I've read through the problems people are having and will be looking into them.
Error reports really help.
Otherwize I just have to guess what maybe-might-kinda-dunno what's wrong with your setup.
Amazingly, we still have some great guessed fixes in the forum too, but error reports really are the way to go.
Thanks or all the mod suggestoins, I'll be checking those out.
Lots of folks are requesting 'Timber' or 'Treecacitator' to make wood gathering easier, so I'll add it.
Besides, since bark, roots, and heartwood are different blocks it means we should be able to hollow out giant redwoods easily, without killing taking out the whole tree.
I was also able to get a lot of electrical/mechanical mods working last weekend.
'Applied Energies' is awesome, and has really neat ways of making storage systems.
'Modular Power Suits' is also amazing: Super speed, super jumps, a multi tool, rail guns, flight, enhanced teleportation...
'Vending Machienes' allow players to buy/sell things to each other.
'Thermal Expansion' and 'Factorization' are great, but require an update to Forge that I'm still working on.
'Better Enchanting' was buggy, but has been updated; runs like a charm now (and charms on the run too, he he!)
I've also been working on 32x32 textures for all the new tools and armor added by 'Gems Plus'.
'BiblioCraft' will also be added. It adds lots of neat shelves, cases, and stands to show off all the new stuff too:
Special thanks to those who have sent in videos, I'll be posting them on the front page next update.
We could use a few more though.
Next update will be posted in anothe day or two.
After many hours of play testing I am still not able to reproduce Null Pointer Errors some were having.
If you are having this trouble, please post your error reports, especially if you've already disabled 'Better Dungeons'

I really liked your video, and will post it on the front page next update (in a few days).
If you start a series I'l also like to include links to it.
Any chance of getting a 2-3 minute verson of you flying through "Cliffs of Insanity"?
I feel that would give people an intense tip-of-the-iceberg preview wich would make folks want to watch the rest of your series.
'Applied Energies' is awesome, and has an open licende. I will include it next update.
The author of 'Weapons Mod' does not grant permision to include, so it will not be in next update.
I will contact JSOne Stuidios about geting permission for 'Campfire Mod'.
Backpacks are already in AMCO by the way.
What I'd really like to see is a way to craft the fire block.
There is a bug in the game since the Alpha days that allows you to craft chainmail from the fire block.
I modify the chainmail textures to look like fire, which looks like my avatar's picture.
Thanks a lot for the detailed post.
Bug reports (with fixes) like that realy help me out.
The items you mention will be fixed next revision.
I wouldn't mind some tech mods in the pack, it's just that hardly any have been updated yet.

It is very difficult to guess what is wrong for you without an error report.
If the process on the forum's front page does not work for getting one, because you crash so early in startup, perhaps you can copy-past the contents of your "ForgeModLoader-client-0.log" file found in your .minecraft folder.
Remember to use enclose it in "spoiler" "/spoiler" so all that code doesn't clutter up the forum.
Replace the quotes with brackets [ and ] so it showes up in the forum as:
paste your error report in here
Cmcmmcmc and others with Null Pointer Errors,
I haven't forgotten about you, just can't reproduce on my sustem yet.
Still investigating though.
Thanks for that link to 'Forestry', I'll check it out.
Sending in links with your mod suggestoins really helps me out.
It speeds up the process, and increases the chances the mod you're suggesting will be included.
'Lanterns' and 'Biblography' are great mods and seem to be compatable with AMCO.
I am contacting the mod authors for permission to include in next update.
AMCO already includes 32x32 textures by Wreckage all the new for gem blocks and colored glass.
I'll also be working on getting more 32x32 textures together for all the new tools and armor 'Gems Plus' adds to the game.
We'll also probably get some more server debug in this weekend too.
Good luck everyone.

