Causes too much lag on too many machienes.
However, 'Lanterns' is included which also adds movable light sources, includeing a headlamp.
Probably uses similar tricks as 'Dynamic Lights'.
Seems to cause less lag because it does not modify every light source in the world, only the special lanterns people make.
Fewer modified light sources to do all those lighting updates for, so less lag.

Rev 1 for 1.5.2 will mostly be about recreating 1.5.1 and getting AMCO back online.
There will be a few new mods in it, but not a ton.
Fore example, 'PetBat', also from AtomicStriker, the author of 'DynamicLights'.
I'll expand out to include more mods in later revisions (as long as they are top notch, and dont' kill game balance).
Your error report complains of MCpatcher, which sometimes convlicts with 'Optifine'.
Please start over with clean 1.5.1 minecraft.jar file and install forge .611
That will remove MCpatcher code (and my custom colorizers).
Hopefully that will get you going till AMCO 1.5.2 is posted.

Have a look on page 250 of the forum.
Yorple kindly sent in several config files for 'Treecapitator'.
Pretty sure one of them is what you want.
Your error report looks line the one 'DNS Update Checker' throws when it cannot connect to the internet.
Please be sure that is not in your "mods" folder.
Or perhaps it is some other mod that is trying to check to see if it has updates.
I wish I could disable that "feature" in every mod that has it because:
- Checking for updates slows down game start.
- Installing updates blindly can cause conflicts with the other 100+ mods in the pack.

Besides, if you really want to be rid of the bark and leaves burning them is more fun.
You can build Fire Arrrows to help out with that.
They come from 'Ropes Plus', by AtomicStriker, and are built like this:
You should be able to take down a whole tree with a half dozen good shots.
Makes an even better show at night.
Exploding arrows are also a lot of fun, and you'll get a few saplings.
Place them in a 7x7 square to regrow the tree, which takes a few days.
Torch arrows are also super handy for caving.

Most importantly, everything that adds new stuff durring world generation is now up to date.
That means our 1.5.1 worlds won't get destroyed when upgrading to 1.5.2
So, I'm starting on AMCO for 1.5.2 tonight, which means a new version of AMCO should be ready before the weekend.

Some there is an "ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: 127" being thrown by some of my custom colorizer code.
I am not sure why.
My code handles the number 127, and everything else, just fine on my system.
Perhaps you are missing some of the files it needs in your minecraft.jar/misc folder.
The error report complains about sand and stone.
Do you have SandColors.png and StoneColors.png in the misc folder inside your minecraft.jar?
Those are both files that have 128 pixels in them.
Perhaps try putting the files in AMCO's "Root" folder back into your minecraft.jar.
That folder contains a misc folder that contains SandColors.png, StoneColors.png, and all the other colorizer bitmaps.
I noticed Java handles the modulous (remander) function differently than other languages.
Programmers use that function to make large numbers to fit into a repeating sequence.
I use it to map the blocks location onto a repeating bitmaps of colors with a wrap-around effect.
For example, Mod(15,6) = 3 because 15 divided by 6 is 2, remainder 3.
Here is a plot of mod6 of the first 15 numbers so we can see how the pattern repeats:

Mod(#,6) 1 2 3 4 5 0 1 2 3 4 5 0 1 2 3
So, mod6 of a number fits it into a range that repeats from 0 to 5.
That way an infinite number of block locations will all take thier colors from a finite color pallet.
Lots of languages key up on this concept.
If the code calls for mod6 of a negative number you still get values from +0 to +5.
Not mathematicaly correct, but more handy for using the funciton to make maps that have wrap-around.
Unfortunately, Java seems to use the mathematically correct method.
Mod(-15,6) = -3 in Java, but Mod(-15,6) =+3 in an XL spreadsheet.
That's not what is causing the problem in your case (the log complains of +127, like it's missing the bitmap).
But perhaps there is some other system dependent bug like the + vs. - mod of a number.
If your minecraft.jar/misc is correct, but you still have trouble, you can remove the custom colors by:
Start with a fresh minecraft.jar file for 1.5.1.
There should have been one saved when you renamed your .minecraft folder.
Install 'Forge'. I used version 184.108.40.2061.

I don't have enough time to answer every question this post.
Here are some things I've noticed that may help.
'Millenaire' is not working correctly on servers.
Centenoul's advice about renaming mods/millenaire/config.txt to config-server.txt should work.
Or, just delete it from your mods folder.
'Tale of Kingdoms' causes a lot of crash/lag problems after you get about 7000 coins.
I reccomend deleting that one from your mods folder too.
I have not seen Kladdeyo's problem on my system before.
However, the glitch seems to be with 'Not Enough Items'.
You should be able to correct that by moving NEI out of your 'mods' folder.
Then restart your game.
And, you might able to start using it again by putting it back into your 'mods' folder after the restart.
I am planning on remaking AMCO for 1.5.2, in another week or two when more mods are updated.

