)).

One more thing: 1.7 introduced a ton of new biomes and some new texture resource coloring that had to be re-done and worked out. It is no surprise that it would take longer to get things ready to awesomeness.

    Quote from RandomEngy

I'm getting a village that forms after the process starts and won't go away, even after a complete reset:

Here's the village markers mod showing it:
    http://engy.us/misc/...nch_issue_1.png
    http://engy.us/misc/...nch_issue_2.png
    http://engy.us/misc/...nch_issue_3.png

    World download (Vanilla Single-player 1.6.2):
    http://engy.us/misc/Hammerstone.zip
    (At X: -376, Z: -450)

I checked that sky access is blocked 5 blocks west and east of the doors that is claims are in the structure. And if I break the doors and replace them the village disappears and doesn't come back until I try to rebuild, in which case it returns and persists; I think it's causing the building process to fail.

    Ideas would be appreciated.

Not sure what difficulty you play on, but because of the terrain, your villager is actually at risk from Zombie attack through the diagonal glass (I just did some tests in my creative world).
Here I added some glass around the holding area:

The results of my test: if on the same level, Zombies CAN attack a villager through diagonals of glass VERY easily. If the villager is raised (as is most cases), Zombies MIGHT attack a villager through diagonals (would require Zombies crowding around and pushing into, possibly baby Zombies)... Most cases, this is how it's designed and your villagers are typically safe.

I recommend a more secure border around your villager at the secondary structure (there was no villager when I downloaded the world).

I have not tested it running with a villager there, but without the villager, it definitely won't work. I recommend for the rest of the analysis to wait for Ghost to post his findings as well.

Edit: Ghost edited his reply above with the rest of the solution

Edit2: image in spoiler deleted from photobucket.

sometimes I think a general forum announcement needs to be made that if you want to post something (and issue, particularly), to use the search feature to see if it's already been addressed in the topic.

Detector Rails: already been addressed and will be fixed next texture pack version
White Water: already been addressed and will be fixed next texture pack version
Zip Compression Issue (just in case it comes up AGAIN): already been addressed and will be fixed next texture pack version

    that's just for starters.

and this is just a PSA... of sorts.

Misa: I understand you will be repacking it with the next update, but I thought you'd like to know the error I got with 7zip on both the main download & mirror 2 (mirror 3 did not have anything for me to download... "Download permission denied by uploader.")
"Unsupported Compression Method for [FileNameHere]" 235 times.
All I was doing was unzipping the pack to view the image files & figure out which ones to replace with "alts" from the last time I was able to use your pack (4.6/4.7)...

Also, could you make Birch planks have the same random variety as Oak/Jungle planks, but let the slabs have the border around them that makes them look like little boxes (if you need a screen to see what I'm talking about, I can get one ready in no time flat when I finally have time). If you don't want to, it's cool (I'll just do it myself anyway... just a matter of deleting the right CTM & letting every Birch plank look the same).

    Quote from Misa

Well hell... All that work after I got back from vacation for nothing. I was going to update today for last week's snapshot and just add any new textures that were introduced in today's snapshot. But Mojang's decided to utterly destroy the living hell out of my current texture pack with the new texture pack format (even after using their conversion tool). Their high-res texture support is currently pretty atrocious and inefficient. Despite breaking terrain.png into a bunch of separate files, they're still stitched to an fake terrain.png before being broken up again... Why? I have no damn clue. But it makes this new format seem 100% pointless. And over that it's pretty much destroyed my texture pack in its last, good, working state.

So yeah, now I dunno what I'm going to do...

I can do one of the following:
    1) Assemble an update for last week's snashot and release it today to be met with a lot of confusion with people trying to run it on today's snapshot.
    2) Release no update to be met with people asking me to update for the one particle that's missing from fireworks or for the last snapshot that they're still running.
    3) Attempt to adapt my pack to the new format and release a mess of a texture pack that looks worse than it did in 2009.
    4) Acknowledge that I had a good run for three years and just call it quits.

There's probably some other options, but I'm too irritated and baffled by the current situation to think of them... Thanks Mojang.

I really hope you do not choose option 4. Seeing as how Mojang is shooting for Feb.-Mar. for full release (give or take), option's 1 or 2 (which you could put a brief explanation in the title and the very top of the 1st post) could work for now and take your time getting the whole thing ready for full release of 1.5 (If I have to use the snapshot on the server I play on, I'll live with default textures for now). Anyone who truly loves this texture pack should understand and be patient. Your texture pack is the ONLY one I see with a lava bucket & diamond when I scroll through looking for the latest post.

    (I see you just posted...)

(and my pizza just got here :P )

great chance to catch up from your vacation/sick time... that's some good news.