Yes. AMCO uses a custom colorizer I wrote myself.Quote from ZazzerpanI seem to be getting some graphical glitches involving the grass; every now and then, at night, or in an oddly shadowed area it'll sometimes turn a large plot of grass black. It works fine when I play it vanilla though. :s edit: i think the problem has to do with the texture packs i'm trying to use?
You'll have to take the GrassColors.png file from AMCO's misc folder and plunk it into your texturepack.
Thought I had fixed that. Will look into it again next revision.
Meh. 'Timber' kinda breaks the game balance in my opinion.Quote from LazzdarSince you were using the Forestry mod, and it's not updated, why not use the Timber mod? It's 1.5.1 and apparently has 1 block ID clash...can that be fixed? Like I said, I'm not sure what effect this ID conflict has, but I can still chop down whole trees...
People are welcome to install it themselves as you have though.
"Axe of the Stream" from 'ThaumCraft' is a better option that does not kill game balance.
'ThaumCraft' will be included again as soon as it is updated.
I'll also be checking into 'Forestry'
Edit: Anyone got a link to 'Forestry' for 1.5.1?
I've been trying to get 'Death Chest' to work since Revsion 1.Quote from LazzdarDeath Chest, too. I'm assuming it's not in there (haven't checked the mod list) as the chest in my inventory's not working.
No luck yet. Here is another option though:
Open the MiniMap menu and turn on the Death Waypoint.
Won't auto save your stuff (but it won't disapear untill you are near it for 5 min anyway), but shows where you droped everything.
Apr 10, 2013Greetings all, just checking in to answer questions.Posted in: Minecraft Mods
Sharkboy and others stuck with Null Pointers,
I need to hear back from you weather you've tried disabeling 'Better Dungeons' or not.
I'll also try playing around in some superflat worlds and other things I can think of that might make Null Pointer errors.
You have to follow the install instructions.
Step 1 says rename your .minecraft folder.
Step 2 says get a fresh install of the game becaue AMCO is likely to conflict with any mods you already have installed.
In your case your system is still looking for 'Better Than Wolves'
cpw.mods.fml.common.LoaderException: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: mod_FCBetterThanWolves
Doing the first 2 steps will make your system stop looking for Better Than Woves.
Renaming before install also allows a clean recovery in case you don't like AMCO.
Not sure how that will work out for you now that you've mixed AMCO and BTW, but good luck.
Please try again using a fresh install.
Hypersonic, and others stuck on the splash screen:
AMCO can take a really long time to load and generate new worlds, like 1-3 minutes on my system.
Just be paitient.
Part of the delay is mods that do not include all of the textures they were programed to have, like ToK.
Part of the delay is mods going out to the internet to see if they have a new update available.
I'm working on correcting both issues right now.
Mudkip, and others without vanilla sound and textures:
Sound loads last when getting a fresh install.
If you don't start a new world and walk around a bit, your system might not download the sound files.
You should be able to get another fresh copy, do that, and reinstall to correct.
That's why I usually include the vanilla sound files in AMCO's download.
However, I removed them while debugging the problem with download link being copyrighted byd due to the 'Portal Gun' theme song.
I will include them agian in the next revision.
My friends and I are also haveing some trouble setting up our server.
We are working on it though, and I'll write back when we get all the kinks ironed out.
Thanks a ton for the video!
I'll see about getting it onto the front page, and also keep an eye on your series.
I've also included a really cool world in the download called "Cliffs of Insanity".
Flying around that one in creative might alos make a cool overview video.
Got a video? Need help? Have a suggestion for a new mod to include?
We'd love to hear about it here in the forum.
Good luck everyone.

Your error report complains about 'Better Dungeons' by Chocolatin.
Perhaps it is trying to place blocks outside of world limits.
Maybe you are playing with a non-standard world, like superflat?
That might make the basements for some of the big dungeons try to go below the bedrock layer can cause the crash.
You should try disabling 'Better Dungeons'.
You can to that by creating a new folder called "unuded_mods" and moving it from .minecraft/mods to the new folder.
Forge will not find it then, and it will no longer get loaed into the game that way.
And, if it turns out not to be the problem, you can move the mod back home to the "mods" folder.

