    Limbo is an "in between" dimension. Certain monsters will exist in Limbo where they can interact with objects and beings on the real world, but the real world cannot interact with them.

    In order to interact with being or objects in limbo, one must first step on a Phase Fire flame. The players body will enter the space between dimensions and be able to interact with beings and objects in Limbo, for a limited time.

    While in Limbo the players vision with be strangely altered, and their bodies will appear ghostly to all others.

    Actually the nether slime islands do or will exist in MC 1.8.9. I have seen then on DireWolf20's Forgecraft series.


    Everything I say about this mod should be met with the footnote that I haven't played since 1.7.10 and have no idea what I'm talking about ;)

    Actually, no.
    Put a log of wood in a casting basin, and pour lava over it. (80% sure.)
    I believe there are no nether slime islands.

    it would help to have more articulate specifics than "can not in lava to smelty"

    Substantially too high potion effect numbers. Strength V will multiply your damage by 6 and a half with all attacks. (wooden sword hits harder than four diamond swords at once)

    Level up GUIs are an amazing idea.
    Problem is skills are really annoying to use unless you have something like 30 keybinds, and if all the skills are passive, leveling up doesn't quite feel as awesome.
    I haven't seen it done much, and don't think I know enough to put a thing the the main post about it, but I like the idea, even if the two mods I have seen do it both did so fairly poorly.

    Why 1.8.9 support?
    Once forge is out of beta for 1.9, I don't see any coherent reason to use 1.8.9 for anything anymore. Just 1.7.10 and 1.9.

    Stencil table: Make stencils. Connects to network.
    Part Builder: Put materials in stencil shapes. Connects to network.
    Tool Station: Put together parts. Connects to network.
    Crafting Table: Vanilla block. Won't connect to network.

    Smeltary: Later game alternative to Stencil table and Part builder. Won't connect to network.
    Tool Forge: Later game alternative to Tool Station. Connects to network.
    Crafting Station: A crafting table that will keep your things when you close the GUI. Connects to network.

    In other words, the crafting table isn't used to make tools, and even in 1.7.10 couldn't do it unless adgacent to a tool station or tool forge, and iguana tinker tweaks was installed.
