    Thank you all for the kind words.
    A few nice comments every now and then really helps keep me going.

    I can not include Optifine because the mod's author does not grant permission.
    His main reason is that different versions of Optifine work on different systems.
    People can install it themselves after AMCO if they like.
    It is usually compatable, but I have not checked it myself.
    You can usually also increase FPS a lot by lowering the render distance from "far" to "normal" or less.
    And, switching back to the default 16x16 textures can also help.

    It is one of my favorites. Definitely in my to 10.

    Thanks for the heads up Monstervt.

    Sorry about that glitch, but super happy someone is finally able to download and play.
    Looks like someting internal to the mod, or perhaps a conflict with the HD texture fix.
    I'll download mDiyo's latest version of the mod and have a look tonight.

    I see 'Tinker's Construct' is at rev 15 now, and we are using rev 9, so hopefully that works out.
    Also, mDiyo has is 'Natura' mod updated now.
    It's similar to more biomes, but also works in the Neather, so that is worth looking into.

    Hello again everyone.

    THE END templates I've been promising are done.
    I've also updated the rotation mappings to include ladders, signs, huge mushrooms, and more tripwire hooks.
    (However, there still seems to be some glitches, usually with things that point west.)
    I'm still haveing trouble with snow based traps triggering on world gen.
    My guess is the code is using something like PlaceBlockWithNotify.
    The Notify caused a block update, which makes the snow go away.
    So, I've just replaced snow with stone for now (usually rule 7).

    Sneaky add gnomes those guys are, and therefore out for good.

    'Forge' is included in AMCO's download.
    You don't need to install it yourself.
    Just install AMCO's files into a fresh inatall of the game as per instructions, and that's it.
    No, really. :)

    Download link has been converted to DropBox.
    MediaFire keeps flagging my files as copyrighted, which perhaps they are, except I have written permission to redistribute.
    Guess I'll have to figure that out later.

    Not sure what the problem is.
    I copy pasted the webpage into a text editor so I could see everything better and noticed the medifire link had been changed to ..minecraftterrorist... or some sutch.
    That's been deleted.
    Another fresh link has been posted, which I checked. Seems ok.
    I also notice a copywrite flag in medifire. not sure how to set/reset it yet. Rrrrr!

    So, I've also included a DropBox link.
    I like them better, but can't see the download count that way.
    Oh well.

    Hmmm.

    I just tried the link, and it downloaded ok for me.
    However, I notice the Media Fire download count did not increment.
    So, I've updated the account.
    Hopefully that will make the link start working for everyone.
    Could someone please try again and write back.
    If that still doesn't work for people, I'll figure out some other file share system.

    AMCO for 1.5.1 has been updated to revision 1a

    Whew, finaly done!
    Everything took longer than expected, and I had to take a break to sleep.
    However, we're finally up and running again today.

    I am very pleased with this revision:
    Almost 4 dozen great mods working together. 'Millenare', 'Tale of Kingdoms', 'Goblins', 'Special Mobs', 'Gems Plus', and many more.
    Tons of great 32x32 textures from the best artists out there.
    Amazing new colors for grass, water, stone, snow, sky, stars, sun, moon, and The End.
    Hundereds of new tools and recipies.
    And too much other awesome stuff to list in one post.

    I just can't thank the mod authors enough for thier excellent work, helpfullness, and willingness to share with us all.

    Greetings all.

    We are a few hours away from an update, onlly 6 more mods for me to get working.
    A few more really awesome mods were just updated, like 'Wee Flowers' by MatrixVigil, and 'MystCraft' by XCompXiz.
    I also got 'Better Dungeons' from Chocolatin running now too. Definitely worth the wait.
    32x32 textures are up and running too. Tobiwank3nobi's latest edition of 'Inspiration Texture Pack' is amazing.

    All the great stuff is going to blow some minds.
    So, get your catcher's mit ready, you might need it to pick your brain up off the floor.

    Bad News:
    I've been having a lot of trouble with the changes made to how snow works.
    Lots of my custom traps use snow, and the ones that do are all triggering right after world gen.
    I am already modifying the snow code to add color (don't eat the yellow stuff :) ).
    And I had a crack at changing it back to how it worked before last night, but no luck.
    Converting all my traps to work off ladders, signs, or torches will take lots more time.
    So, I think I'll delete the buildings with traps that use snow for now.

    Good News:
    I was able to put the finishing touches on THE END overhaul.
    Fractal colors, Ender Eye implants, and Endermen statues are all working great.
    And, I got a ton of 32x32 textures for 'Gems Plus' all finished up last night too.
    It also looks like we already have all the mod updates/permissions we are going to get for this week.
    So, with some more work on finishing touches and a little luck, it looks like AMCO 1.5.1 will be ready tonight!

    I an especially excited about the mods from FatherToast: 'Special Mobs', 'Utility Mobs', 'Lava Monsters', and more.
    I'm also stoked about 'Dungeon Mobs' from GnomeWorks and 'Goblins' from Sartharis because they add creatures from D&D.
    All those new mobs go great with the big castle and quests from 'Tale of Kingdoms' which is now maintained by Aginsun.

    Hello again everyone.

    We had another reset last week with vanilla minecraft being updated to 1.5.1.
    Modders have been very quick this time, and very generous in granting permission to include thier work.
    I have about 2 dozen great mods working together now, but we are still not ready for to post an update.
    'Millenare', 'Portal Gun', 'Gems Plus', 'Elemental Tinkerer', 'Dungeon Mobs', and tons of others are all up and running.
    However, we need to wait for updates or permission for mods that change world gen, like 'Wee Flowers', 'Coral', 'BuildCraft', and a few more.
    And, I'm also out of town through the weekend.

    Fret not. The extra delay has given me enough time to finally overhaul THE END.
    It now has it's own Colorizer, like grass, except this one implants trippy fractal colors and huge ender eyes:


    And huge enderman statues now appear.
    They have hearts of gold, and brains of sponge.
    Maybe that's why they hate water: it causes brain swelling. :)


    Oh, and eyes that heal the dragon of course.
    And diamonds on the souls of thier shoes too? Why not!