'Forestry' was not included because it has not been updated to 1.5.1 yet.
Same story for 'Redpower 2', 'BuildCraft', 'ThaumCraft', 'Fossils' and a bunch of other great mods.
Don't worry though. If/when those are updated I'll put them in.
Thanks for those mod suggestions.
I'll check them out.
Apr 9, 2013AMCO 1.5.1 has just been updated to Revision 2Posted in: Minecraft Mods
Download link fixed.
'Tale of Kindoms 2' replaces ToK1, so AMCO is now Multiplayer compatable!!
Some friends of mine have set up servers. Look for world downloads and maybe videos soon.
"Cliffs of Insanity" world included.
- This is the world I will play and post in later revisions.
- Amazing cliffs, waterfalls, and tropical pools show off all the new colors.
- Millienare Village close to what will be the new cliffside base.
- Redwood forest (Natura) and large sky complex made from the newly recolored EndStone (Better Dungeons) near the Fighter's Guild (Tale of Kingdoms2).
- Large raviene near the Guild shows off all the new 'Gems Plus' additions.
- Lots of fruit trees and other new plants thanks to 'Harvest Craft'
'Tinker's Conctruct' also by mDiyo was updated. You can really customize your tools now.
'Ruins' got a special update from Atomic Stryker. AMCO's special trapped buildings work again.
New structures each with new risk and rewards: EnderStatues, Biosphere, Mashroom, and Crushroom.
A few more new 32x32 textures and bug fixes.
And lots of other great stuff.
Apr 9, 2013Someone finally sent me a screenshot of thier "Permission Denied" screen.Posted in: Minecraft Mods
Seems like the Portal Gun song is what is being flagged for copywrite.
Removing it means the portal gun records probably won't work, but perhaps the download links will.
Makes the download size smaller too.
People can always reinstall 'Portal Gun' themselves to get the full soundtrack.
Here is a link to what I've just posted on RapidShare:
And another for the new copy that's on MediaFire:
Apr 9, 2013Doubble dang and blast!Posted in: Minecraft Mods
Changed link on front page to be the same as previous posting.
Still wresteling with Rapid Share.
Gotta break for some food.
Yes, AMCO now suports Multiplayer! (I do not write the Wiki it must be out of date).
In this revision, Tale of Kingdoms 1 (which is not SMP) will be replaced by Tale of Kingdoms 2 (which does).
Remember to follow the install instructions, rename your .minecraft folder, and get a fresh copy of the game.
That way ToK1 will be deleted and ToK2 will be installed correctly.
Otherwize you may have trouble.
I'm haveing trouble getting NEI to not work with AMCO.
Probably someting in 'HD Textrue Fix'is conflicting.
The mod installs ok, and Forge can see it, but the GUI does not display.
'HD Texture Fix' alters how things are rendered, and frequently messes up mods with thier own GUI.
However, between 'Crafting Guide' and Creative mode, you get almost all the same features.
Press while in game to bring up all the menues for 'Crafting Guide'
Got RapidShare working.
Still can't post screenshots yet.
But let's try this link for the download: http://rapidshare.co...O1_5_1Rev2a.zip
Apr 9, 2013Meh.Posted in: Minecraft Mods
MediaFire (incorrectly) throws copywrite again.
My DropBox public links have been suspended too, due to high traffic.
< ...Trudges off to install RapidShare, which requires a reboot... >
Back in a bit.
Found some things that might be triggering MediaFire in the new stuff for Rev2a changes and deleted them.
Perhaps this link will work, perhaps not:
Apr 9, 2013Frustrating.Posted in: Minecraft Mods
Perhaps we've been running into some kind of limit because of download size.
I cut out a lot of vanilla sound files (sometimes they are not all loaded when you get a fresh copy of the game).
That brings the download size from over 120Meg to less than 85Meg.
Please try agian folks.
Apr 9, 2013AMCO 1.5.1 Revisoin 2a has just been posted!Posted in: Minecraft Mods
Not a huge update, but lots of important stuff:
'Tale of Kingdoms' should support multiplayer now.
'Coral Reefs' is now included (one of my all-time favorites, so I also included my 32x32 textures).
The rest of 'Harvest Craft' is now included.
'Tinker's Construct' was updated and fixed.
'Natura' was added. Check out all the new trees and clouds (even in the Nether).
And a few more texture updates and other fixes.
Download link converted back to MediaFire, which I think I've beat into submission now.
"Cliffs of Insanity" example world is also included.
My friends and I will be playing this world, and including it again in future updates.
So, this one would be a good choice for a new video ZantigoSol.
Others are welcome to send in thier videos too. More is better.
A simple fly through the cliffs and other structers on your way to the Fighters Guild would work great for now.
Link works fine for me, I just downloaded and installed to fresh game as per instructions.
If someone could write back with "works" or "broken link" that wold be great.
Apr 8, 2013Greetings all.Posted in: Minecraft Mods
Still working on the link, sorry about the delay.
Good news is some more great mods were updated over the weekend.
'Harvest Craft' by MatrexsVigil is now included, except blackberries, blueberries, and raspberries.
'Natura' by mDiyo was able to fit. It adds huge redwoods, eucaliptis, clouds, and nether plants.
(it also adds blackberries, blueberries, raspberries, and other crops).
'Tinker's Construct', alos by mDiyo, was updated too. It runs bug free on my system now.
'Tale of Kingdomes2' now supports multiplayer.
'Coral' by Q3Hardcore, was updated too:
It is in my top 5 mods of all time because it makes people want to build underwater.
I'll probably have another quick revision posted late tonight.
Apr 7, 2013Not sire about 'Equifalent Echange': haven't seen an new post from the author in many months.Posted in: Minecraft Mods
'Thaumcraft' is being updated though.
Sorry about the DropBox traffic limit.
File share services have been a huge pain lately.
I'll try to post some new links on Monday when I have access to faster internet.
I've also been finding and fixing quite a few small bugs, and getting lots updates for the mods already in the pack.
Hang in there everyone.
