May 23rd: Updated with fixes for a number of crashes and added a feature to allow fancy signs to retain their data when broken and placed.
June 21st: Updated with fixes for more crashes that have been effecting people. Also fixed some issues with the reading enchantment and reading glasses.
Now supports Minecraft v1.12.2!
If I can get enough support on patreon, I will post the BiblioCraft source code on GitHub with some sort of limited or open use licence.
My second update spotlight where I explain the changes in v1.11.0
My first update spotlight I've done myself that explains the changes in v1.10.0:
Thanks to my good friend ShabbyQ who made this video that shows off the new features in 1.9.0! Check it out!
Thanks to my good friend ShabbyQ who made this video that shows off the new features in 1.8.0! Check it out!
Includes translations for 22 different languages! See my Github link on my website for more information on translations and opportunities to help translate to new languages.
BiblioCraft takes a lot of my time and if you would like to show your support, donations are more than appreciated. Thanks!! Feel free to use my signature banner! Use this code to post it on the forum or in your own signature:

Also check out my Redstone I/O peripheral mod for ComputerCraft! It adds a peripheral that is meant to connect to lan networks with a lan modem and can easily output or read redstone signals of any strength. Works great for reading the redstone output values of the bookcases with redstone books.

Out of curiosity, why add Block O' Bones? There are plenty of dedicated mods out there that do similar (Mincraft Graves, Lootable Bodies, Open Grave, BaM's Grave, TwoGraves). It's nice that you can disable it and all, but it just feels really out of place to include such a generalized gameplay-affecting thing by default in a mod that I would rather be secluded to its own dimension.
It's more unique in that it includes a compass, but I'd rather that be standalone too so people that would want something like that wouldn't have to install an entire dimension mod just to get its functionality.
On a side note, instead of leaving that compass around, why not have the compass itself act like a sort of key that you need to use on the grave that returns your items and destroys the compass? I tend to prefer against free things, even if it's as small as a single bonemeal.
I hate to sound so critical. I actually love the Erebus mod otherwise.

I'm not into the idea of adding it to chests or Strongholds. This feels like the kind of mod that should be self-contained and not alter any default generation. But that's just me. Maybe adding a rarely generated structure to non-default ages that contains a chest of a symbol would be nice, though. It'd give incentive to explore worlds. Were this to be the case, it'd probably be best for these structures to only appear on purely randomly generated ages. Else one could simply spawn a flat, day-only world and go symbol hunting.
Perhaps because the thing I suggested was not a question. It was a suggestion. People don't go to FAQs to see what's already been suggested. As well, it wasn't even on the FAQ. Unless you bypassed my entire post and went straight to the side-note about making them more costly which, as stated, was merely a side-note.

Writing Desk
For this one to work, it'd probably be best to change the crafting recipe to something like this.
Once you open the UI, there could be a third slot with an empty bottle. Placing an Ink Sac would fill the bottle, which would then be used to add symbols. You would only be able to write more symbols if you had ink. (In my example here it has 8 uses per Ink Sac) This would not only make it so it's not a nearly effortless task, but also add more use to Ink Sacs.
As it is, it seems a near infinite amount of symbols can be added. Even to the point of dragging them into the inventory. A limit should be added to prevent this. It just feels unprofessional.
I'd also like it if crafting recipes for Linking Books and Descriptive Books were much more costly. I'm not sure what to recommend with that, but at this point the recipes are far too easy to create for what they do.
I doubt this'll even be read, let alone implemented by the creator, but hey, I tried.

Basically, when creating a topic, you'd have an option to the right.
When you click it, you'd get the option to add a URL or browse and upload a file (Maybe only add a URL for bandwidth purposes).
After posting the topic, your downloads will show up at the bottom of the post.
Viewing it in the forums, it'll have the total amount of downloads you've accumulated.
This would likely only be available to the Minecraft Mods (and WIP Mods), Texture Packs, Maps, Language Packs and Minecraft Tools forums (and any others that may have downloading expectations)
Sorry if I'm not descriptive enough, I'm poor at explaining things and usually allow my images to talk for me.
All positioning, graphics and values are of course subject to change.

This, though I'm not fond of the layout, would probably be the smarter way to do it.
This would be prettier, but less balance-able. The player could merely expend all but a small amount of the lower end of the sword, then refresh it to a full, more powerful sword (assuming you can't make it so the used bit of the lower part is taken from the larger sword).

Suggestions:
- Make the ores blend a lot better with the environment, they don't fit at all with the Minecraft theme.
- The Zealots shouldn't be sticking their arms out like a Zombie, that doesn't make sense to me.
- Make it so the Zealots have a visible blade attached to their wrist when provoked. This'll both improve the aesthetic and be functional so you know whether or not to approach them.
- Improve the sprites, they don't really look good. Keep in mind minerals are a much lighter blue.
- Change the apparent vespene gas containers to cubes instead of cylinders. I believe the Protoss used cubes.
- Make it so the ores are placed on top of the world in bundles, similar to flowers. It'd be better if you could make them have a flower-based sprite (obviously retextured to look like minerals) too and still be mineable with a pickaxe. (Not sure if this is possible, but it'd be neat)
These are my personal thoughts. If all this was implemented, I'd seriously consider downloading.
