Weird, it appears to work flawlessly now. Oh well, haha.
Another suggestion/idea that's not so much about incompatibility as it is compatibility (if that makes any sense ). The Underground Biomes Constructs mod works pretty well with your mod already, but I'm still occasionally seeing the starts of your streams generating with the standard Minecraft stone, which isn't supposed to happen with that mod installed. A minor thing, I know, I'm not even sure if it's something you can control, but I thought I'd mention it just so you're aware.
Hey delvr, love the mod. Minecraft is in dire need of a more active environment and I think this mod is a huge step in the right direction.
I'm not sure if you've seen the CaveBiomes mod by WhiskytangoFox, but currently it appears that these two are somewhat incompatible. There's no crashes or anything, your rivers just simply don't generate for some odd reason. WhiskytangoFox briefly talked about this and said that as both mods are in their early stages that's bound to happen. Not sure if there's anything either of you guys can do at this point in time, just kinda getting the word out that they don't work together 100% yet. Would love to see them work together though, WhiskytangoFox even spoke of underground rivers utilizing your mod so that's got me quite excited for the future of both of these mods .
This mod is awesome Mowzie! Keep up the great work. I really like that all these mobs are original ideas that more or less fit the theme of Minecraft. I hope you stick to that!
I have an API for other mods to find the stone that belongs in a particular area. I'd prefer Ted80 used that, as it's far less work than me hacking into his code to alter stone placement. That's actually pretty hard, and doing it for Highlands was a big reason I wrote an API ;-) Can you ask him first? I'm happy to assist, provide a framework, etc.
Alright, posted about it in his thread. Really hope you guys can work something out special for each other's mods because the combination two is already just so amazing Keep up the great work if there's even any left to do, it's already good as a final product to me!
Wow 4HeadTiger, I'm really enjoying what you're doing with this mod, just based off of the concept .jar alone, and what you've said about it. I especially like your ideas about rain and it effecting crop growth. Combine it with the concepts of the Better Rain mod and the Seasons mod (which is making a 1.7.10 return, mind you!) and you could have a full scale agriculture simulation in Minecraft, and that is the kind of depth I've wanted out of the game for a long time. Keep up the good work man. I've got lots of ideas for this mod, both for features and how one could use it, but I'll keep my mouth shut while this thing is still in it's early (but awesome!) stages.
I posted this suggestion over in the Underground Biomes Constructs topic:
span>Hey! Really enjoy this mod, it works GREAT in combination with Ted80's Realistic World Generation mod. May I suggest some special support for that mod? Currently, it uses cobblestone and cyan stained clay to give mountains and cliffs some proper shading. I think it'd be great if, if this mod were installed, the cobblestones would be changed to their respective biome's (much like the boulders in Highland special support), and the cyan stained clay would be changed to one of the darker shaded blocks in this mod.
To which I got Zeno's response:

So yeah, just an idea/request for compatibility between these mods. They already work pretty flawlessly together, I just would like to see some special support between them. Would add to the "realistic" factor of RWG, and you wouldn't even have to add custom blocks for the mountain sides, as I believe I saw you said previously you wanted to avoid custom blocks in place of the Cyan Stained Clay. Thanks again

I'm not sure if that's something that can be controlled on this side of the mod, but it would be great in my opinion. Because, quite frankly, cyan stained clay on mountain tops just doesn't make sense. Really enjoy your mod, though!
Hey Ted, really like your mod, man. Love your use of the layered snow blocks to make the snow dunes. I actually made an infographic using your mod with a snow re-texture to show my suggestion for Minecraft to add layered sand blocks. I know you're against adding blocks to the mod, and I agree, minimal change to the vanilla game is a good thing. But those layered sand blocks would work great in your mod as sand dunes, considering the current sand dunes that use the full sand blocks are about the size of mountains. Like I said, though, really like your mod so far and I'm excited to see what you do with oceans/other additions!

Hmm... I tried a few different times... perhaps its another incompatibility. I'm gonna test it a bit more and I'll get back to you on it.
Really excited about the future of this mod though, especially with all those upcoming features you spoke of!
