@elseagoat I'll have to give it a try extending the circuit, but practically, after a certain point in most situations, the buttons will reach a distance in between the two where an individual line would be more practical. I'm not sure what you mean by "turning" the wire though. Otherwise, I would give that a shot too.
@Immute Yes, it is very similar, mostly in the fact that it uses redstone's signal length to activate different torches, but TaviRider has done the exact same thing as Lanceri has stated above. Either way, using this technique would not allow me to wire my EATS road intersection the way I did, it simply is impossible. Yes, both buttons share a couple of gates, but both have unique gates as well. The front end wire is shared, the the back end wire is, essentially 100% unique.
I may have to make a video comparing the two, as there seems to be some confusion on the true function of my circuit.
Alright, so I invented a redstone circuit that can "read" the length of the wire attached to it. Simply put, two buttons/levers/pressure plates/ect... can share the same wire but have two separate outputs. See for your self.
If you can improve on it, by all means please present. Btw, I thoroughly searched google/minecraft wiki/minecraft forums/youtube and have found no evidence of this being done yet. I am kinda surprised by that, it seems like something that would have come up along time ago. I mean, who wouldn't want two buttons attached to the same wire to have different outputs?

Ok... here is a quick vid of the difference.

It also allows a button to send two signals w/one press.
The difference between our designs:
Yours - The closer the lever, the more torches it activates.
Mine - Each lever activate one and only one output, ever.
Thanks for the input.