You can remove the effect by:
- Get a fresh copy of minecraft.jar.
- Do not extract AMCO's "Jar" files into your minecraft.jar file. Instead, just install 'Forge'.
- Do extract AMCO's "Root" files into your .minecraft folder. Done.
Different species of trees now look diferent:
Grass is now greener (and browner):
Sand has Grand Canon colors, so you might actualy build something in the desert:
Stone colors give the mountians some bands of colors:
I especially like how it looks near lava pools now:
And a complete overhaul of THE END.
It now has it's own Colorizer, like grass, except this one gives endstone fractal colors and implants huge ender eyes:
And huge enderman statues now appear.
They have hearts of gold, and brains of sponge.
Maybe that's why they hate water: it causes brain swelling.
Oh, and eyes that heal the dragon of course.
And diamonds on the souls of thier shoes too? Why not!
There are also custom colorizers for water, snow and a few others.
Ores from some mods do not get colored correctly because the mod auther did not have them inherit all the properties of ores.
Most likely they wrote their own type of block instead. Nothing I can do about that.
However, many mods are correct, like all the new gems from 'Gems Plus'.

Then, there is a fairly high percentage that post a complaint, but do not include an error report.
It is super hard to help those folks: can't do much for them but feel bad and encourage error reports to be posted.
So, it's actually very valuable to me if a few nice people, like yourself, take the time to let me know it is working for them.

WASD vs. ESDF,
WASD is the convention because it allows pushing the <ctrl>, <shift>, <alt>, and <funciton> keys without moving your hand.
That was important back in the day when keyboards could only read one key press at a time.
(For example, if you pressed and held and then pressed <w>, the <w> would not register, so moving diagonally was impossible).
The Control Keys are exceptions (you can press and hold <shift> and then press , and the will still register as "A").
Control keys are special, they just light another bit in the code.
Example:The unicode value for "A" is 65.The unicode value for "a" is 97.(When dinosaurs were still alive computers used all capital letters by default, so their unicode values are actually smaller).(And the code was called ASCII: American Standard Code for Information Interchange.)(Unicode inherited ASCII's way of doing things, and mostly just added more characters to the end.)Holding <shift> toggles the 5th bit of the code. 2^5 = 32.So, the <shift> key simply adds/subtracts 32 form the default value. 65 + 32 = 97.Other control keys were assigned other bits. So we could tell <ctrl>+ apart from <shift>+, or even <ctrl>+<shift>+<alt>+.
That way you can crouch and move at the same time.
In a lot of ways, the same is still true today.
In many games you can assign "A" to do a different thing than "a", but you still can't make "aw" or "wd" do something unique.
So, I'll fix the key binding conflicts, but will stick with the old WASD convention.
Besides, those are the controls I personally am most accustomed with.

There seems to be something wrong with the installer.
(It is some kind of glitch that depends on which compression utility is being used to unzip things)
MadCock has read your error report and is working on a fix.
In the mean time you should still be able to use the Manual Install method.
* open the installer folder. Inside you should see InstallAMCO.exe and a "Bin" folder.
* Inside the "Bin" folder is the "Mods" folder, and inside that is "AMCOrev5.zip".
* AMCOrev5.zip has 2 folders in it "Jar" and "Root"
* Extract the contents of the "Jar" folder into your minecraft.jar file.
* Extract the contents of the "Root" folder into your .minectaft folder.
Hard to say. I have not seen that error report before, and it does not contain much info.
My guess is that 'Optifine' is having some problem with the Sphax_PureBDcraft texture pack.
You might try using the other one.
If your game is not starting, you can still change texturepacks by editing your "options.txt" file in the .minecraft folder.
It's the 18th line down where it says "skin:Sphax_PureBDcraft__32x_MC15.zip"
Try changing that to "skin:AMCO in HD.zip".
AMCO rev5 has been downloaded about 1000 times since yesterday.
So, it seems like everything must be working correctly for most people.
Sorry to those who are having trouble, different systems seem to be acting a bit differently.
Don't worry though, we are reading your posts and batteling those bugs.
Keep those error reports comming.

Try deleting 'Better Dungeons' from your .minecraft/mods folder if you haven't already.
If you have already done that, plese post your error report so we can see what the problem is.

Sorry MadCock, we'll get it figured out shortly.
It's late Saturday morning in Euorope; folks want to play now, so I wanted to post something functional.
The update checker is a super nice feature, but can cause problems if it can't get access to the network.
'Better Dungeons' seems to be the culprit for the crashes durring world gen.
Both MadCock and I were able to get it to crash when installed, and stop crashing when not installed.
Only a handfull of people downloaded the pack with these problems, so I did not incrememet the revision number.
We are still officially at Rev5.
Hopefuly this will finaly work.
Sorry for the thrash everyone.
Thanks again to those who wrote in with their error reports.

I've run it 4 times each way.
I can get my system to crash if 'Better Dungeons' is installed.
I have not been able to get my sustem to crash if 'Better Dungeons' is removed.
The error reports also complain of 'Better Dungeons'.
So, links will be broken for a sec while I remove that mod from the download.
That crash is due to the update checker not being able to get to the files it needs.
I've been able to duplicate it by using a firewall, or simply not connecting to the internet.
You can remove 'DNS Update Checker' from your .minecraft/mods folder to avoid the error.
I have been able to prevent this error by removing that file.
It is documented in the "Known Bugs" section, but looks like I need to delete it from the download.
