People love being so negative towards Mojang, just because 1.3 was pushed back another month. Server addition means LAN support, something no company offers these days. Why make a LAN support? Just make it internet support only! </fail> Sheesh at least people won't need a server host, given they all share the same internet connection. Means a family or few friends can be online, without a host and NOT public for others to screw with.
Sure it means less money for server hosts, but I'm sure they can get by with normal customers. Instead of a publicly hosted server for a few people, this means less money spent and few issues of server downtime also. I'm all for waiting another month to see things focused on, soon they plan on overhauling the rendering engine and more. So it's a simple task for few coders honestly. Also they're like anyone else. We all require food, rest, etc so why should they be treated differently? It's nice to harp on someone for being slow, but there's a limit to how annoying you need to be.
So many people actually get on the hill to rage, but not so many bother appreciating the time / work it takes. If you think you're so capable, then try doing some fixes yourself. Show you can find better solutions to the problems, it's not right to just put the coders down over this. Why don't you take a look at the full 1.3 changelog so far, and see how much WAS added to the game over that time. Honestly I love the new additions and it's infuriating I don't have it now, but I'd rather a stable and enjoyable game to be honest.
Look through the entire thread and point out how many appricated things, then tally them up against those who are raging over everything. I think it goes to show there's an easy sense of following people, when we don't get our way and make a rage fit out of things. Yet there's less inclination to make an appreciation following, to actually show your support for those who are doing this for everyone.
Very well said, people just can't seem to appreciate how much time Mojang is actually putting into this update, just because they want it NOW! -
Jul 5, 2012AsiAticStaTiC posted a message on Snapshot 27a; 1.3 NewsOh the world of gaming, I hate that everyone is complaining because they're not getting want they want personally. I don't undstand why people can't just enjoy what they have and be happy. Everyone here whining right are the ones that will never be happy with a game unless they develop it themselves and they probably still wont be happy with what they created .Posted in: News

I'd prefer not to spend much more than $60 on it
I'll go ahead and throw this question in here. I plan on buying a decent SSD later down the road, would it be practical to install the OS on there once it has already been installed on the HDD?

Its the Corsair CX500M ATX 12V 80+ Bronze Semi-Modular. CrossFire ready.

I did a little research for you, and this is what I gathered from multiple sources. While some areas of PS, AE, and SV are multi-threaded, some are not,. I think it would be in your best interest to look up which areas are, so you can judge whether or not the purchase of an 8350 would be justified. Because who knows, you may be thinking you'll have better performance in an area you're not looking to use mostly.

Sweet, now here's my biggest concern, my PSU, Will a 500W be sufficient be enough for this build?

Ok, thanks for all the help.
How about the GPU. The R9 270X over the R9 280 3G?

How about the 4590 over the 4460?

I've been doing a little research as well as posting around elsewhere on the internet and I've gotten a few suggestions from other people that I would like to get opinions on from you guys.
- Some people told me that if I change my MOBO and get the i5 3470 instead of the 4460, it would be a little cheaper and the performance would be almost identical. Thoughts?
- If viable I considered doing the above OR upgrading the 4460 to the 4590, would the performance on the 4590 be any more significant than the 4460 to justify its price bump?
Thanks!

P.S - If you didnt notice the little compatibility note at the bottom, here it is.
The Corsair Graphite Series 230T Black ATX Mid Tower Case has front panel USB 3.0 ports, but the Asus M5A78L-M LX PLUS Micro ATX AM3+ Motherboard does not have onboard USB 3.0 headers.

I know the 212 gets VERY close to blocking slots, but thats just from what I've seen. The way I've seen it, it seems the RAM has to be installed before the cooler or you'll have a hard time trying to slot it. But then again that's only from what I've seen.

Also, the power certification, it basically a way of telling that the unit will perform at more than 80% energy efficiency at a certain percentage, If that means anything to you, I hope I didn't botch that explanation too much
