So recently I had an issue where my Minecraft was crashing every time I launched the game, this was made worse by the fact it was stuck in full screen. I had the full screen issue fixed but Minecraft is still crashing consistently. It occasionally works and I think it has something to do with lag, but I and been able to run it on my other computer where lag was more of an issue flawlessly. It will run occasionally, and for some reason it has also gotten worse than before, not to mention this is a relatively new issue for me. When I first got the computer it was just fine, and I have only two other games including Conan Exiles and Ark Survival Evolved, I do run mods with Ark however.
I can't find the "crash-reports" file, I was able to change it off of full screen and I thank you for that. My game works fine now (if you call fine me repeatedly opening and closing the game till it works after the 3rd of 4th time XD other than that I can actually play now and I'm happy for that) Just as i suspected it being in full screen caused it to lag slightly more, making it crash 100% of the time, now that's I'm out of full screen it works with repeated opening like before XD. That I can actually deal with luckily. So thank you very much ConorGarland!
Hi, I'd like some help with my game. I have recently gotten a new laptop and installed Minecraft as well as two other games. I can open the launcher just fine as always, but when the game loads in on the main page, it immediately crashes. I have tried uninstalling Minecraft several times now, and the problem was also made worse by the fact that I accidentally put it in full screen mode just before I got off. Now it does it every time as to how it was before, doing it five to ten times before it decides to work. I can't figure out what's wrong with it, its not even the worlds because I cant get past the main menu. I tried spamming f11 before It loaded in to try and get it out of full screen but, that didn't work. Is there anything I might be able to do to fix this issue?
